Loved watching your Active Root adventure, Martin, hehe. Those energy chews melting instead of chewing cracked me up! Glad to hear you felt great during your 18K, even with the surprise rain. Keep rocking those runs and testing new gear!
Thanks, Martin, for the Active Root review. Will check them out, although I still prefer natural foods especially after the Spring Energy controversy. That scenery and trail, including the river crossing, are awesome!
I was interested to hear about the chews ‘melting’ rather than having to be chewed! Like you I’ve used the Bloks but they do need chewing! Then some others can annoyingly stick to the teeth 😕. Might have to give them a go. I’ve used Active Root products before but it seems they’ve branched out a bit more now. Oh and loved seeing the wading… answered my question over on Strava …definitely quite deep, good job you didn’t slip on a rock! 😳
Thanks Wendy, I think they have a bigger range now than they used to. I was expecting that river crossing, it was cold initially but refreshing, in the end 😀 Hope your training is going well?

Thanks Mihai, aye the melty chews were pretty good, it's a shame I've finished them 😀
Hey Martin, again you are running in a nice place, very nice to watch in a video, nice footage: Thanks for the humble review about the Active root 👍
Thanks for watching Stelvio, it's always nice to try something new 😀
Glad to hear you've been enjoying the active root products Martin. I have been using them for years now and I think the whole range is great. 😎🤘
Cheers Ben, I've used lots of different brands in the past, so nice to try something else for a change 👍
Must give it a try, the chews/melts look very tempting 😋
Cheers Soupy, they were very easy to take on board & had a taste I wasn't expecting, nice & different 😀

Thanks Reto, I don't know if you get Active Root over your way? I'd give it a try if you do though 👍
@@TheDeterminedRunner Martin, it's available in the US through Alpkit.
@@RunFreeandStrong good to know 👍
I need some zing and pop in my runs! I might have to try these.
You're full of Zing & Pop I've heard 😜
