Best advice I got from a friend: don’t “save” your designer bags. Wear them, use the hell out of them. I am a “saver” type person, so I am glad I took her advice to heart.
I love how your taste in bags is both cute and stylish, but also just so sensible. These new micro bags are so impractical, I love the philosophy of owning bags that are meant to be used.
I freakin LOVE that oversized Chanel. That’s exactly how I like my everyday bags too. I think it looks cooler to have it look well worn and “vintage-y” looking almost while still being pretty much brand new. I never baby my things either. Our lives and the ppl and things we love are meant to be fully enjoyed!

I d think maroon is a „brownish“ red like chestnuts (marrons) and Bordeaux/burgundy is dark (blackened) red (the way red wine is a black with hints of red or purple depending on the light ) - but I m not sure my understanding of English Color names is on point there 😂

Never knew that Kelly 32 isn’t that big of a size for everyday use which is perfect. I’m considering getting the 28 but when you held your 32, the size is perfect for me. Love the etoupe color.. looks classy too

All your bags are medium sized. Micro bags have just taken over so all other bags look massive when in reality your bags are reasonably sized.

I love my Kelly 28 in etoupe. That is my most use luxe bag. Love it way more than my B30. Better for an every day bag to have since it's a top handle and a shoulder strap.
What Chanel classic bags were brought back in the past? I doubt Chanel will bring back the GST since they have the timeless tote. They discontinued medallion, timeless clutch, mademoiselle, east west. Those were “classic” but still discontinued.

I have the gold Chanel bag that you have from the NY Metiers collection but in black and I had it out all winter. I used it a TON and would just grab a few things from it when I wanted to temporarily switch to another bag. Great travel bag too for carry on in the winter. I totally agree, not my favorite but fit my needs!
that is exactly what i do and exactly the bag i took for travelling over christmas. i use it as a bag hub and then switch it every time i go somewhere other than regular life lol

Nevertheless, on behalf of teachers everywhere this issue needs to be clarified. I am sure your children's teachers have left them work to do. It is the teachers who are doing the programming, planning, preparation, instruction, marking and feedback of the actual work your children are doing. What you are doing is supervising. Under these current conditions, it is also called parenting.
Heather Valentine 🙄🙄🙄 you’re still getting paid right? It is an added burden on parents, especially ones that are still working in addition to the kids now being homeschooled. Teachers are not a victim here and don’t need a prize. Yeah they’ve stepped up in a different role, but it’s just a small change in their previous role.
Heather, I get you very well. My best friend is a teacher; she has to do everything you mentioned above, but with lots more time investment, because she can't teach 30 children at once, but five or six; so she has to repeat it over and over again. Of course, preparation has be done. Of course, conferences with colleagues take place on a regular basis. And, additionally, she has to observe those children that can't stay at home, because their parents are doctors, nurses, garbage men..., so she's in one room with these children (btw, face masks are not allowed for teachers). It's a hell of a lot work, and people still bug teachers with stupid comments like "You get paid, do you?" YES, OF COURSE, BECAUSE THEY DO THEIR WORK, and often have a lot more steps to do than in school, when all children are together!

Parents have to be registered, join a network, obtain resources, comply with government regulations, adhere to their supervisor's recommendations, familiarise themselves with curriculum, take time to plan and map out a overarching program as well as set out daily lesson plans, coordinate activities and document each milestone. I agree that parents with primary school aged children have had to make adjustments in this current situation and have had to SUPERVISE their children while they are doing their school work. However, children who regularly attend school and are now doing their lessons from home are a far cry from those who are actually being homeschooled. Under no circumstances am I saying any teacher is a victim. If you think that, then you have misunderstood me. I teach senior high school and I can assure you that I have been the one to continue with my curriculum to my students.

However, something tells me that he passed on his hard work ethic and determination to her and I’d imagine that a lot of the items she has are things she had worked hard to obtain. I do recall in her jewelry video though she mentioned an item being a family heirloom, so I bet she has received some gifts that many of us could only dream to be given!!
If I had an Hermès Kelly I would baby the hell out of it so it never had any wear and tear! I would baby that thing to the extreme. But that is because I would have to save for years to be able to afford one and then I would need to keep it in pristine condition in case anything in my life went wrong that would be the first thing to be sold!!
