My goldy likes staying indoors away from the heat under a fan. An Aircon helps if it’s really hot. Clean fresh water changed a few times a day is necessary and she loves ice cubes!! Walks early morning and late evening as you mention. No groomers…. A good brush at home….!

I just got a golden puppy for the first time. He is 2 and a half months old and we have had him for 3 weeks. Thank you so much for your video they are helping a lot to avoid mistakes. I cannot wait for him to get rid of the fluffy puppy hair, even thou is cute I cannot wait for that gorgeous long hair they get later on. I brush him and clean his ear 2 time a week per doctors instructions and yeah his coat keeps most dirt away and bugs.

We would shave our goldens during the summer. They spent most of their time inside and only went outside to go on walks or go to the bathroom in the backyard.

@@goldenhearts8822 Hi, I have a tip for Golden Retriever owners. I live in a climate which is hot & humid. Goldens are prone to yeast infections, if they are not dried completely if they come into contact with water. After doing some research, I have found adding a tablespoon of Organic Apple cider vinegar to their drinking water, before a walk. So, after the walk, they will be obviously thirsty. The results have been tremendous, the acetic acid in the ACV kills any yeast. Thanks
