I had this happen today, timer ran out, and as the shuttle timer ticked down, I launched the ICBM. Only one of us extracted, but the objective was done. Diff8 bots are no joke.
I once experienced something similar to this except it was an eagle cluster strike. Anyway to set the scene, we're getting over run the bot drops just keep coming and on of this we are out of reinforcements, a squad mate has the idea to call for air support he throws the stratagem on my position and begs me to retreat up the hill with him, i say no because I'm gonna hold off the enemy advance until our air support arrives, a couple seconds later i hear the eagle coming in for it's strafing run and my vision is filled with the sight of explosions, to my and my squads astonishment i am totally unharmed and every bot around me has been torn to shreds because of the cluster munitions yet I haven't got a scratch on me. So i guess in my case liberty does protect, and I'm sure all the automatons that seen it were terrified.
