You're talking about Tempura style ice cream though. This is different. It's Mexican and or Mexican-American fried ice cream with different ingredients. I've had a lot of both. This is way better in MOST cases and it's so simple.

I remember we had deep fried ice cream in Bali for dessert and it was FREE ! Obviously we gave them tips since the staff in the restaurant were really nice and I mean how could you have this amazing delicacy for free ?! It was an interesting experience for sure !

My parents, especially my mum, became good friends with one of the hotel's manager and the rest of the staff, so our rooms are often upgraded whenever we come. I wish it wasn't so far from where we are now. I can't wait to go back and hopefully bring my next partner there. :)
Growing up is a little girl. We had an authentic Mexican restaurant in a small town in North Carolina and one of my favorite waiters who was like a father to me was from Mexico and he used to go out of his way to make this for me even though it wasn't ever on the menu. He even made me and my friends a few of them for my third birthday along with a big teddy bear that he bought me. So this video brought back a lot of memories that I haven't thought about for a while. Thank you so much. 🥹❤️ I'm now 27 and would love to make this for my kiddos. ❤️
The restaurant I used to work at had fried ice cream on the menu for a time. I believe they used crushed honey bunches of oats for the coating. They would also keep balls of ice cream (just smaller than the ones in the video) frozen solid, flash fry them for a some odd seconds, and then top it with cinnamon sugar, caramel and served it with a churro-like thing. It was one of my all time favorite desserts!

I used to eat fried ice cream. At that time there was a cafe shop not far from my house and they made one of the best fried ice cream I have ever had before. Although it took place long time ago, I still remember the sweet flavour of durian and the crunchy itself

The way my family makes this is with cinnamon toast crunch or conflakes mixed with cinnamon, and then we drizzle a little honey on top. It's a very good combo!
