I so much prefer the Ariana Grande over the Baccarat Rouge. Especially the price! It’s almost like the super high end brands just don’t want us regular people to buy their stuff, so you know what? Keep it! I’d rather travel, tysvm. And in my small town most people don’t know higher end fashion anyway. So dupes are fine. Although I still love a good bag and shoe… yanno? As far as jeans I have been very lucky these past few years at Zara. This year I found the BEST fitting loose, wide, mid rise in a thick denim for $70, I bought it in 2 colours. I swear they look like the Nili Lotan Mitchell jeans that cost over $600. Got the darker and lighter wash and I swear the fit is absolute perfection!
Remember when you could get a "really expensive" pair of jeans from a denim boutique for like 250-350 usd? (With in house tailoring included!) I'll never forget my first pair of diesel and true religion. The quality of the garment was off the charts. They had less stretch so they never wore out, they just looked better year after year of conforming to your body. Now they want 800 bucks for lycra? And the silhouettes are changing every week? This is why everyone wears sweats and leggings.
I go to Marshals and Walmart for my clothes when it is needed, invest better with shoes since I like to walk. As for beauty, I invest in Colorscience sunscreen, bath bombs to soak my feet in, and Dior lip oil.
I am completely anosmic to BR540, but I CAN smell Cloud. It’s really pretty, and if you remove all the weird teen plastic from the bottle, it’s pretty, adult, basic bottle. 😊
I was lucky enough to find a pair Of Celine heeled sandals at a thrift store last week ($8) and truth be told, I may not have been the most elegant human while darting for them. 😅 As for jeans, I don't usually spend over $80 as I wear out the inner thighs and pocket corners faster than most humans.
I don't mind something being expensive, but these kind of prices? Not worth it. A 1800 dollar pair of jeans is not 18 times better than a 100 dollar one.
I'm so mad about the Baccarat perfume! It was $300 and I got it for Christmas and it doesn't last AT ALL. You have to spray a ton and it's gone by mid-day. My one and only "luxury" perfume booooo
i'm a middle class girl and i know my reality..i do not shop at luxury and i do not care for luxury ...i'm careful with clothing cuts and materials in the shops for middle class humans
I bought the BR540 for my mother in law last Christmas because she would not stop talking about it. Honestly I really didn’t care for it and I don’t think it lived up to the hype for her either.
