He probably washes the same as everyone else. I think the verb you are looking for is "washed up" (it has a different meaning than just 'washed').
Uber Dough.
This sounds plausible until you realise he and Barkov weren't even on the same line, except on the powerplay.
He had about 40 points on the PP1 with him, without a superstar center hes basically a 50-60pt winger. It was a massive red flag when he was partying at strip clubs while the panthers were getting dumped on by the lightning, and his own team wanted him gone.
@@camg52346 I understand the point you're trying to make, but you're massaging the numbers to make it fit. Not all 38 of those PP points can be attributed to having one elite C.
Let's not forget that Huberdeau led the team in scoring. I can't think of another case where a team scoring leader was actually not very good but was elevated by players who got fewer points than he did. The fact of the matter is he was good in Florida, he sucks on the Flames. I don't think anyone really knows why, despite claiming to have the answers. To suggest that he was just a 50-60 point player all along just doesn't make much sense.
Washed is harsh. Can certainly say it's a poor fit between Huberdeau and the Flames. Not sure what it is.
aren't the flames just washed all together?

What planet are you living on? Huberdeau went almost a point per game after christmas. He also was never a good goal scorer. He is a playmaker, on a team with no proven goal scorers. The flames are a young team given the youth a few years to get good and Huberdeau will be there helping them. its time to pump the breaks on the Huberdeau hate train, he isn't the only problem on this team. You can't get 85 assists on a team without a consistent goal scorer. So give Zary, Pelletier, Corontato, Sharangovich, and Pospisil a chance to get good
Right On - Dec. 31 he started putting points on the board!
Almost a point per game over a short period of time. Tons of players making less than half what he makes do that.
