How to Use Pancakeswap with Metamask Binance Smart Chain (BSC) Tutorial

- In this video, I'm going to show you step by step how to set up your Metamask BSC wallet, get BNB tokens on an exchange and send to Metamask Wallet then connect to Pancakeswap to earn CAKE token by staking and farming.
If you want to use PancakeSwap with MetaMask, you should first set up your MetaMask wallet and then connect it to Binance Smart Chain.
🥞 What is PancakeSwap?
PancakeSwap is a decentralized exchange built on Binance Smart Chain, a fast and inexpensive alternative to Ethereum. Much like the celebrated Uniswap DeFi AMM protocol running on Ethereum, PancakeSwap enables users to swap between cryptocurrency assets by tapping into user-generated liquidity pools.

How do you approve WBNB spend limit message in Metamask activity to complete transaction via Pancake Swap?
Very very helpful & informative!! Let's say that now I have cake, but I decide to convert it to eth on pancakswap, how then afterwards, can I send it back to to the ethereum network on metamask? Thank you!
In that case, I recommend is to swap the CAKE to BNB and send to an exchange such as binance, etc.
Then you can convert from BNB to ETH and send to your metamask ETH network.
Remember, even tho you convert CAKE to ETH inside of BSC network, the eth is not on ERC20 which means you can't directly move it to ETH mainnet.
I keep having issues with the tolerance even after increasing it to 49.. can you please help me out

Great video but I have a small question here. Instead of sending BNB token from Binance to MetaMask, is it possible to send CAKE right away so I don't have to swap it in Pancakeswap later on?
Yes it is possible! Make sure the network is BSC. Also, try sending small amount first before sending large amount.

Hi Tario, great video. I already have a ETH metamask account, do I have to create a second account in my wallet to set it up as BSC and use for tokens on pancakeswap ? will that work? to have 2 accounts on your metamask wallet, one for ETH and 1 for BSC? Thanks again
Hey Mario, you don't need to create a second metamask account, what you're creating is another network option under the same metamask account.
So 1 network for eth (default), the other network is for BSC.

Just curious, regarding with:
1) In a Metamask account, the difference between "Adding token"
and having a "Binance Smart Chain Mainnet"?
Say I have an ETH in Ethereum Mainnet and I "Add Token" - say BNB token...vs another Mainnet
2) If I swap Ethereum for BNB, is my BNB going to appear in "Binance Smart Chain Mainnet"
or under the BNB token created under "Add Token"

1. adding "BSC Mainnet" is adding another network on your metamask wallet. "Adding token" is adding specific token/coin under a specific network. Certain tokens are only available under certain network. For example, CAKE token is only available under "BSC" network, so in order to add it to your wallet you need to make sure you select BSC network option (not ETH network).
2. If you swap any token under ETH network (metamask default network), it won't automatically appear on your BSC network, they are two separate/different networks.

HI. 1 question. How can I access the same pancakeswap on the new laptop.
Scenario
1) Staked some CAKE on pancakeswap using laptop A
2) Laptop A broken/stolen and cannot access pancakeswap from laptop A anymore
3) Buy new laptop (laptop B)
4) How to retrieve back the CAKE that was staked on pancakeswap on laptop A before
Depends on what wallet is used for staking, you can use backup phrase to recover it.
What if i have eth in metamask ethereum mainnet, would i be able to acess it directly on pancakeswap or i would have to transfer it first to the bsc adress?
You have to transfer from eth mainnet to BSC network.

Current eth gas isn't really high. Especially when ETH 2.0 comes out, the gas will be even cheaper.
awesome vid. I've had success with trust wallet, but i cant send BNB from binance.US to my Meta Mask. It only gives me the option to withdraw BEP2 on binance.US and it says the "withdrawal address format is wrong" because im trying to send to my BEP20 address on metamask.. maybe im just being a dumby. Any advice would be awesome!
You have a few options:
1. Get a VPN and sign up for binance: bit.ly/3iETA9v
2. use trust wallet and convert the BNB to BNB BSC network. (ua-cam.com/video/ILunpN5Ht5k/v-deo.html)

i cant send it to a bnb or bsc it only says that I can send it by BEP2 and even with that I cant because when I put the bnb address it doesn't allow me to send. there's no bsc option
You have a couple options (not financial advice):
Option 1. Use VPN and sign up for Binance account (not Binance US), then transfer the BNB from Binance US to Binance with BEP2 and from there you can send out to MetaMask with BSC.
Option 2: Download and setup trust wallet (link: trustwallet.com/), send the BNB from Binance US to trust wallet then from there you might be able to swap BNB from BEP2 to BSC.
Option 3. Make sure you set up Metamask BSC first mentioned in this video first. Download Binance Wallet extension, this is Binance version of the hot wallet similar to MetaMask. (Link: chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/binance-chain-wallet/fhbohimaelbohpjbbldcngcnapndodjp You want to connect MetaMask wallet with this new extension by clicking on “I own wallet” and enter the seed phrase. Next, send the BNB token from Binance US to this extension by choosing Binance Chain Network (really important), then you can send the BNB internally in this extension from Binance Chain Network to Binance Smart Chain Network.
Option 3 might sound complicated but pretty straight forward. I’m happy to make a video about it but I don’t have a Binance US account.

I've been trying to swap BNB token or another in Meta mask but I keep getting insufficient funds, I do have 150 bucks sitting in BNB, do I need funds in ETH?
Maybe depends on the token you’re swapping? Or gas is too high?

when making a binance account dose it matter what country u use
If you’re from US, default is Binance US. Other countries use Binance. So there’s a difference.
I built the network correctly but it shows me zero quantities in the tokens.we know why
