What you forgot to show on this vid was the fact that the Chicago guys spent 45 minutes prepping their lane for the race while leaving the competitors lane un-prepped. Which was shown on the TV program. Also the fact that you pussed out on the rematch in Ok.

We have 2 pro mod cars in my family. One is a 6 second blown Brad Anderson Engine, the other is a 7 second Livernois Turbo. Both cars would spank the OKC boys on a fully prepped lane. But neither car would stand a chance against OKC on an un-prepped street race.

Cameron Merryman They have to pass show requirements which obviously the cars did. That is what a lot of LA guys were complaining about. That their fastest cars couldn't pass show requirements. Almost none of the OKC cars are allowed on the street. Pro Street died a long time ago.

LOL ! I was buying what you were saying and thought it was just typical Hollywood. BUT ,when the episode actually aired it became very obvious there was another side to the story. The race between "Fluff" and Daddy Dave was a joke and nothing more. If you were going to prep for the entire length of the course you should have made this clear to OKC prior to them coming to Chicago. Since you had to resort to such trickery you obviously felt you were at a disadvantage. Tell me, what would have been wrong with a even playing field ? Then you obviously lied about your "gig" and couldn't even name the event ! COME ON GUY ! As for the OKC guys refusing to race in the rain WHO could blame them ? The guys who came to OKC from Chicago were a great bunch of guys who played fairly and were both gracious winners and losers. You may have Dave's $ and you can say that you won the race as you played it but you can't say that what you did was right by any means. People like you give your entire city a bad name.

You failed to answer my initial questions and contradicted yourself. AGAIN I ask why you did not tell OKC you were going to prep the course in the manner you did BEFORE they came to Chicago so they could prepare to do the same ? The reason you did so is that you obviously wanted a advantage that you would not extend to the competition. SO are you saying in your most recent comment "I posted this video almost a year before discovery aired the episode" that at the time you were unaware that discovery would air a episode that may expose your lies and you would not have made a deceptive video if had such knowledge ? Racing in the rain is absurd as even you know and OKC, Daddy Dave, was wrong to have done so. Yes, he agreed and lost but obviously if he had been told prior to leaving OKC that you were going to prep the entire course he would have had the option to do the same and the outcome may have been different. Instead you chose to be sneaky about the whole deal prior to the race and in this video as well. Now you are attempting to save face with more deception. Is it true or not true that you had a "gig" on the day in question when you were to race in OKC ? IF it were true and you did have a "gig" was the episode in question where you were talking over the phone with Big Chief accurate when discovery aired that you were unable to give a name for the event when they claimed nothing was scheduled for the day in question ? Bottom line here is that someone is telling a lie. There is no question of your deception and lack of fairness prior to the race in Chicago but there are still other questions that could prove you are truthful in regard to the "gig". If it has been a year since the posting of your video prior to the episode on discovery why have you not made attempts to right the wrong ? I have no reason to defend anyone here but as I said earlier I was buying what you were selling and now it appears that you were selling lies, half truths and deception and don't want to right the wrong. First off..
Okc knew we were prepping before they came to chicago because both sides agreed to prep any way they wanted via a phone call 2 weeks prior... Hence why chuck said he had 20 gallons of vht.
Keywords : 20 (and) gallons...
They only race 660 feet.. 20 gallons is enough to do the whole lane which, the agreement was ... okc had lane choice, but, once chosen, that would be the lane for the night.
Did they know we had a home built glue trailer? No... we thought it would be a funny thing to do on TV. PLUS...they told us the production crew would only give us 15 mins to prep...
On the show...chief said it took us 90 mins = lie.
It wasn't really raining at the time of the race... but, a few drops were falling, obviously it wasn't that bad... I made it down just fine... and "the rain" was in bith lanes, not just daves = OKC lie #2
After I beat dave... they packed up and left. Telling us that race would never air... okc lie #3
However, we believed them... so, I made this video to bust their balls about it.
The race happened in season 2... filmed in October 2013.
I tried doing a rematch in st louis in june 2014... but, okc diched the set... I was out $3000 and 2 days of my life for that trip.
I they called Heyosteve ( a guy from Chicago... yes... but, not part of the original group that I was racing with) and asked him to bring cars to okc (which were slower than the original group)
I told steve and chief I couldn't go because of work...so, chief knew this weeks before the phone call you saw on tv... which, they didn't tell me was being recorded ( illegal? ) annnnd was 20 mins long.. yet, only 18 seconds of it made tv.

Chicago guys sprayed the HELL out of their lane with a pull behind lane prep sprayer for the whole length of the road. They should have sprayed both lanes.
What surprises me most is that people think this is actually an illegal race and not a highly produced show on a closed off section of the street. Half the suspense they build on the show is based on the BS idea that they might get busted by the cops when no doubt there are cops just up the road blocking traffic.
But the racing is real
I wouldn't be too sure about that. I have seen more then a few races on that show that come out very conveniently for the story-lines. Not saying all the races are fake. or even that I know any are, but it would not surprise me

Also since it's a show they probably have someone who checks to make sure all the cars a safe and not a death trap before they race. Other then that it's an actual street race so the road aren't Prepped if you watch the entire show from the beginning none of the races took placed on on a prepped surface till Chicago.... so if it's a story line Chicago looks like a bunch of wusses, Chitowns racers should start clearing their name how it a bunch of fake races just so they can save face, but I bet they won't because they would get sued for defamation
yea they stopped all the drama about getting caught on race night last season. everyone knows that on race night they have a designated road and have been givin permission to race.

I forget the city but one of the road trips the city refused to issue a filming permit. And due to legal liability Police, Fire etc are provided to prevent cars from wondering into the area and just in case. If someone outside of the show got hurt that would be huge lawsuit against the Drivers of the cars, Pilgram Productions, Discovery Channel and the City that they are "racing" in. The show has made these guys SOME money but it has gotten them ALOT of freebee products such as engines, trans and stuff that companies are throwing at them to get their stuff seen on the show. I heard the first season that they only got a few thousand each car for each show..

Unlike Larson who literally drove and pulled a trailer with his record setting truck. MOST drag cars are not actually streetable. The okc guys also have track cars. Notice they do not drive to race night. Trailer queens all of them. In fact they race at tracks all the time. Years since they had a legit street race. As the show gets permits and closes the roads down for the show. And Tuff just claims he was faster then they were. He won. He got paid. So at least faster than the 405. And they tested. They could have prepped. They have the equipment to do it as well. You do realize they have a faux reality TV show. Not real life there.

It's one thing to do a burnout in some VHT. It's another to prep every inch of the road. Street racing is about making power stick on a shitty surface and not getting arrested doing it. In the spirit of the history of the game, you should not be prepping a lane just because you're on a show and the cops are cool with it. Making power on a prepped track proves nothing. You can make your bets and passes at the track if you're going to do that.

You're correct about them putting the money they made from the show into their cars but they had the fastest street cars title before the show was ever made up that's the reason why discovery gave okc the show.

+steve donovan No prep don't mean you can't use bleech, VHT, Dr Pepper, resins or various liquids in no prep street or drag strip racing. A lot of street and drag strip racers use STC Strip Grip, that helps you lay more rubber down where you will start at. No prep is no test runs!!! Some folks just don't understand what no prep means. It means absolutely NO test runs on the road where you are racing. Testing those racing areas allow you to make necessary adjustments to the race car to get down that particular road surface under the now conditions of the road. Road conditions constantly change by temperature and or moisture in the air. NHRA rules allows the teams to prep bc of constant changing of conditions. Street racers don't bc it takes up to much time. And prep racing can be very costly and unfair to street racers that can't afford the equipment nor how to even use it. Street drag racing has always been NO NO NO prep. The tune up up for street racers is the most important part of street racing. That is the exact reason all those guys use lap tops to adjust how much NOS and Boost comes in and when on their cars. To much and you lose, to little and you lose....

The street outlaw girls show is heavily edited though. Their races have no less then 50 plus cut scenes and NEVER a straight video of a race .

Len H I agree with you and have posted that on numerous Street Outlaw videos. Show at least one clip of the race without a cut from start to finish. There's never been a drag racer street or strip that hasn't loss a race.
Chicago has had serious strong running street race cars since the 50's. I did this exact same thing for over 20 years. The cars where obviously slower back when I did it but the bullshit talk, the techniques and the strategies are still the same we used years ago. It goes much deeper than just having a fast car. No, I'm not from Chicago or anywhere close to OKC.

And no "drag week" cars are not "street cars"... they are million dollar "purpose built" cars that drive from track to track.

Different racing altogether but true street cars. Tuff and all the OKC guys, except for Farmtruck, have "Race cars" tuned for racing on non prepped street surfaces . Don't let the title and their claims full you. They are NOT true street cars. At least Tuff is up front about it. Serious unbiased question for you Tuff... Do you think with enough test and tune time, you could beat Daddy Dave on a 100% non prepped street? Your car is a beast but so is the Sanoma. I will prep as I see fit... and I expect my opponent to do the same. When the race is over... and I win.. I dont want to hear any excuses. Im a "do what you need to do" kind of racer.

lol i recognize that road, i drove down it at 3 AM on a golf cart drunk with the guy that owns the land that CLS is on. we also went out on the golf carts around the track at 4AM lol the nascar officials were PISSED and threatened to have us hauled off in cuffs...man...good times!

I love the show and I am from Chicago and used to do some racing in the south burbs out on central back in the day. Lemme tell you this video was not edited by Discovery so I feel its hard to take. All I want though is to see Daddy Dave cry like the little baby he is and loose loose loose. The rest of the bunch seems pretty cool.
