Xylitol is incredible. My teeth were wrecked and regularly chewing/ rinsing with xylitol (natural birch not gmo corn stuff) has virtually REPAIRED all of the damage... I had an infection under a tooth which I had had root canal work on, and it just got better. No more aching, no more abcesses. Twinges from new caries vanished. It's just incredible, I can see why dentists in general don't talk about it much..

7 years and only 7500 views? It's a shame more people don't know about this. I've been taking xylitol throughout the day for over two years now. Several problems resolved and have not returned, including gingivitis and tooth pain deep in my lower jaw. I don't even think about dental problems any more.

Keep the xylitol away from dogs! Not sure about cats but it is very dangerous if a dog ingests even small amounts. I use the mints but keep them carefully away from my dog. Thank you Dr. Ellie but do please advise about this! Loving your plan which is already making my teeth feel cleaner and improving the gums receding around a few of my teeth!

I have been brushing with xylitol and chewing the gum for maybe 4 months now and i am blown away how much better my mouth feels. I have facial cavities that I need filled and they actually seem to be reducing in size since I started. My gums feel healthy and I can actually chomp my teeth again without fearing breaking a tooth. Yes, my teeth are jacked but I am thinking this may save me from spending a ton of money on dental work this year

Here, the FDA seems to work more for profits than for the people's well-being. Thank you for sharing this information

Shame the best medical and dental protocols for all of us do not get published. It is all about money. Thank you Ellie!

Started Ellie’s oral health program a month ago. I was scraping plaque build up from between my front lower teeth every two weeks. Since starting her program mouth feels great and absolutely no new plaque build up and nothing to scrape!

I too have only just seen and heard, from you Dr Ellie Phillips, about the benefits of Xylitol 😊 13 years later than this video presentation.

I appreciate this from a DDS. Several years ago I came across a dental hygienist on UA-cam educating about benefits of xylitol pulling vs pulling with coconut oil. I Have since shared with my PMA members and add xylitol (organic MADE FROM BIRCH BARK - not synthetic!) in the oral health rinse I make. I add myrrh gum to my rinse to help with receding gums. I love swishing with xylitol vs coconut oil. I have also been a fan of xylitol gum for many years. Being able to share this video from a DDS will add more credibility to the education I provide to others. However, my knowledgeable associates will be very quick to point out that toxic fluoride is being encouraged. Fluoride crystallizes the pineal gland -look at the source used in municipal water! It is not mineral based. Hydrogen peroxide works great for cleaning toothbrushes if you don't have sonic brushes. I avoid artificial ingredients found in most mouthwashes.

So True..when i was a kid in England in the 60s the dentist pulled so many teeth and drilled and filled the rest ,ALL OF THEM that they ruined everything…just because the NHS gave them money for each one…no wonder people dont go to the dentist..hopefully its changed now,but i dont think so…

It can be used as chewing gum, mouth rinse, sugar substitute, in bake goods.
