Patrick, you and Kobus are a team, you work so well together... #1 fan, I realize putting on any show/episode is a lot of hard work, you do an amazing job you and your team. Be safe out there. Thank you for entertaining all of us.
Proper tools used properly are always used in your videos. Great respect for all you do. Just basic obedience methods have worked wonders on my rescue pit bull. She used to be leash reactive and destructive. In just a week I can confidently walk her outside around other dogs and people without her trying to chase or jump on everyone. She also quit trying to chew everything she could get her mouth on. At 1 and 1/2 years old I thought I would never get past that.
I would sit and watch your videos Garett especially those ones for hours and hours and never get tired from ! Thank you Garett, much Love from canada 🇨🇦
Love seeing training video's with Pat and Kobus and the progress they've made from day one. Kobus truly loves the camera just as much as Pat, they're just a perfect match as partners. Can't wait to see the next Kobus training video.
that jump at 8:20 wowed me honestly side of the car justtt catches his arm, but that catch is CRUCIAL and for the obstacle of a car it was a good work around
I got bite by 2 correctional dogs 🐕 when I was younger. OMFG says it all. I had half a telephone book in my sleeves. The force on these two Belgium shepards was insane. Ripped my jumper and bite marks through the pages. Plus, the second dog had the front of my foot. I had 4 stitches in my foot his bite went straight through the nike shoe. The guard had said I was lucky I put the yellow pages up my sleeve. Being a 5.4 55 kilo female, the dog could rip my arm off. But is trained to pull a person down and contain them. I have never been so scared in my life way more than human working dogs are no joke.
Just so you know, these dogs are actually not just pure Mals. These are x Malinois and x herdes being used. Purebred Belgian Malinois bread for generation after generation get down to very fine boned dogs with very small narrow heads males are stretching it at 60 lbs. These bigger looking Malinois, much larger wider heads, wider muzzles, more muscle tone and a lot more size, this is what actually this trainer and many others have spoken about before they're really Shepherd blends. The Dutch & Eastern Europeans will out cross with working line German Shepherd, sometimes even American Pitbull Terrier, Mastiff, even Great Dane or collie and then breed back to Belgian or Dutch. They do this to increase size, head type, stability, they pack a lot more punch. Mals the only working breed that has an open. This means that these brn dogs if they resemble to breed enough, can then get FCI recognition and eventually AKC registration so they can be considered purebreds but they really are selectively bred working mutts. A lot of paper hanging also occurs when people want to get those FCI papers. I say this only because I've known people that have gotten Malinois and been very disappointed with the small size and then wonder why other people have Malinois that look entirely different. This is the reason why. The X Malinois, or I think they should call them X shepherds, is much preferred in my opinion obvious reasons. Nobody wants a 60 lb scrawny dog with a narrow snipey head for protection. Danny Craig an awesome Malinois breeder and an awesome man in general has actually spoken on this in a video on UA-cam dogumentary TV the shepherd with a pitbull heart. This is also what keeps the breed so incredibly healthy because of introducing other breeds and breeding back creates more diversity in genetics. In my humble opinion, I think they should open up the stud book the same way on the working line German Shepherd because it will improve health because excessive line breeding and inbreeding can limit genetics and workability. It's not to say that there are not some outstanding working line German Shepherds, but it would do the whole breed a lot of good to infuse x Malinois or x Dutch Shepherd and then breed back to German Shepherd. It will improve their health and also their Drive
Ive never understood how you can have a guy in the suit or with the arm, the dog sees his face and bites the shit of his arm. Later that same face doesnt have the suit on but the dog doesnt bite him. How does the dog know when dudes not wearing the suit that he shouldnt bite him
They're making a lot of things illegal where you are in Europe. Actually, the goal of corrections is to use the most minimal amount of force required. An e-collar used properly is the most effective and humane way to deliver a correction to your dog after you have talked them to the appropriate command or behavior. Unfortunately, because of the old-school e-collar methods, many people think that they are cruel. Modern e-collars are entirely different. With a tough dominant dog, a woman using a simple flat collar to restrain her reactive dog is not going to cut it. I have seen too many dogs euthanized because they deemed them aggressive or too reactive and only use positive training methods on them. Just like we teach our kids know and we reprimand them when they misbehave, the same should be done for dogs because they are intelligent creatures and are deserving of respect. I reiterate, in the United States there is a huge overpopulation of dogs that don't have homes. Most of these dogs get euthanized and red listed for aggressive behavior even with positive only methods. Balanced training can prevent a lot of unnecessary euthanasia of perfectly healthy dogs. I would encourage you to actually look up the studies on e-collar use. Most of them are biased and have not actually used truly reactive or aggressive dogs because they cannot be studied safely. also, most of these studies only show momentary distress in the dog, but do not actually follow up on the dog afterwards. There was one study done in New Zealand on 1604 dogs, bird dogs, that extensively studied e-collar use on them and then actually did follow-ups years and years later. The results found that there was no emotional harm done to the dogs and the dogs had great relationships with their handlers and were very happy healthy dogs. Lookup Ivan Balabanov who is a world-renowned Trainor and utilizes all quadrants of dog training and heavily emphasizes pay and positive reinforcement with his dogs. He also uses e-collars and he has spoken in length he put out a whole video talking about the studies and conclusions. I will find the video and post a link because it is probably the most comprehensive video on e-collar use and misinformation promoted by those that believe they are harmful.
Patty Mayos bounty hunting is actors. Very good actors though and they do very good acting production. ☺️ There are "real" bounty hunters in the US though, who hunt down people failed to meet in court or didn't pay their bail-out bills and so on. They are not police but might have worked earlier as police
Dog he gonna get killed if he ever sends it to bite someone, dog will just be put down since he doesn't have legal rights to assault people with a dog.
I like the fox files and patty mayo you guys are working together like a bail bond team I which that you guys can come to citrus country to catch some suspected I want to join on the hunt with you guys someday to help you guys catch some suspected someday.I like that you guys are working together like a bail bond team tow suspected vehicles to the bail bond office/tow yard with all of the suspected vehicles inside the tow yard and take suspected to the jail house.
How does the fact that Patty is or is not a performer or bounty hunter relevant? Its about training dogs not about Hollywood. This dog will need to perform reliably rather for camera or real life. Will need to follow commands, meet expectations and operate safely around crews of camera people and onlookers. The stakes are higher. God forbid the dog takes out a cameraman or extra, the lawsuit would be phenomenal.
Nice video, but you did not give the consideration that patty is an actor and real dogs with this work can and probably will be shot in such a situation, a doggie isn't a unharmable weapon, but reacts like we very very badly to knives, arrows, baseballclubs or even bullets.
The last thing you want to hear while a German shepherd chews your arm off is somebody saying "goooood boy" in your ear 😂
It’s funny how people get mad about these Patty Mayo videos I’m just happy it’s an American Standard Dog Training video
It would be cool if patty's videos were legit but they're completely staged. Good entertainment I suppose.
Staged or not, Patty doesn't seem wedged up his bum quite like Bounty Hunter D.

Why would you lower your stock by doing anything with the fool mayo.
Can bounty hunter legally use a dog?
Mayonnaise's show isn't real life bounty hunting. It is "reality entertainment..." key word.
What does bounty hunter in america means? Is he policeman or something similiar?
Patty Mayos bounty hunting is actors. Very good actors though and they do very good acting production. ☺️
