- This is episode 5 and also the final episode in my series "A Perfect Circle Around Southeast Asia". I started in Bangkok Thailand in December of 2022 and cycled thru Laos and Vietnam. This video covers my trip in Cambodia in February/March of 2023. I entered Cambodia at the Nong Nok Khiene Border Crossing and cycled to the city of Siem Reap to explore the ancient temple of Angkor Wat. I continued my trip cycling to the capital of Phnom Penh and then explore the salt farms nearby the old french colonial city of Kampot. 🚴🏻♀️🤓💕🇰🇭

Good morning from ❤
Fantastic job. I love to people shots.
Enjoyed your video. Very Inspiring. Glad you mentioned on Gandhiji & the way he opposed salt tax. Happy to learn that his ideas / thoughts are taught worldwide !
This was a fantastic video Jeremy! It has been a ton of fun to follow this trip
Thank you ao much Rene! I have memories for a lifetime!

❤
Love it
I am happy that you enjoyed it 😊
Amazing adventure and impressive bicycle journey.
Intrepid! Live, love and ride.
great footage, excellent video. how many days did you spend in angkor? i got the 3 day pass but could have easily spent more time.
I bought the 7 day pass as it was only an extra $10 more than the 3 day. I usually did half days in the morning due to the heat. 3 is plenty though. There are other temples you can use the pass at though can be up to 100km away. Im happy you enjoyed the video!
Great photography!
That was a superb series of videos going thru SE Asia. Really amazing. I came here looking for info on cycling in Vietnam and had to watch the rest as well. I know there was a lot of video editing and work that went into this. Thanks for sharing, now I really want to go back but do it on a bike!
I'm happy you enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun exploring in Cambodia nice and flat perfect for cycling too!
Bravo man! This is studio quality. You're living my dream! I hope my health out lasts my mortgage.

Epic adventure in an epic land. Incredible achievement to do this with a bicycle.
Thanks for your feedback. I miss the country and it's people already 🥰
The Cambodian Proverb is equivalent to the "When in Rome, do as Romans do".
Thanks for the analogy. Cambodia was an amazing place to travel 🚴♂️

Loved the video. What was your route from Siem Reap to Phnom Phen? I am doing it in a few weeks and not sure if I should take the west side of the lake or the east side or just take a ferry.
I took the east side if I had more time perhaps I would explore the west side. I will attache a link to my gps route below.

@@JeremyEll thank you! I’ll take a look I mapped out a route in Gaia maps. I’ll see how it compares. Appreciate this and the wonderful videos. I’m following you now.
sounds like theres a good mountain to ride up just outside Kampot, to an old fort or something ?
Have you heard if there was a name? Sounds interesting 🤔
Hello Jeremy, in your opinion which SE Asian country was most enjoyable to cycle in? Thank you
I'll pick Thailand as its very diverse cycling from the north to the south.. I didn't make a video for that but have done it in the past..And the infrastructure is excellent too..
Hey @jeremyell. Great video. Super interested in the route you took from siem reap to phnom penh. Are you ablw to share a gpx? Thanks, max
I dont have the gpx handy for that route as I am travelling in Bolivia right now. Ibhad followed the main highway southeast. It was traffic the entire way and next time I would look at a different route altogether.
I managed to find the *.kml file for you.. drive.google.com/file/d/1rST96IPA3HXZ7T-VOA1aGIWfComQTKMD/view?usp=sharing
@@JeremyEll awesome thank you very much! Ended up planning a back roads route and xurrently on the way to Ta Seng from Siem reap.
Are you touring by bicycle throughout Southeast Asia or just the Southeast Asian peninsula? There is no Indonesia, Philippines and Timor Leste.
This tour just included Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia. I have toured thru Malaysia to Singapore in the past. Obviously much more to cycle in the future 🚴♂
where is this guy lately?
Cycling in Argentina right now and heading south. I started in Bolivia 🚴♀️💯💙🇦🇷
