Realtalk your generation had one of the best music…it had groove and soul!!! im a 23 year old man and our generation only got rap music or more like pop music mixed with rap!
You're right about that brother. Modern women have lost feminity and being faithful. 80% of people that file for divorce are women. When life gets rough they leave. The western courts have made it profitable for women too divorce men and make it very profitable.
Nothing will ever match the 1970’s…. And mean never………most creative music decade of the 20th century,…. Let alone growing up as a kid during it.wonderful reaction……..
I played bass in a band back in the 70s and we did this song, always got a good reaction. Our guitarist had a flanger and nailed the leads, sounded great. Great lyrics, the '70s were a great time and a great time to be in a band. Now, I' almost 75 and it's been 45 years since I've played but this always brings back wonderful memories.
I just really appreciate the fact that people like yourself are willing to reveal your emotional response to such an awesome song!! Stay real and don't let anyone Harden your heart
DONT FEEL BAD IM 63 AND I STILL CRY WHEN I LISTEN TO THIS SONG VERY EMOTIONAL TOUCHS YOUR HEART AND I LISTEN TO THIS GROUP WHEN I WAS 18YEARS OLD 1978 GODBLESS LOVE THAT YOU YOUNGER GENERATION CAN LOVE THE MUSIC I LOVE
I’m 68 years old. When this song came out, I fell in love with it. I learned the lyrics to this and still remember them to this day. This was a time where a lot of musicians would compose love songs primarily for guys who wronged their girls and wanted them back. If ever there was a song that would accomplish this, it was Baby Come Back. It just melts your heart. Right now, I’m wearing that mask of false bravado. Still gets me today, so no one is alone. What we just saw happened with your emotions, happened to everyone. I’m glad you liked it.
The absolute best era of music This is when people sang from their hearts and played real instruments I don’t understand why people quit making music like this You could play this song to a woman and she would melt in your hands People got along so much better back then than they do now The 1970’s had so many great bands that made music like this Man these were the best times of my life
You need to hear Hall and Oates "She's gone' 'Sara smile" 'Rich girl" 'I can't go for that" 'Kiss on my list" "You make my dreams" "One on one" "Maneater" "Out of touch" "Method of modern love"
For dagonmaster1963, so true 💓. I did lose her in 1968, & every word in this song is true. Not 'some' of it, ALL OF IT‼️ ! Yet, met her again 8/2023 for 25-minutes❤️🩹 Again, later that day 😢
Thank you for that wonderful honest reaction. We have all experienced pain from loving someone and I appreciate that you put yourself out there. Reactions like yours are why I watch these videos. The power of music is REAL. Don’t ever be ashamed to let it take you where it will. Thank you again.
It brings a tear to my eye too because i had broken up with my High School sweetheart when this song came out and I think of her every time I hear it. The 70's and 80's was about love.
I know how you feel! The songs from the late 60s to the early 80s had far more emotional range in them, and they will touch you deeply when you least expect it.
Its okay. It brings tears to my eyes and they usually end up on my cheeks. It just tugs at your heart strings!! I had the 8 track tape and played it constantly in my car.
I guess you can relate with this song that's why you cried. Speaks volume of the band's authenticity in expressing their true feelings through this song.
Thank you for your ❤ heartfelt reaction. It's how it crashed in on us when we lost our loves...bittersweet memories. I would relive it with all the pathos and parties again and again.
I think it's an authentic reaction. When you hear those.lyrics Baby come back, I was wrong, if you've ever just totally fucked up a perfectly good relationship then you know what I'm talkin about, those tears can come fast.
Don't worry! This song cause same reaction on me. The harmonies and voices are the big secret in this masterpiece. You're a beautiful girl. Thanks for the real reaction and video.
I grew up with their music, it is soft and smooth. The lyrics is very well done, let alone the message. Music then are like listening to a letter being sang by the sender... AMAZING TIME TO REMEMBER.
I remember grooving with the ladies on the dance floor as a freshman in high school...1977...southern Indiana...thanks...brings back wonderful memories. Hall & Oates vibe...smooth, smooth song with killer vocals. Those harmonies are so damn good...like the Eagles.
This is a heartfelt song and Peter Beckett nailed it as lead singer, but the harmony and back-up vocals from the band members AND their musical talents blows me away each time I hear this song. I LOVED this song when I was 8 and I STILL LOVE THIS SONG at 52, it is one of my all-time favourites from this era. Loved your reaction, but like you, it makes me VERY emotional when I hear it. Whether you go through a break-up or not, the tune, the vocals, the meaning of the song evokes emotions. Peter Beckett is one talented songwriter and singer. FUN FACT: Did you know the guitarist in the orange outfit is Ronn Moss? When the band broke up, he went on to acting as Ridge Forrester in The Bold and the Beautiful from 1987 to 2012 (25 years!).
I have shed a tear listening to this song ... but not the first time hearing it ... before the first chorus! Raw for real. Makes me happy to see songs from my youth strike a chord with later generations. It was a hit for a reason ;)
I feel these "reaction" videos can bring us closer together. This song touches me because it says something about emotional times in my life and that others experience it too. Be well, young lady.
Just subscribed and when I saw your tears, I saw how this hit you in some kind of way. That’s what songs are supposed to do! Thank you for reacting to music in my heydays. React to another group like this from that era such as Ambrosia, any one of their hits will do the same
It does bring out those emotions you feel when this happens. We've all experienced it and it wasn't much fun. Sometimes they come back but sometimes they don't and you are left wondering all your life what could have been... Watching your response really brings that emotion back from so many years gone by, but it is still there and never really fades away. When this song came out, I was going through one of these breakups. We never got back together. Yes I was very young but Love is what it is. She was there with me and then it was over and the emptiness was deafening. Strange how we remember those things especially the loneliness that fills that void for a time. If Toni Hudson is out there some where, I would really just like to say hello and that I never forgot.
Love it, love you !! I could tell you were enjoying it from the first few notes and when you started tearing, well my heart melted... When you glance directly into the camera lens I could see how much the song was resonating with you. Love it !! I have a new found love for this song now. Never cared for it in '77, (I was more into Metal) but since your reaction, (and I've mellowed a bit at 75 yo) I love it !! Keep it up !!

I love the fact that she never paused the song once. she let it play and then gives her review and opinion ❤
The song is too good to be paused for even a second😩😩😩
Ensure to drop a request for my next post🤗🤗
❤Great reaction ❤

I’m 60 years old and It is exactly the same for me. Heard it in late 70:ties when a was a teenager and feel the same as Iam Ogajari 🥰and you
Amen Brother 🙏 ...53 myself.
God knows many of liquor up nights
Then this would come on then life smack you in the fefes
55 here and it still reaches deep into my soul.
Tenho 69 anos e sinto muita emoção ao ouvir essa pérola musical. Chorar faz parte além de fazer bem pra alma
I'm a 64 year young man, sitting here, watching videos of all the songs that make me cry.
Everyone has gone through what he's singing about. It's natural to cry.
Back in 70's & 80's men loved their women & admitted when they were wrong!!😪
PERIOD!!!
So nowadays men don’t?
Men used to know how to talk to women, and they understood women are more about their ears than their eyes.
Why are we falsely acting like men have changed. Nothing could be further from the truth.
You're right about that brother. Modern women have lost feminity and being faithful. 80% of people that file for divorce are women. When life gets rough they leave. The western courts have made it profitable for women too divorce men and make it very profitable.
Her reaction said it all when each tear fell down her face she didn't have to pause the video to speak
😭😭
😭😭
Im 75 & lived this song in the 70's!! It still touches me to core!
I can relate...
I've sung this song and cried....many years ago. It still hits the heart.

I was 17 y.o. (today I'm 61) so, you can imagine the feelings that this song brings me
We had good taste in high school. Not everyone did. 😀

Best reaction I've ever seen to a wonderful, wonderful song.

i was 13 when this song came out. the lyrics made this a perfect song! and Musicianship was perfect also!
Pop music of the 70's was so accomplished! This song, with its funky beat, also brings a heartfelt message. Thank you for your heartfelt reaction.
Don't worry, girl! This song still does it to me too, and it came out when I was 9! It's a beautiful song!
You need to hear Hall and Oates "She's gone' 'Sara smile" 'Rich girl" 'I can't go for that" 'Kiss on my list" "You make my dreams" "One on one" "Maneater" "Out of touch" "Method of modern love"
This was one of my favorite songs in the 70’s. And yes I did shed a few tears!!! 😊
Love that you respond to all the emotions he's singing in the lyrics and song...🎶💖
This is one of those songs that only those who have lost a real deep love can feel the song's emotional spirit.
