This is a wonderfully helpful and specific build tutorial thank you SO much for your patience, specificity, and attention to detail when teaching others how to do something. Many people can not do this so thank you! Sincerely, Middle school teacher.
You are actually the best Enshrouded builder I've watched so far! Please make more building tutorials. I just started my enshrouded journey and would love to beautify my base with your buildings. these are just beautiful.
they might be nice. but he's a sack of dirt clickbaiter with that title "starter base" it's midgame at best simply because of the blocks that you need to use.
Another fun way to get your head around building is to take over existing settlements like farms, churches ect… these provide enough shelter for the gang, give you comfort and some provide plants, foods and commonly used materials. ( I built my first base to then found this out😏) Great tutorial👌🏽 excited for the future of this community and game 🔥
My houses in survival games: Night of the dead: Takeshi's castle Terraria: box Ark: box Valheim: 10x10 box with roof Enshrouded: 3x4 box with roof This looks great, I love that the triangular pieces arc over the stone stairs that looks great. Eventually I just took over some abandoned 2-storey house I came across in Revelwood lol
I’ve watched your valheim builds like forever, used a lot of your tutorials for my own builds. And now I will be inspired by this too! I really like enshrouded, but the building seems like it will take a while to get used to. So big ups for making these videos 🙌🤩
I followed your build videos from Valheim to Enshrouded. I'm so glad you are making videos for this game! Would love to see a Valheim house build translated to Enshrouded! I'm actually taking one of your Valheim builds to inspire my house in Enshrouded!
That's a nice build, nice seeing you over in Enshrouded. I'm going to yoink the roof tricks for my own builds. Time to correct the walls to no longer poke trough my roofs while still sealing the gaps so it doesn't feel drafty inside.
Remember that there's a shift forward/ backwards function with q+scroll. Help a lot with placing things in tight or finicky areas like when you're putting the pillars in at the start, scroll it as close to you as possible and you have some more control
Absolutely GORGEOUS little cottage! I love this build! One thing I would change is making the floor out of flintstone floor tiles and hanging the rough stone walls from the edge of them. When used as a floor tile, the flintstone creates a beautiful flagstone-like surface. On a side note, I noticed a couple other buildings in the background, namely a two-story little home. Is there a build tutorial for it as well?
@@Versaugh Well, I am looking forward to one and for the other building in the background. I like the style you did with these 3 builds. They look like they belong in their own little village together. Just need a tall tower to keep watch over them ;-)
I really like to take inspiration from your videos. I recreated parts of this home. I just put the chimney in a more sensible spot and left these roof-ridges out as well as closing some gaps etc. But yeah its a great look!
If i never mentioned it before you are truly amazing at this. I have followed you since i started playing Valheim and you always inspire me. Thx for sharing and thx for being you
The display opening of what materials you will need was fantastic addition. Have you ever consider doing like a showcase server world just filled with some builds you've done? with the material need displays out front. Probably could back up a copy of the save before hand to ensure nothing is lost in the demo display.
Ahh okay, grinding wood and stone is the most boring part of Valheim imo 🤣 anyway love them vids bro! Thanks for entertaining with these in depth builds @@Versaugh
You're pretty awesome. Your Valheim stuff is insane too. My question is when you build something, then go back and make a tutorial how do you remember all the exact steps you did?? Do you take notes, write stuff down, etc? Or you just have that good of a memory. I know you sketch them sometimes since you mentioned that in a stream before..but what else?
Thanks 🙂, I built the structure first and rebuilt it again but following the first build, and double-checked if I had something off or wrong and tried to explain as clearly as possible.
both game have their own flavor that I like, enshrouded have a lot pieces of different texture and color making creativity endless, so far I am having fun now with building but it is finicky I got use to it after playing around for awhile. Adventure side I have not gone far so I can say anything yet but the adventure is ok, hope to get into the hard stuff. if you love building then yea I would recommend.
I've watched A Lot of your build videos. Wondering which game do you like the most for building? They each have pros and cons I'm guessing- some have better mechanics while others have better aesthetics. I've only worked in Valheim - over 2K hours messing around there. Still, my builds aren't as detailed as yours... but I've learned a lot watching your builds thanks.
I like Valheim the most for building, I feel freer there and not feel locked to following an invisible grid, I wish it had more textures and colors to play around with like enshrouded.
I must admit I quite dislike secret tile placements to get new building pieces to spawn… makes it less intuitive than just being able to select them as well from a palette…
Unfortunately i had to request a refunt. I spent an hour trying to figure out how to keep my game from looking like an xbox 360 game. I tried a reshade mod which did make it look slightly better but not by much. I couldn't get over the motion blur either, no way to reduce or turn that off
Can anybody tell me who's a bit deeper in the game already.. is there any kind of survival coming? Like in terms of hunger and thirst? I thought it would be part of the game like in Valheim or Minecraft but so far it seems like its not.
Pro tip: Don't build a starter house. Make a large house to begin with that can fit all the crafters and crafting items. You can then upgrade the house with nicer blocks, furniture, storage etc. for comfort levels as you progress rather than having to start over. Having a first small house is a waste of time. You will run out of space way too fast.
Totally agree… just demolished my starter base yesterday after building a way bigger new base on a larger location… on a new playthrough I would directly build a way larger house and just upgrade the walls and floors later with better looking ones…
Just upgrade the build design of that small one, you can play with it, bigger, more room or more basement its up to y’all, I’m really watching for the inspiration, bro is op at designs bro tried layouts and combinations so we don’t have to
The only thing you might struggle with getting straight away is the tar shingle.... Every thing else you can get within the first 30 mins of playing your first ever game. Don't know why you think you need to be mid game to get them
This video confirmed for me that I don't want this game. Way too complicated. I don't know why things have to be that difficult to build a house. Thanks for the video.
Building in this game is so lame. I never touch it. Nothing really looks as nice as valheim. I just built a big box to put all my crafters in and thats it

Glad it was helpful!
Just beautiful. And such attention to detail. Thanks for posting this tutorial!!!
Thanks so much 😊
What a great video. I just started getting into base building in enshrouded and having a ton of fun building this. Keep up the great work!!!

sorry for the audio being choppy in some parts, audio settings were a bit off.
How dare you
Very cool build, little nice and cozy
very beautiful and stylish
Never though a house could be made to look good with those mats but you changed my mind.
This guy is just insanely talented... I'm in awe...
Thanks 🙂

I love the village that you are creating
Hope to see more soon. You taught me so much just in the first 10-15 minutes 👍🏼
More to come!
The interior looks cozy

thank you for this! I do like that you said out loud which number you selected, it helped a lot to know what was going on. The roof tips are awesome!
Glad it was helpful!
this looks really good thanks for showing and explaining i will save this video for future referances
You are welcome!

Wow, that's a goooood work! I see that new building saga begins! Now I have to switch from Valheim to Enshrouded :)))) Thanks a lot!
Glad you like it!😆
What i mostly like about this game's building, most of the stuff fits in the world. Like they don't feel out of place.
Great video thank you ♥
cant wait to see what else you come up with
Incredible, can't wait for more ❤

Just missed the live... Watching now!
5high roof with one offset makes cool design for it thank you lol
nice, loving this game right now..
Do you think you have to mine stones even more than valheim to build stone houses here? Looks like a lot of stones needed the foundation.
you can us 2 stone to make 100 rough stone blocks to build with, its not alot and it is easy to get it, less grindy than valheim
Ahh okay, grinding wood and stone is the most boring part of Valheim imo 🤣 anyway love them vids bro! Thanks for entertaining with these in depth builds @@Versaugh
We need more of this tbh ^_^

All these "starter houses" are really in depth. Just show me how to put together 4 walls and a roof please
I think the assumption is that people can figure out for themselves how to place down four walls and a roof haha
this looks so cool
mine looks like it was made by a blind man and parts of the roof are missing
😂stop over exaggerating
im just truthful@@Versaugh
thinking about getting this game, how does it compare to Valheim? Loved to see you were making a video about it!

Is this game on xbox?? 🎮🖥
sadly no, Enshrouded isn't available to play on Xbox while it's in Early Access, it is only on steam.
Unfortunately i had to request a refunt. I spent an hour trying to figure out how to keep my game from looking like an xbox 360 game. I tried a reshade mod which did make it look slightly better but not by much. I couldn't get over the motion blur either, no way to reduce or turn that off
i wish my brain worked like this lmao my brain just says ''make box and put shit in it''

NICE BUT IN THE WOULD YOU FIX FIX UP A NICE PLACE JUST IN FRONT OF YOU I OWN A TOWN LOL
good build except for the chimmy, that looks horrendous.
😂😂
nice build. but please say 1 meter or 2 meter and not 1m
Just me or does this game need color correction or more contrast?

Or make multiple houses for each nps like a village
Not a good take what if I just want to do it just to do it?
Or build a starter house, and build a huge cave under it.
Meters? WTF is a meter? Why isnt this game in glorious freedom per bald eagle. jk lol
This game looks great, but had the unfortunate timing of release at the same time as Palworld. Unlucky, really.
"starter home" have to progress mid through the game to get half those blocks lol
The only thing you might struggle with getting straight away is the tar shingle.... Every thing else you can get within the first 30 mins of playing your first ever game. Don't know why you think you need to be mid game to get them
@@beaverhart2566 because I don't speed run a game under 30 min. Had to clear towers to get to the areas you sudjust
@@guitargenie211 I don't know how you think you need to progress through half the game to get stone, wood, flint, and shroud wood

it is called enshrouded

You can literally just make a stone block prison cell if you're not into building.
terrible game

clickbait people. you can see it in the thumbnail but saying it anyway.
THESE ARE NOT BEGINNER BUILDING BLOCKS SO THIS IS NOT A STARTER HOUSE!!!!!!!
