🙋🏼♀️ Let me know which one is your favorite surface to transfer?
Wood 😁😁👌🏻
I was impressed with the transfer to all the surfaces, however the ones I liked best were the glass, fabric, and metal transfers. Awesome technique! Thank you so much.
thank you Barbara 🧡
I know I'm kinda randomly asking but does anyone know a good site to watch new series online?
@Samuel Ulises i would suggest flixzone. You can find it on google =)
You have changed my life. I'm in a long line of craft people.
Hello Nitsa, after leaving my other comment I realized back in 2012-2014, I purchased a photo transfer digital download and I'm almost positive it was from YOU because your name is unique. I hope I saved it and can find it. Glad to see you still creating art and teaching these techniques. All the best!
I love seeing transfers onto fabric. Thanks!
Hello , this was a cool video to watch. I preferred the wood transfers, gives the pictures a vintage looking vibe. Thank you, for sharing this beautiful craft.
Just ordered my pen because it’s so much easier than the other transfer methods
I like this alternative look at transferring images. Thanks Nitsa.
Hi Nitsa, I've been working on a project for my stepdad for MONTHS. I do not have a circuit and really don't want to purchase one. I'm doing a 3d picture of his flag and multilayer with another background. Anyway I have a beautiful poem I've been wanting to put on the glass and I've been trying out so many methods that I almost gave that idea up until I found your video today. So, I will be going to the store today to get the supplies! I will update you and keeping my fingers crossed!
They are all beautiful but I believe I liked the transfer to metal the best.
Thank you! 💚 That's good to know 😊
Wonderful examples and variety of transfer options. Thank you!☺
Thank you for taking the time to make this educational video, it was just what I was looking for.
Sweet! Glad it was helpful!
😢
Hi, Nitsa. While it works, it is important to share how toxic those markers are. It's why they've fallen out if favor. I would treat them like an airbrushing chemical and wear a respirator or work outside with a good cross ventilation. The MSDS includes:
Skin Corrosion - Category 1B
Reproductive Toxiity - Category 2
Hazardous to the Aquatic Environment - Acute - Category 1
Hazardous to the Aquatic Environment - Chronic - Category 1
Skin Irritation - Category 2
Flammable Liquid 3
Eye Irritation - Category 2
Oh wow 😲 thank you so much for this information Sally! 💚
I wanted to ask which chemicle worked best ? I use acetone to clean my paint brushes and have it on hand. Although we should warn people not to use it on synthetic material .
* I did my nails in a rush and further messed them up dressing for a party. while wearing a pretty dress made of acetate I attempted to fix my nails and well that was an extremely bad idea...the acetone spilled on my lap and it smoldered and burnt a hole the size of the huge spill...I never forgot that I was so upset haha to be 15 with the biggest worry was being late for a party. 🙄Any way knowledge doesn't become wisdom till we give it away. Acetone is not safe on synthetic material. Use 100%cotton.
Hi Sally Lynn; Nitsa did say that good ventilation is required because they are chemicals, but thank you for sharing all of the MSDS report on the markers. B
@@BarbaraEMarshallCampbell yep. She's awesome.
Would I be able to create a drawing with either a pencil or ink pen and then transfer it to sheet metal with a blender pen? Or does it have to be from a lazer printer? Also, will any printer work if I can't use a pen or pencil drawing? Thank you, I really love what you do!!!
Thanks! I love these ideas - especially the fabric. I wouldn't be able to use toluene as a refresher due to migraines, but I found a glycerin/distilled water/alcohol solution that I will try when my blending pen goes dry.

I am thailand very very respect.
Maybe I should change my channel's name 😅
I liked the fabric and glass. Gave me great ideas for Christmas. Thank you for sharing.😊
Thanks for this. Im always glad to find a solution to something when others say "It cant be done."👍
You bet! Thank you 💛🌼
Perfect video! I needed a way to transfer words to fabric and this is perfect! My question is will this smear or come off if fabric is washed or gets wet in any way. Thank you!
Hi! I am a ceramic artist that would like to take family photos and transfer them to ceramic surfaces. Is there a way to take an image, apply to bisque ware and then low fire in a kiln to make it permanent? Loved your demo video. Have never seen this technique before!
Love it. Thank you so much for sharing this info. Much appreciated. Regards from Sydney. Australia
Beautiful technique I do intaglio printmaking and now I know a way to transfer my illustration onto a metal plate to then go over it in dry point etching.
What a creative way to use this process!
@@NitsaCreativeStudio It is indeed I normally use plexi glass and simply trace over the image with my etching tool but now I can use metal because you showed how to transfer images to metal. Its perfect.
Thank you, this is amazing… ❤️
Best metal tutorial yet! Can you do these with an inkjet printer?
This specific method works with laser only, but there are plenty of other transfer methods that can work with inkjet, such as gel medium.
I love the cars on the wood. Its amazing how detailed the image transfered.🏎🚙🚕🚗
🖊🧪🌡I will go on the hunt for xylene so I can try all the things you did in the video.🎞🍶🥂☕️
🌹🌹🌹Thank you so much for sharring. 🙏🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I will also try if it works on seashells and Cans 🐚🛢
Again 💕THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARRING💕
🤲🏼🌸🌿💗💚🌸🌿💗💚🌸🌿💗💚🌸🌿💗💚🌸🌿💗💚
I think this one wins the most emoji used comment award 🏆Thank you Linda 🥰
Love this technique. Looks really easy to do. I tried the packing tape technique on a glass vase. I did not love it. I am looking for a photo transfer technique to use on glass mason jars for a wedding. I will transfer a color photo. My question is will the blender pen technique work easily on mason jars, and will the images be permanent? The bride wants to repurpose the mason jars as drinking glasses following the wedding. Thank you.
Thank you, Nitsa.
💚
Beautiful. All of them were amazing. Love from India.
Thank you so much 💚
Awesome! My favorite surface is on fabric. Thanks for sharing 😍🌴
Thank you 💚 The fabric is definitely fun!
I love your tutorial! I enjoyed each transfer. You have a good taste! Especially your photography! I love trees as well!
Do the transfers wash off or fade when washed?
The transfer on ceramic mug- was it any plain mug from dollar store or sublimation mug?
On the cotton fabric, will the transfer wash off?I will appreciate your feedback!
I just subscribed! I would keep visiting!🦋
Thank you so much! 🧡 The transfer doesn't wash off the mug but its always a good idea to protect with some moisture resistant stuff that is suitable for dishes. As far as the fabric goes, I'm not sure, I think it will be okay but of course further testing is needed. And I actually got the mug from dollar tree 👍
Loved the glass
Also the info on blender pen! Thank you
Thank you Sherrilyn (what a beautiful name!) 🧡🌼
Hello Nitsa; and friends;
I saw a comment about the image transfer holding up in the washer on the fabric: ADD 1 cup of vinegar to your RINSE cycle OR…you can add a half cup of salt to the WASH cycle.
--Inquiring Minds want to know!!!
Thank you Tina for this suggestion, I might test it one of these days 🤗
Wonderful! Thank you for sharing! ❤️
💚💙🧡
Wood surface was my favourite
This is so awesome!!!! I am going to transfer my digital art to my art notebook. Thank you! I wonder if it works with Ink Jet printers?
This particular process works with laser only, but I have many inkjet processes on my channel so feel free to check them out: Inkjet transfer: ua-cam.com/play/PLVXvj790IYcOPzLXYix-HUUNdroVYwuMo.html
Thank you 🥰
Thank you for sharing, everything was beautiful ☺️
Thanks for watching!
Such a fun watch!
Thank you Sivan 💚
Also does this work with both ink jet and laser printers?
Unfortunately, the blender pen doesn't work with inkjet prints but check out some other of my videos where I use inkjet prints for photo transfer 👍
Brilliant video, totally new to this but could you use a ink jet printer ? Sorry if it’s a bit of a dumb question lol
Wow them all is amazing. I been trying to figure a way to transfer things 🤔 without a machine--Or anything
I hope this one works for you! Thank you Laura 💛🌼
You just saved my life!!
Cute! Are you working on a project?
LOVE ALL!!
Haha thank you! 😘
Are all the images transferred in this video printed on Laser printer? Have you tried this with ink jet printed images? Thank you.
Can you also do this technique with aceton and inkjet prints?
Love it! Thank you!
🧡💛🌻
Hi! Thank you for the video. I would like to try this method on a large surface and I'm afraid the pens would take too long. Do you think I could use a paint brush with acetone?
Yes, absolutely! Check out this video to see how to transfer your image with 100% acetone: ua-cam.com/video/8LaQvVb-Qo4/v-deo.html
Great ideas! I notice all your images are in black and white. Does this work equally well with color? I'm most interested at the moment on transferring to fabric. And does the fabric have to be cotton - will it work on polyester? Thanks!
Yes, you can transfer from color but the images do tend to be a little faint. As far as transferring to fabric I didn't have much luck with anything else but cotton, but maybe there are ways to prepare the surface for other type of fabrics, I'm not sure.
I can’t wait to try this!
Go for it!! 👍
Hello 😊 the design Will get waterproof in fabric? Or If I wash it Will go away?😅 Thank you very much 😊
Will this work with ink jet images??
Have you transferred with this method on clay? Great video with lots of info. Thank you.
I found a better method to transfer onto clay! watch for the next video
My favorite one has to be the wood 😍
I love it too 😃
I love this!! You are so fun to watch!! ❤Can I transfer on painted wood?
Good question! I think it should work fine on stained or lightly painted wood.
Will thish work on a kiltz wood primer. Thank you so much for your videos im learning soo much.
Fantastic, thank you
Glad you liked it!💙
Nitsa I don't have a laser printer can I use inkjet for all of these?
hello thank you for your video, I would like to order the pen and the refill, but I can't find where to order on your site, could you give me the procedure to follow? Thanks a lot. greetings 🌸
Chartpak blender marker: amzn.to/2WIwNgX
Hi Nitsa, the metal is beautiful..for the chemically sensitive, could you substitute essential oil in to a blender pen? It seems like you were able to achieve transfer onto these same surfaces with the essential oils? Would it make more eco sense to use that? thanks.
Yes you can! 👍
@@NitsaCreativeStudio essential oils aren't 100% eco friendly, the amount of raw plant materials it takes to make the oil is pretty high so all of the water and energy it took to grow the plant is a byproduct of using the oils. Not trying to be a nay sayer. For children ingesting certain essential oils is more poisonous than ingesting acetone.
Am Yisroel Chai. Beautiful job. Does the transfer rub off? Does it need a sealing spray?
Can you use acetone on a cotton swab instead of the blender pen? I don't want to use the pen. Thanks! Take care.
Yes, absolutely! check out this video: ua-cam.com/video/8LaQvVb-Qo4/v-deo.html
Bonjour et merci Nitsa pour toutes vos astuces précieuses. Peut on utiliser ce marqueur avec des images imprimées à jet d'encre?
Thank you Veronique 🥰 Unfortunately the blender pen only transfers the toner from laser prints or photocopy machine, but not inkjet.
Can you use inkjet? I like the glass and frame idea
This particular process doesn't work with inkjet
Hello. I love the metal surface. Is it possible to transfer color on metal pieces for jewelry?
Thank you,
Maggie
Yes you can, but from my experience color transfers turn out somewhat faded.
Will this work on latex painted wood?
Thank you for your kind response.
Since you have made these transfers, would you try if the transfer on the fabric washes off? So we know?
Thank you!🌿
Great idea! I'll give it a go soon 👍
Be sure to iron the image into the fabric, also called setting the image onto the fabric, before attempting to wash with dark fabrics in cold water. Hope that is helpful. B
Hi.. what kind if paper do you use ?
I print on standard copy/printer paper 👍
Was the cotton fabric you used prewashed please? Is the transfer permanent, that is, is it fast if you wash it? Great video, thanks
I hand wash the fabric and so far it looks fine. I'm not at all an expert on fabric but I think if you're going to wash it regularly it might be a good idea to heat-set the transfer or use fabric medium to seal it. Just an idea!
Hi Nitsa, thanks for the tutorial. I intend to use it for my artwork (transfer to glass) and then paint on the top, I will know the result when I do but still if you know as I am wondering about the durability of the transfer. Does it fade with time (indoors).
Sounds great! So far none of my artwork which is displayed indoors has faded. If you use paint you probably should seal it with a suitable clear finish.
Thank you for this. Will the images transferred to glass wipe off? As well with the mug?
If you give it enough time to dry and set ( a couple of days) it will not wipe off. But its always a good idea to seal it with a protective acrylic varnish or spray, especially if its going to come in contact with moisture.
@@NitsaCreativeStudio ok, thank you!
thank you for these detailed demonstrations. I have a Brother printer and none of these techniques work. In your hardware description, you indicate a Brother laser printer. is it with this that you manage to make the transfers? thanks again
I have both an HP LaserJet and a monochrome Brother laser printer and I use both.
Just in time for Christmas!. I love your work and will be making little hanging glass ornaments! Thanks Nitsa.
Sounds great! Good luck and happy holidays Christine 🎄💜💛🧡
I tried this on a inkjet and resin surface and it didn't work. So is it safe to say this method of transfer does not work with cured resin?
It should actually work on resin but it doesn't work with an inkjet printer.
Wow! It doesnt bleed too much on the fabric? Also, how many washes can it endure? Thanks for the tutorial!
No, it doesn't really bleed if you make sure to use just a little of the transfer medium. Honestly I'm not sure about the washes as I use my fabrics for making zipper bags (thats all I know how to saw 😅 ) but if I washed it I would probably hand wash it just in case.
@@NitsaCreativeStudio awesome possum! Thanks! Also...did you use inkjet or laser photocopy? Does it matter a Lot?
I like Tree To I glad I not long,I like your work
Thank you Rosa 💙🧡💛💜
Does the fabric need to be heated to keep it from fading?
I'm not sure.. I usually use my fabrics for zipper bags and none of them faded so far 👍
Yes, iron it into the fabric, wash in cold water with darker items, and that increases the permanence of the image by setting the ink.
Will this work on painted surfaces?
Excellent video! Was the colored image also laser printed or could one use ink jet with the same method? Thank you.
The color was a toner based photocopy so yes basically laser . If there's enough demand I'll make an inkjet transfer video 👍
I want to transfer an image on my kitchenaid mixer. Should I remove the outer layer of clear coat on the mixer before I transfer?
I'm not sure but I would opt to make a test transfer before taking such a step
Great video! Is there a way to make the fabric and ceramic transfer wash safe?
Its always a good idea to protect your transfers with some moisture resistant finish that is suitable for dishes. As far as the fabric goes, I'm not sure, I think it will be okay but of course further testing is needed. Thank you 🥰
I'm using a colour laser printer, so how many layers of toner do I need to make image transfers on the gel plate? I just bought your book from Amazon. I bought your new book that's coming Wednesday. Is this info in the book? Can you tell me what page it's on? Thanks! Take care.
Hi, if you're asking about gel printing laser photos, there's a whole chapter about the topic. As far as printing layers of toner I only print once 👍
I would like to know where to get the larger empty blender pen? I searched Amazon and did not find any. Thanks. Can't wait to try this method.
Hi Lonna, there are links to all the supplies I'm using, including the empty marker, below the video in the description area 👍
Empty markers were suggested in the video but since they are plastic would the xylene or acetone eat through them. I know that there are fabrics you cannot use acetone on. I spilled a little on knit fabric pants and it melted a hole through them. Is Xylene less likely to melt a fabric?
I’m doing toner to metal. I’ve been trying 100% acetone with NO luck, so am reluctant to try the pen as well. I’ve wasted so much money so far on things that don’t work. Anyone try to pen to use as a transfer solution to metal and then use an etching solution?
Hi Nitsa would this work on a hardback book art journal ect 😁
Yes I believe so 👍
What's best technique to transfer yellow lettering on black spray painted metal ?
I would use the basic laser or inkjet transfer method using a transfer medium such as gel medium 👍
My image is not good visible. I use a very large marker. There is a lot of toluene coming out. Could that be the issue that it solves a lot of the photo ? And not coming reversed on the glass. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Not sure I understand the question... You can write it in Dutch, and I'll use a translator and hopefully can figure out your question 👍
Hi, I was wondering if the print on the glass would work well for colored photos aswell?
Yes it works with color photocopies but keep in mind that color, especially on glass, might turn up a less than clear and contrasty transfer.
Can this be done with an image printed with an inkjet printer?
As far as I know the blender pen doesn't work with inkjet printed images.
What is the brand name of the blender pen? I went to 2 craft stores, but they did not have any. Need one to create a transfer on an inflated balloon. Thank you
Hi Catherine, there's an affiliate link to this pen and other supplies under the video 👍
Hi! I love your videos! Would the blender pen work with color images or just black and white?
It works great with color laser photocopies as well 👍 check out 0:42 in the video
Isn’t nail polish remover acetone?
Yes it is, however some nail polish removers have less than 100% acetone, so you need to make sure you get the pure remover 👍
Same question about the coffee cup ... does it wash off?
The transfer doesn't wash off the mug (let it completely set for 24 hours) but its always a good idea to protect with some moisture resistant stuff that is suitable for dishes.
The ceramic cup needs to be sealed with an appropriate sealer like a clear acrylic spray (I like Crystal Clear) or something like Mod Podge dish washer safe sealer.
Also it's not food safe so it's a good idea to transfer and apply sealer to areas that don't come in contact with food or drink.
Great work, very much appreciated ypyr video and work 🙏Is this suitable for leather?
Thank you 🌷 It might work on leather but I haven't tried it myself. Please let me know if you do test it.
@@NitsaCreativeStudio I was curious if the chemical mite effect it.. Ill give it a try and let u know 🙏
Super! Thank you 👍
@@NitsaCreativeStudioone more thing please.. Can you be so kind to spell the name of the chemical used in the blender pen pls 🙏
@TnStrading please check under the video in the description box. There is a list of all products used in the video with links 👍
Do you seal the items you put your images on
Yes I usually do
What is the stick for- is it to get the picture off the printer paper better? Ordered the empty markwes and picking up zylene tomorrow. Excited to try this
markers
Yes, the bone folder helps the image transfer from the paper to the surface 👍 Good luck 🥰
What is the kind of marker which you used on paper to transfer the image???
I used a blender pen. please look below the video for all the supplies used in the video 👍
On ceramic, do you spray it afterwards with a sealant spray?
I do especially if I'm going to use it as a coaster or anything that might come in contact with moisture 👍
I have tried this method several times and cannot get anything close to the results show here and other videos! Help, please, any other suggestions? I'm using laser prints printed at my public library, on regular paper. 100% acetone does perform any better.
The only thing I can think of is that your library does not use a toner based (or laser) printer. Try a photocopy from a copy center like office Depot if you're in the USA
If you are using printer ink what stops it washing off like on the cup or fabric do you have to seal it in some way?
You can seal it of course, it's always a good idea, but I find that it doesn't just wash off with water. In fact, it's hard to scrub it off and you probably need acetone to remove it.
@@NitsaCreativeStudio Thank you for your reply just one last thing if you do not mind! has it got to be from a laser printer or could I use an inkjet printer?
Yes this particular process works with laser or toner based photocopies but not inkjet
@@NitsaCreativeStudio Thank you.
Does this work on inkjet too?
The blender pen works only with a laser or toner-based photocopy but not with inkjet
I bought these specific blender markers, based on this video, to try a transfer to glass but I had no luck! I don't know what I'm doing wrong! I did all steps and techniques as instructed but still no luck. Help!
Please make sure you are using a laser photo as inkjet print does not work with Chartpak blender marker.
Thank you very much for your reply! I did use a laser printer as suggested since you emphasized it having to be a laser. How lightly or heavily are you using the pen? Are you barely covering the surface or are you saturating the printout? Maybe that's my problem?
You don't need to soak it, just enough to make the image visible from the back. Did you try testing and transferring to paper instead of glass?
I only tried glass because it is a gift for a friend and I she would really love the same idea you did with your transfer to glass project. I will try it other ways and hopefully I will have better luck. Thank you very much!
What tyoe of pen u use???
