I downloaded the recovery image file by using the instructions in the video
But how to convert that recovery image to recovery stick
i have been waiting for this for years
Is there any advantage to using this method over the standard MS Windows factory reset/fresh Windows install? (Aside from the precise drivers and Razer software coming pre-installed)?
Now if only they would make a "Recover from USB stick" video. Their other video that purports to show this isn't very clear. It is like 1/2 way through the video they changed to a different method without making it clear that is what they were doing. I've got the image, still looking for a video on exactly how to use it properly.
if not through the description of this video,.. how could this be found ?!!??!?
i was trying to set up a blade13 after the hdd was wiped clean, and was searching for this solution for days.
This is gonna be fire💀
Can you download the recovery image if you are not the original owner?
Hacer esto porque la gpu de mi 3070 no pasa de 800hz y esta con recien mantenimiento
Anyone got this to work? The instructions don't make sense.
I extracted the recovery file from razer to my NTFS usb drive. Then after going to Create a recovery drive, it deletes everything on the drive to make a recovery drive from windows.

@@rzrsupport9502 I figured it out. A suggestion because I am sure many people will be confused as I am. Step 1 -3 should be Method 1, and the step four should be named Method 2 for non Razer Windows Recovery option. I was just following step 1-4 and made no sense and wasted a ton of time. Only to get a regular windows recovery option.
Thanks for the reply.
@@intelli_mw so just download and extract and then use the boot manager?
@@intelli_mw you are spot on... I discovered the same thing and wasted time.
@@intelli_mw The problem that I had with Method 1 is that when the laptop booted I got the Razer System Recovery pop-up dialog that said "Only support running under WinPE". So Method 1 doesn't work.
Doing this 2nd time in a 3 months time because of the integrated webcam not being detected by the system after updates

@@Shekiuszss Its working now but NOT with razer help... beasically its a software (drive) issue not hardware took me quite a while to fix the
@@Ymanuel12 how did you manage to fix it? I have the same issue on my blade 15. Device identifies as a USB camera and doesn’t work at all, this is after a forced windows update
@@rzrsupport9502 please please please launch a software update to correct this issue with the cams... Its a nightmare really paying thousands on a laptop and have issue on basic stuff
So the recovery image is a joke?
