Through their DEI mentality, they exclude others, specifically white males, this is proven by developers in group photos and in comparison photos of then vs now. Back in the day (1997-2000), the only gaming magazine I followed was PSM (Unofficial PlayStation Magazine). The editors unapologetically embraced fan service and print what their readers love to see. Became boring when it turned official.
