Yayyy so happy to have a shorter hair tutorial! Defeinitely going to give this a go for the multiple summer weddings I have 😂Thanks for the fab content as always ❤️
OOOH second view and first like! So excited for this video thank you Jessica! Thanks to you I've bought the scunci vintage hair roll and victory rollers, did the first successful victory rolls today!
I like how your videos are fun for everyone even people who don’t have longer hair and they’re just enjoyable n interesting to watch keep up the good work 😄😄
Aw thank you! I'm trying to convince Claudia to let me make a video rolling her hair since she has such a different texture and thickness (so.much.hair!) so hopefully that one will work for you ☺
wow. Gorgeous as always. :) I used to have hair just above shoulder length to halfway down my back (depending on my last donation) and all I ever did was put it in a pony tail or bun. Anything else took time, patience, and product (Kinsey 0 straight hair) I didn't want to use. Now, I have a pixie cut and it's *amazing*. :D
Absolutely stunning. Thanks for the great tutorial, will definitely have to give this a go! Given the amount of brushes used and given your immaculate hairstyles, I guess you also must be using the brushes far more than others... do you have any advice on care? Mine always get so dusty, and I literally have to pull off the fluff individually from each bristle with tweezers.
I feel like I would have panicked at the sight of my hair after taking out the curlers and brushing it out! haha! your hair looks lovely and I will try this look out for the holiday season
Love it ! You are such a joy to watch and I love your voice and accent 👍🏼💕 Thank you for the tips on dampening hair with sponge rollers. How many hours do you leave your curlers in in order for them to be dry the following morning?
ooh, vintage bobs can be very cute; either 1920s finger-waves where it's kept very close to your head or put rollers in for gorgeous fluffy hair. I have a look coming up ('Grace Kelly Hair') that I think will really suit you! x
I would love to see even shorter hair tutorials- if you have any friends with much shorter hair that wouldn’t mind. 😆 I have a bob that I literally cried after having the hair cut (the stylist had me facing away from mirrors and basically scalped me.. 😑 It’s grown out a bit but I would consider my hair long if it were your length at this point.. 😖)
I love watching all of these videos, even though I know I’ll never be able to do them. Which I know because I attempted the 1950’s ponytail from the Back To School video, and I managed to follow all of the steps, but my hair is cut at different lengths to look best when it’s curly which is always, so some strands were too short, and ALL of them were frizzy, messy curls that ended up making it look like a messy mistake, because I couldn’t get the hair to smooth and the flyaways were almost all of the fringe, so I couldn’t hide them. But if anyone has suggestions to follow these tutorials with naturally curly hair, including the rollers tbh because I love the soft curlers, I am open to suggestions!
Hello, I really want to do vintage hairstyles but do I need a bristle brush or is it fine if I use a normal brush? Because I noticed you use the bristle brush to straighten it out, I guess all I’m asking is if I can use a normal brush to brush out some of the curls. Thanks!!
your very welcome. glade to see your hands a lot better as well... can I just as the eye test you had in your other video what was it called ... plz and were di you have it done? I would not askif it was not imponted to do so
I’m going to buy some hairrollers for my hair but i’m pretty unsure of how many and the exact sizes. Is 30 mm for the little bigger ones and 25 mm for the smaller ones great or what other sizes? Do somebody have any tips?
Not to worry, my other hair videos will still look good for even much longer hair: ua-cam.com/play/PLhADVL2AiGX_p7-Mq2iScdvmIp1ajy2ps.html and of course I will make more as my hair grows! x
This is by far one of the best vintage hair tutorials I've seen and I've seen A LOT of them! Informative and fun in equal measure!
Oooh, I like the copper nail varnish. The hair is, as always, stunning.

"Kinsey 0" is the BEST way I have ever heard to describe straight hair! I'm definitely using that description from now on 😉
It gets even better when you tell people "the only part of me that's straight is my hair". lol
i love your styles ,your so clever and gorgeous
I do love the hair. It looks amazing on you.
Thank you :)
Love it! Thanks for uploading
Wowzers! Amazing! You're so talented. Thank you 💗🌼💗

I'm exhausted just watching this, let alone doing it! lol
Stopping to shake out my arms definitely helps!

I love itt!!!
Love it!!
Love this look Jessica!!! My hair is chin length all over (growing out) what vintage hair looks could I do?

ooh that would be lovely! I keep seeing finger-waves but I have no clue how to create them myself.

I wish I could try this but my hair is so thick 😓

What brush did you use after the tangle teaser? The brown one? Just bought that setting lotion and it's in my hair as I type. Hope I love it!

You've got the same link in the description for the bristle brush and the head jog

My hair is way too long for this hairstyle! :'(

Did you always love this style even when younger and are u self taught.
I've always, always loved vintage style! As a child i would put my hair in rags to get ringlets.
Which hair spray do you use? xx
When I go to look at the rollers on amazon it says that they are no longer available. Is there anywhere else that I can get the same sizes from?
If you're in the U.K., boots is epic
If you’re in the US, dollar stores are your friend :)
Can this keep overnight?
Name change?
Cedric Lucas - We noticed that as well...
Hi you two- I wasn't actually expecting Google to change it that quickly! I'm slowly changing everything to my married name 😊
Ahh! that makes more sense, I thought hayes was your married name ahha :)
