- In this video, I'm going to show you in and out of Bitwarden, a free open-source password manager tool, so you will never have to worry about losing your password ever again!
What is Bitwarden?
Bitwarden is a free and open-source password management (password manager) service that stores sensitive information such as website credentials in an encrypted vault.
My reasons for choosing Bitwarden as my password manager tool:
1. Open Source Software (Code is hosted on Github; free for developers to audit the code)

@@tariosultan I hope you see this. I rarely comment. Great video. Minor suggestion, switch the plant next to your ring light with the salt lamp. Add something else so you have 3 items behind you. If you can make a subscribe sticker, place on wall or mount between the ring light circle. Just a subtle please subscribe... Keep up the great work.

well that was nicely detailed, and every bit helpful. One question though, you cover New accounts, but I need to Re-do about 25 accounts. Being overly cautious about locking up an access... can I presume it is much easier than I think ... or is it going to be a tedious replace PW one at a time.
How do you manually backup bitwarden in case SSD/hdd fails down the road? Use the export function and a flash drive?

What is a quick and painless way of getting both website and mobile URIs to sync up on Android? Or do I have to go and add all my mobile apps manually?
Tario, I have been a LastPass user for several years. Recently I imported all of my LP data into Bitwarden. Now when I click on any one of the saved login items I get a prompt in Red that reads "Unable to auto-fill the selected item on this page. Copy and paste instead". How can I fix that issue? Thanks in advance, this is a great tutorial video.

You can add one gmail account and duplicate (aka, clone) the account and update the email and PW. That’s the fastest way I can think of to add multiple gmail accounts fast.
Is there a way to share passwords “secretly”? As in, without the recipient seeing the password, but being able to access your login.
Yes you can do that, but have to be on the paid plan to share password within an organization. Hope this post helps: bitwarden.com/help/sharing/
As Tario said, you need to be on the business or family plan. The family plan is a rockin' steal at $3.33/mo. That gives you 6 premium accounts with the ability to create organizations, and collections inside of the organizations. These collections allow you to specify which people on your plan can see the passwords inside those collections. Furthermore, you can even set it so that bitwarden fills the password out, but doesn't allow it to be shown (this can be hacked if you know what you're doing though) and you can even prevent people from editing the password as well. It's really, really great. I highly recommend it. Plenty of videos here that show you exactly how it works, too.

I downloaded it on android and it won't autofill. Don't know what is the issue.
For Android there's a special permission that is needed which allows the app to draw over other applications. This should ask you to enable this permission when you first install it but perhaps you were confused by it or backed out of it because you didn't understand.
Uninstall BitWarden and reinstall it again and it will probably ask you to allow it permission to draw over other apps. This is what allows it to auto fill information for you. You don't want to give applications this permission unless they have good reason to do this because it can also be abused but for a password manager that requires this sort of permission this is totally safe. Remember this is also an open source app that has been thoroughly vetted by the security community.
Once you give it permission to autofill or draw over top other apps in your Android settings then you should easily see the little bit Warden buttons and options when it asks if you want to autofill. It's really smooth and seamless once you get the hang of it. Spend a little time practicing with it and you'll get it. If you have it enabled correctly it should have a nice little oval shaped bit Warden button on the top of your Android keyboard, or at least mine does.
Now, after saving all your passwords in bit warden, do you still save your passwords in other browsers.
