THANK YOU for this we have almost identical colour and texture of hair and I can never find hair de vids of people who's start colour is the same as mine
I haven’t even watched yet, just the intro, but I’ve been looking for a video exactly like this all over and couldn’t find it for some reason? This video is 5 years old so I don’t understand why it didn’t show up when I searched for this exact thing, but oh well, it finally made its way to me by showing up in my recommended and I just wanted to say thank you! I can see from the pinned comment that you also have an update about what it looks like as it grows out and how to touch it up, which I really want to know! I have a very similar hair colour and I want to use henna but I’m worried about maintenance/if the roots would look bad as it grows out. So I’m super grateful for these videos. Okay, I’m gonna shut up and watch now. Thank you!
This is perfect, I've been growing out my natural colour after a good 6 months of bleaching and now I know how it will look since I have pretty much the exact same shade and thickness. It looks so natural compared to box yes I've used in the past that have lightener in them.
I’m SO late to this video but thrilled to come across it. My hair is naturally very close to your starting color and I couldn’t figure out if I would be able to get as orange as I wanted with henna. It looks SO SO good on you!
I loved the video! I just wanted to mention Henna actually gets into the hair follicles farther than chemical hairdye. That is why it is so hard to get out and why hairdressers run the other way when you mention that you have used it before. Also it gets into the roots and does a nice grow out compared to chemical hairdye.
First of all, your hair is gorgeous! Second, thank you! My hair is a similar colour to yours and also thin so this was incredibly useful so i could get an idea of what my hair will look like!
omg I have the same ashy blonde hair like you and have been looking for someone with the same hair color to see how will henna turn out. THANK YOU :D! And btw it loooks beautifull on you!!
Wow!!! That really brightens your face and eyes!! Great job!!! As a precaution, I saw a story of a girl who used henna at least once per month, and all the lovely protein started to build up and overwhelm her hair, so it started breaking at the crown (as it would if she shampooed with rice water or any other effective protein treatment every day). Supposedly, it's safer to use henna only once every 3-6 months. The result will be a darker color with each subsequent henna use, so using it less frequently will also help you keep it that lighter color (especially if you use a natural, healthy clarifying shampoo occasionally (not more than once every two week, at the most). I found henna such a refreshing, cathartic experience, and the energetic field it has actually improves one's health too (like rhassoul washing clay)! Keep it up, and have fun!!!
we have similar hair colour naturally and I was wondering what it'd look like with this henna! it looks really nice on you :) I think it'll get more intense each time you use it too.
I've used caca rouge several times and I wouldn't have watered it down while it was melting because it works better when it's stiff and unyielding and you just have to slap it on and work it through, and I would've used the whole block and just slathered it on. I would also wrap my head lightly in clingfilm or use a clear shower cap and have spent as much time in sunlight as I could- the light brings out the orangeness more than the heat- and then you get the flaming orange tones.
You can actually freeze the leftover henna, which I usually do, since my hair is really short. You don’t have to put the leftover in the trash and can use the rest later :)
Your midway colour is my natural colour! This is great because your 2nd pass helped bring out some more ginger goodness, which is what I wanted to know if it did. I may be purchasing. Thank you!
Thank you! This is so helpful, I haven't seen anyone with my hair shade do this either, so grateful! I'm looking into ginger henna hair too (plus eyebrows hahaha) ☺
Oh wow, you did a great job there Tally!! I remember you talking about dying your hair a while back and I'm glad you've done it with the right ingredients/colour combo for your current lifestyle! You look great!! And Adam was so sweet helping you out clean around your head hahah Have a great Sunday :)
Oh, and is in Spanish hahah When I opened the notification email, in the split second it takes to click on the thumbnail my eyes hoovered over the 1st part of the title and I instant saw an image of cow poo in my head and I was like "WTF? Has she gone mental??!!" hahahah Then I got to the Henna part and I was like "aaaaahhhh!!" x D
I have the same natural hair color as you but I can’t find anything on how a color depositing shampoo would work on our tone. I’d love to see you make a video on it.
I’m a natural ginger who’s hair has been fading to blonde over the past few years and I really hate it, I love my ginger hair so I’m definitely going to try this
The result on you is very subtle and not that ginger you see on others. I am looking for a more drastic ginger result. I have the henna here but now i don't know if i should use it...
It really depends on your hair type how the colour turns out in the end. I started with the same hair colour and got a way more vibrant ginger result. Maybe just do a little strand test to decide whether you like the colour. There are also some tricks that can help you change the colour a little. For example adding some lemon juice to the henna.
Ooo it looks good, Tally! I use the same one, and I usually keep it in overnight, which gives the colour even more time to develop, and also means I don't have to spend half a day wandering around looking like one of the disguised aliens from Mars Attacks.
Hey, nice Video. Two Tips. More Water. The mixture was not fluid enough. Maybe also add yoghurt. Also, just Rinse out the Henna. Do not wash with shampoo for 24 or more hours. At last: welcome to the Henna Club
i was thinking about trying this out soon since i am so bored of my hair currently but i was wondering if it effects the feel or thickness of your hair at all since my hair is on the thinner side? also does it get a bit drying over time or does it keep your hair remaining healthy? 🥰
I know I’m very late, but I thought I’d answer anyways :) Henna add thickness and volume to the hair. Leaves it super shiny as well and I felt like my hair grew faster too!
yeah it's all natural and I obviously clean it after so I don't see a problem with it. The pan and spoon also came clean so I still use those in the kitchen too
omg you could have died! ive seen some spectacular henna reactions. you should have live streamed this! if you did have a severe reaction, better to wake up in the hospital to 1Mil views. but am i wrong? maybe next time. =p !💜
It is usually strongly suggested not to use metal with henna, because it could alter the chemical principles of the composition. and you used a knife ... in metal, a pot ... in metal, and aluminum foil. So..eh
1:35 oh. well at least dont put that in the title. a lot of us only use YT incase someone accidentally kicks the bucket doing something normal. a larger amount than youd think. but views are views. ^^

THANK YOU for this we have almost identical colour and texture of hair and I can never find hair de vids of people who's start colour is the same as mine
After the henna treatment, your red hair looks 100% natural on you and this is so awesome
god bless you for having light brown / dark blonde hair for some representation of us with the dull hair
This is the best henna Lush tutorial I have seen. Thank you so much.
Thank you :)
Love the ginger on you!💜
I have the same hair color and it's so nice to see someone with the same hair color going ginger :) thank u!

My natural hair is exactly your shade and I love the henna color result
It fits you so nicely - looks fresh and healthy - well done dear 👍🌹🌹 Thx for sharing !

Hope it goes well for you! :)
You look so much like Sophie turner with that hair colour and even sound like her too! It really suits you and thank you for the thorough tutorial 😊❤️
Agree
Could you please do an update video? Like if the color was fading or if you had to do it again?
I will do when it does fade but it hasn't yet! I haven't got an obvious roots growing though either! :)
I've made the update video :) ua-cam.com/video/Ts-lLzPBDic/v-deo.html
It doesn’t fade, but when your roots grow in they look more natural.

This is the video thats convinced me this is right for me! Did u use the same henna for your eyebrows?
I’m already ginger/auburn and wanting to go more ginger. Deffo going to contemplate getting this! Thanks! 😊
Glad I could help :)
you look so much like Sansa from GoT with the red hair, so beautiful.
I haven't seen GOT but thanks :)
I was thinking the same 😂
Thanks for recording and uploading this! I have similiar hair color as you and indeed couldn't find any other video with this haircolor!

Yeah I realised that as soon as I did it, it was unintentional 😂
Your midway colour is my natural colour! This is great because your 2nd pass helped bring out some more ginger goodness, which is what I wanted to know if it did. I may be purchasing. Thank you!
Hope it works for you 😊
Great video! :) I never use balm on forehead and the henna washes out of my skin pretty easily, it doesn't stain.
Thank you! This is so helpful, I haven't seen anyone with my hair shade do this either, so grateful! I'm looking into ginger henna hair too (plus eyebrows hahaha) ☺

It looks so natural!
Thank you so much! You and I have the exact same hair and I couldn't find any reviews/dying videos of something close to my hair!
I have the same natural hair color as you but I can’t find anything on how a color depositing shampoo would work on our tone. I’d love to see you make a video on it.
Yay! You have my same hair color. The Caca Rouge looks great. I'm going to try it :)

Thank you :)
Love that colour so much😍 lovely!
I was looking for someone with hair like mine and your video was very helpful
Wow it looks amazing
Thanks I have the exact same hair
It looks so beautiful.
Perfect color for you
It looks beautiful!
Nice I liked the result

ooh thats a good shout wearing it overnight, cling film would probably definitely be better for that though I imagine!
i love it!!☺️ but i didn’t understand what type of henna did u use…?
It's the Lush caca rouge henna www.lush.com/uk/en/p/rouge-henna-hair-colour
Great vlog
Nice hair
Thanks for doing this. (Also, think about bangs, they'd be really cute on you).
Oh I had bangs once and they really didn't suit me 😅 I wish they did though!
That colour really suits you!
Thank you :)
Do they do henna tattoo's
Wowww it looks amazing on you💕❤️🖖👽
Thank you 😊
Looks awesome but I thought the instructions say no metal is this true
I didn't see that on the instructions but if it says that on the henna you have then you should follow that
"horrifically wonky" lol you are so fun!
Henna is soooo messy😄😄😄! Beautiful color😊😊
You really suit ginger
What is the ingredients?
My English is not good

Id love to see a follow up video! The color really suits you 💕
Does it stain your tub when you rinse off?

The hair gets more healthy, at least in my experience!
Does it stay forever?
It's impressive how good this stuff looks on light brown hair. Put on some fake freckles and people will think you were born ginger.
Assalam, how I can find this henna? As henna powder is normally in turkey
but you cut this henna😃🤭
This henna is pre mixed with oils and butters which is why it's in a block 😊
Everyone uses lush snd does it differently
i love it
you remind me so much of Zoe Sugg
It's not that different 2 seconds later I think I like it but it's so different ... 😂😂😂
I know this is a silly question but do you using the same knife for henna as you using in the kitchen for chop like vegetables?
yeah it's all natural and I obviously clean it after so I don't see a problem with it. The pan and spoon also came clean so I still use those in the kitchen too
@@TallyKerr thank you!
caca rouge???
😂😂😂😂 if you translate its "shit red"
Overnight for more orange tones.
oh my.. tin foil on henna? can't that cause a horrible reaction??
Really??? How do you know! I was totally planning on doing that. I’m afraid now😳😳
@@yulissaanahi7903 I don't know the specifics, just that henna can have a bad chemical reaction with metal. I would use cling wrap instead
