No cuts no editing that’s too noticeable. Love that about this video at least in this type of video. Reviewing products. Best video review of these types of vacuums in a while
Thank you! I try to keep editing to a minimal amount so the results of my tests can’t be faked or flawed. I put list of my work into the actual content of the video itself
The V11 did better than even I expected. Personally I say it's pretty much a tie between the V11 and the Animal 3. Since their brush roller motors are inside the roller so we don't have the belt trail/line of shame.
I have been searching, researching, watching videos, learning everything I can about the new vacuum I am going to buy. This test is fantastic and you did an amazing job. You helped me with my confusion, indecision and worries... will go with the Dyson Animal Ball 3. Thanks!!! I wish you could do other ones like this with the Shark duo.
The U.K. has had the new cleaner head for 5 years or so; they are an order of magnitude better than the previous one, and makes for an incredibly good vacuum cleaner generally.
@@charlesrodriguez7984 I think the design where it has considerably more suction at the cleaner head makes up for the reduced agitation, so yea it definitely cleans very well.
Dillon, you made me buy an Animal III. I love it! Now I want to buy either the V12 Detect Slim or V15 Detect to my Animal III as a side kick. I prefer the size and functionality of the V12 Detect, but is the V15 significantly more powerful? I want a stick vac with super strong suction for car cleaning and the in-between cleans.
The v12 looks really cool but nobody has put out a review on it so it’s hard to give a full assessment on it. I’m sure it’s great since it’s a Dyson product. But the v15 will be better in nearly every way. But the v12 will most certainly be powder filled and still lightweight. I would personally go with the v15 since it’s a tried and true vacuum and I know it’s gonna work flawlessly
Are you still keeping the animal 2, I rather prefer. Nice dyson vacuum cleaners. Sometimes dyson ball animal 3 looks good like hard floors. Keep it up 👏
I will be keeping the animal 2 because it’s a fantastic carpet vacuum. The animal 3 does do better on hard floors but it’s carpet performance is also outstanding
Good video! Looking for a vacuum for my mom... but wondering why the animal 2 is more money than the 3? According to your video, the 3 is not only a better vacuum but a better buy! Thanks!
Go for the animal 3 out of these machines here. But depending on her circumstances I would also recommend you look into a shark vertex. Both are fabulous vacuums but I prefer the vertex in almost every way
Looking back at this video I am shocked that the animal 2 did bad. I feel like the agitation of the animal 2 is to much for this rug. I think it would do the best though on the pile carpet.
@@alexamador6185 The V11 was in its normal auto setting which adjusts the suction depending on the type of flooring its cleaning. In auto mode, battery life lasts between 25-50 minutes
Yes that’s what I have noticed. The animal 3 is certainly a little harder to push. But it cleans better. The animal 2 Is still really good thoigh. So if you have mostly carpets and don’t mind cleaning hair off the brushroll, I’d stick with the animal 2. But if you want better carpet cleaning. Better hard floors cleaning. And anti hair wrap brushroll, stick to the animal 3. You could also move the slider on the cleaner head to the thick pile carpet setting in case you haven’t yet. It will make it easier to push.
@@DillonCleans I think I'm going to keep the 3 because the cleaning head seems much less failure prone than the 2. The 2 has longer bristles and seems to agitate better, but the 3 probably spreads the carpet open wider given the width of the brushroll.
They would be almost the same but the animal 2 still did better on the sand. After this video I wanted to move all the the debris I picked up into the animal 2. When I was picking it up, I realized how much more of a mess and hassle the animal 2 made it with all that agitation. But still a great performer on regular carpet

Such a good pickup test with all the different materials 👏🙌

Wow! Great Job!! Love ❤️
the ball animal 2 agitation is still to this day mind blowing
Too bad the animal 3 doesn’t have the same amount of agitation. It doesn’t seem to clean terribly on carpet despite having less agitation.
@@charlesrodriguez7984 I think the design where it has considerably more suction at the cleaner head makes up for the reduced agitation, so yea it definitely cleans very well.
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa suction doesn’t clean only airflow. Suction is static air pressure. Airflow is moving air.
@@charlesrodriguez7984 you know what I mean

Nice video and test! The animal 3 definitely has less agitation so I see it leaving more dirt in the carpet but still cleans well.
From what I’ve seen and experienced, it’s cleaned as good or better than the animal 2
@@DillonCleans good 👍 i still would pick the animal 2. Ease of push is good unless I get a new carpet that it would hate.

I think the animal 3 would do best on the pile carpet but who knows 🤷♀️
Wait so the cordless held its own that well? In some areas it looks like the V11 even beat both the other two vacuums.
I was super surprised too!!! At least on this low pile carpet, it did super well. Also love your name lmao!
