The Desert of the Tartars (1976) Review

What a great movie. I had about 100 candidates for the thumbnail of this video. I mainly talk about one philosophical aspect of this movie. I think there may be more here, but this is what stuck out to me on my first viewing.
I refer to this as a French movie where the characters speak French. This was true of the copy that I watched, but it's more accurate to describe this as an Italian movie. It was originally released in Italian and was produced at Cinecitta.
