Thanks Michael.. I don't normally attack thing I don't full understand, but this had to be done.. Cheers

Brilliant vlog keV a know your pain parts being expensive new power steering pump for my camper and my cars timing belt and service 800 quid sore one this week Mrs P not impressed am in the dog house see ya in the next one 🏴👍👍😎
Hi ya Bud.. Motoring is not cheap.. My Dad always told me, "Look after the car, the car will look after you".. They wanted £1200 at the garage to do what I just did. and It cost me £100 for parts and time out to get them.. Just serviced her as well, oil oil filter, air filter and Fuel filter £75. Hope shes good for quite some time to come.. Cheers
What a palava , not sure that I would have attempted that, everything is so complicated to fix these days, and that computer stuff 😮 ford are robbing barstools, I just hope i never have that issue 🤞🏻
Glad to see you back though 👍
For an Old block like me...?? That was bloody hard to do.. But now i'v done it,, it was quite easy..
wow well done, i thought injectors had to be pulled out with 10 ton of force.
If you have an old Vivaro you might not even get them out lol
Thank Eugene. I thought that too, last injector I did was on mk3 transit, and you can snap them off.. But I was shocked how easy these came out.. Cheers
Hi Bud.. Never even had a look at a vivaro engine.. So I have put that on the list of "Not to Do" list.. cheers
Hi womble, I’ve met you a few times at the Statford
Shows, hope your well! I think I have the same issue as you. With my 2.4 it starts fine and runs but after a few mins sometimes you can hear a murmur when it idles and if you rev you can hear a noise like loose tappets on a cold 90’s petrol engine (if that makes sense?). I changed the glow plugs and the Prv and scv, also the fuel filter and checked the tank filter etc. it does start better now but after the pump relearns i tried the injector pilot relearns and three times now it won’t complete. The smoke is mainly a bit white when is starts and smells like unburnt diesel. When it’s warm after I attempted the relearns I took it for a quick spin it goes a bit smoky and twice now it basically won’t rev over 3000rpm when driving. I’ve tried checking the pressures in the rail and the injector values but how did you know that your injector was bad on forscan? Also I have heard you need to put a genuine Ford fuel filter on otherwise you suck air into the system. Please help lol 😝
Also did you reseat the copper washer with the cutting tool? Also having trouble updating the PCM. Apparently you need to do this to be able to remove the glitch of the water in fuel code… thanks mate
The wombles of Wimbledon common are we..
Haahaha. Just me
Hope ur well bud
Yes Bud.. all good here

As you can see in video..? It all worked for me.. I did try and show all that I had done.. YES.. I was lucky that all mine came out easy.. Some people have snapped them off and had big bill.. I did it myself because of very high garage prices.. Cheers
Wow Kev that was well complicated 😲 well done for getting it all sorted 👏 you won’t need to push it now 🤣 see you soon 👍 ... 😘🤗❤️👵🏼🐾🐾🤠xxxx
Can't wait.. xxxxx
Hi I changed the washers on my Transit mk7 but I didn't put the injectors back in the same place where they were I wonder if I need to program them now😒?
Hi.. each injector has its own code. It is normally printed on the injector somewhere. YES you have to program each injector to each cylinder in the ecu. The engine might run but might be rough and lumpy unless you program them..
@@WonderingWomble Thank you very much for your help
Good effort that Womble 👍💙❤️
Braver man than me trying that bud. Well done!!!
Hi ya Bud.. I was shitin bricks doing it.. I know if you get it wrong it scrap.. Luck on my side this time.. Cheers
Thanks for that, great video, very informative.
Now I know how to tackle my transit, I wasn't sure about the learn procedure.
👍
Hi Dave.. It just transformed her performance.. can't wait to get her out and about.. Cheers
Well done womble great work mate , how come your selling the girl thought you loved her 🥰
You got another project in mind all the best mate
Hi Shane.. I love the van so much, I would have its babies..? But now she is way too big for me.. I just want a short wheel base, High top.. And YES I have got the bug to build another.. Cheers Bud
@@WonderingWomble lol 😂 have its babies , I’m in the market for a van but I’ve got to confess yours would be too big for me , the old mans cracking on with his but think I’ll have one in the next couple of months looking forward to meeting up for a beer or 12 😂, take care matey
I have had a new injector fitted as i was told this was the problem ,and i also had 2 new injector bolts fitted and one of the bolts has snapped while they fitted it and is now stuck inside the head . Should they have used a torque wrench to fit the bolts ? Does a new injector always have to be coded in ?
YES They should have use a Torque wrench, and YES They have to be coded to the ecu.. The new injectors will not fuel the correct amount until its coded and has the "learn" process run on them.. A snapped bolt in the head is a megga problem. But from past experience the garage is not liable for the cost..? Hope this helps
Job well done mate
Thanks Gazo.. the thing goes great again now..
Hi Kev
Have you ever thought of using a fuel cleaner additive ? I use Dipetane £12 halfords worth a resurch .
Hi Sean.. yes I have used cleaner before.. but clearer on worn injectors only makes it over fuel. Yes use cleaner on your engine once or twice is OK, but they foul up for a reason and that is they are worn.. Thanks that was a very good comment
Great video, but i dont have the option at the top of the programming page that says Fuel Injector Pilot Correction Learn
Thanks Tom.. Do you know what.. I never looked.. so not sure.. I can't remember seeing it, I thought it was only in the limited aria of the program as you can only read not write.. Next time i'm home I will have a look.. Cheers
@@WonderingWomble no problem. After fiddling for a few hours this afternoon and watching several videos, I solved my problem! I had a pretty hellish diesel knock. I reset a couple things on Forscan, didn't really take much notice of what I clicked. No more knock and its running smoother than it ever has! By the way, is that a Westcoutry accent? 😎
Well done.. Its not an easy task.. NOP.. I am HEREFORD born and bred..
I can't code an injector, because I don't see the diagram with the engine, I only see three numbers 4*, 5, 6, that's exactly how it appears and I can't write it!
Hi.. Your injector should have come with the code on a peace of paper..? I don't think they print it on the injector. You can only use second hand ones if you get the codes out of the ecu..?
@@WonderingWomble OK thanks a lot!
Good video. Well done on the fix and info. Given me food for thought cheers mate
PLEASURE BUD
Do you have a link to the Forsan program to buy it
Hi Patrick.. Free version will work on some items, it you want to get the best then you have to buy the extended licence. You can find this at this link.... Cheers... forscan.org/download.html
Hi Iany idea how to remove a speed limiter using forscan on a mk7
Hi.. I do no that it is possible to remove the limiter in forscan, I have never done it myself. I remember reading on the Transit Forum that you have to have the full version of forscan. So sorry I cant help with telling you how to.. Thanks for the comment..
OK thanks ...
Where did you buy the wired obd2 connector that you used with Forscan for this MK7??
Hi Gareth.. Sorry for the delayed reply, I have been away.. I got my daughter to get it off Amazon and just clicked the one that was the shortest delivery time.. I think it was from south wales, Porthcawl..? Sorry I'm not much help this time.. Cheers
