I'm an old women 65 lol and alone and you and your family really help distract my anxiety when I have you to watch. I've really been worried about y'all. Keep your chin up sweet man!
About ten years ago I started to experience debilitating anxiety, that was keeping me from social and work related interaction. I didn't want to treat it with drugs, but my GP suggested I try Sertraline 100mg. (Generic Zoloft) It totally changed my life for the better. I've been taking it daily for about seven years, and couldn't be happier. Oh, and you're not old Tami, I'm 67 and having a blast! All the best to you...Mark
One day at a time, sometimes one minute at a time!! Remember, you are making a difference in people's lives, and YOU ARE NEEDED in this world! Sweet blessings to you and your sweet family!
I think I can say for the majority of your fans that were all very proud of how you had an anxiety attack and how you handled it. I had an attack after a friend died, but I knew what was coming and I stood up then told myself I wasn’t going to let that happen again. Amazingly, it stopped immediately. Keep on trucking, Al. Depression isn’t easy to deal with, but you’re fighting it well.
So good to see you back Al. I just started watching this video and my hubby heard you on the video and hubby said "Al's back"? Al, you are not alone. Without getting into long story, I identify with your story and once you have the keys to getting help; whether it be medication, therapy, breathing therapy, spiritual guidance, changes in life-style, find your path to healing and you can be an over-comer. Just keep you "keys" handy when you start feeling it coming on. I'm so happy to see you back and yes, you are right, your wife is a keeper.
I think you’re pretty amazing man. You spoke earlier about not graduating and later getting your GED. That’s an achievement. You work hard and found a way to comfortably support your family while helping others. I would say you’re pretty successful at life. Keep doing what makes you happy and helps you move happily forward.
Im really glad you are starting to feel more like your real self. Al you are an amazing human being doing so much good for others in need. You have a lot to be grateful and proud of. You have a wonderful wife and amazing family. Love your behind the scenes video. Would love to see more. Keep mowing Al!
You, my friend, are an amazing and inspirational man. I pray that your anxiety issues improve and that you can get back to your best life. You have such a wonderful family, a devoted wife and sweet, loving kids. Enjoy your life! I love what you do for others.
We are retired and had to move over an hour away from our kids to find a home we could afford due to the Real Estate Market. Your videos make our day! Understand how you feel with some days not even wanting to leave home. Sometimes it is just the world we live in and how much it has changed. It gives us hope when we see folks like your family. I grew up in Arizona and live in Ohio now. Love seeing the Florida houses. You could just drive around and show us houses that need mowing. It's nice to see the world elsewhere too.
Retirement isn’t for sissies is it? We are under winter warnings for the last 4 days due to freezing weather 🥶 I am grateful to be retired during winter. Stay strong and warm 🙏💞
You reminded me of my sweet old neighbors who used to tell me getting old isn't for sissies. They were like my surrogate parents. We had a blast together. He died at 92, and she went 3 weeks later at 89. They took care of each other until the end. I'm the oldest one left on my street, so i guess I'll probably be next to go, although i hope it's not soon. @karengossett1475
My depression/ anxiety is trauma induced and most would not believe I suffer. Totally understand about not leaving the house, I stopped working 7 years ago and I'm not even 60. I pray you stay strong and know that you have got this. The devil is a lie. You are blessed and highly favored, bringing so much joy and comfort to the person you interact with. Thanks for the videos. It's because of you that I watch these kind.
See Al, in reading some of your comments you are not alone many are behind you and understand because a LOT OF US ARE GOING THROUGH IT TOO. So hang in there and just keep taking one day at a time and remember we are here for you. Important thing, keep talking because its healing.
You have a great attitude. You will get through this! Praying for you, Shiloh and the kids. That mirror box looks like your kids could do sock puppet shows in the half moon window. Just a thought. 😉
“One day at a time “ is great advice, in many ways! I used to teach and kids wanted to complete things all at once. Patience is a virtue. Take your time and smell the roses! 🌹 💖
I understand what you are going through. My dad was my best friend and grief is a horrible thing to deal with 😢 It took me awhile to finally just be grateful that I had him as my dad ❤️ Your heart will always hurt but in time it hurts less. I promise 🙏💕
Go slow AL. Take the time you need for yourself and be mindful of you. If it's hard one day, try another day. We are here for you. Take it from this old woman , I struggle, too. I learned some tools to use and incorporated in my daily life, and I'm not crawling anymore. I'm walking. So do what works for you. Prayers and positive vibes 🙏
Al and Shilo, thank you for sharing and being so open and honest with all of us. Love seeing Shilo, its so obvious how much she cares about her family and home...you really are a good team. You are doing things right Al, when that crap gathers in your head, push it out and move on...our head can play tricks on us sometimes. Dont know about you but the weather plays a big part, it was -19 wind chill with 6" of snow last night and more coming SO I NEED to see and smell some green grass about now.🥴 Many blessings, take care...💞 Just reading all these beautiful comments, so many love, care and respect you Al and Im one of them for a long time now.
So glad you are slowly overcoming the depression demons. Lifelong depression sufferer here. I learned long ago to take things one day at a time. Keep up the good work Al, from your friend Al! lol
Good for you Al. Amazing when you take small steps with good support how much you can achieve. Rooting for your success. Your videos are helping lots of folks, I'm sure!
Anxiety and depression are nagging beasts which always need to be tamed. You are doing great because you at least know when extra self-care is necessary. I wish for you continued peace of heart, mind, and soul.
Being aware of your challenges and sharing proves you’re on the right road back . Changing your diet and making more time for your beautiful family will be the way forward . Great to have you back 👍
It's great that you're back to work. You've got a pretty awesome family that depends on you. Don't let the anxiety take them down with you. *"With the joy of responsibility comes the burden of obligation" - Hank Hill*
So good that you opened up! It is a common route of anxiety to be programmed by the brain to latch onto a stressfull stuation and then connect it to where you was at that moment. The child crisis was the trigger, and the home became the unsafe place. So, the golf was the relief! The clue for you is to reverse the comfortzone tothr home and your yardwork and really stop and feel how good it is, right there, inthe moment! ❤️ So, at work, just breathe, feel the goodness and your confidence! Love from Norway😀👍🇳🇴
Thanks for the encouragement and kinship AL ~ anxiety is really something we all deal with from time to time. So glad you have a safe place to rest & reflect.❤🩹
There you go Al, when you feel it coming on take a real deep breath and let go. I know easier said then done, but you got this!! One day at a time. BREATHE.. Namaste. Good to see you. God bless you and your family.
I started watching your other channel first....and it's good to see you back and conquering your "demons" like i said I went thru severe anxiety that made throw up just being around people otger then my family....I went thru counseling and got free from my demons....and it feels good. I'm a people person always have been. We are overcomers!!!🙏🏽
Glad you’re feeling better and going out there and doing some mowing. Also, it’s really good that you were able to work through that anxiety and keep going you’re stronger than me. God bless you and keep up the good work.👍
Al, thank you for sharing with us what you have been going through. You are helping others including myself. There are so many people out there who experience some sort of anxiety in their lives. You have a kind and caring heart. Praying for you and your family. ❤ 🙏
Unstoppable Al!!! You just have the coolest and most supportive family. Anxiety sucks and to have someone so supportive around you such as your wife and kids, makes all the difference in the world. Make sure your water intake is up and that your blood sugar stays even as best you can, I eat a little something every 2 1/2 to 3 hours because sometimes if my blood sugar gets low, I can mistake it for anxiety so whenever I start feeling shaky, I take a bite of a granola bar or something else and like I said, staying hydrated is huge and some people even say when you feel anxiety to start drinking water. Supposedly the blood rushes to your stomach to digest food or water, instead of running around your body, like crazy. Continue to stay strong and fight the fight.💪💪💪
That's all you can do. You have a good support system family/friends backing you and your subscribers too. You have done SO much good for others and you absolutely deserve that back. Been praying for you. I've been watching you for a good while and I very rarely comment but what you do for others is so kind and comes from your heart and soul and it's rare to see people do good with nothing to gain but making others happy. Big fan of the bladez channels. You are truly wonderful people.
Al: Great video, I went thru some tough years myself. Finally started going back to Church and giving all my problems to God and I started to get really blessed and back to normal. Amazing if you give it over to the creator how it can change your life. Worked for me and millions of others. God bless and many thanks for the video.
Al, you are so important to millions of people you will never meet! You are an inspiration and a glimmer of hope that as more and more people watch your videos and watch your beautiful family grow, kindness and grace will replace some of the hate and misery in the world. You are a human who like the rest of us, has you own demons and crosses to bear. Al, your mission on this planet is far more than mowing lawns for those in need for free. You have a high calling. Just continue being you. Be you. Your fans (who feel like we know you personally) love you and appreciate your openness and candid approach to life and the struggles that we all suffer on some level. None are without blemish….but all are blessed. God bless you my friend. From Texas.
I watched the new video on your other channel yesterday, and I actually cheered when you finally got that mower unstuck! I felt like it represents how your life got kind of "stuck" for 2 or 3 months and you've finally started getting un-stuck! Yay!! Thanks for sharing some of your life and thoughts with us -- we're all kind of in this together. 💕
Paving the way for all of us! I would venture to say that most of us have anxieties and that's why we love your systematic transformational videos!! So, you being honest about your anxiety endears you more to all of us.
Good to see you back, concentrate on the good bits and try to leave the down times where it belongs, in the dirt. We all know given time you'll pull through, as do you. Good to see the family are all well and delivering dads lunch boxes. Take care out there.
I went through a phase where I was dealing with anxiety. I got on meds and also take Magnesium Glycinate. Once my nervous system calmed down and my brain cooled off, I got much better. This was two years ago. Now I am out and about running errands and feeling my best. Just keep up with your bloodwork and take care of yourself as best you can. True fan of your channel! Take care.
I'm so glad to see you eating during work ,it's important to eat during your work day ,because your blood sugar can run low an cause you to get weak an fill faint ,so glad to see you taking care of your self an your sweet wife .
Hi AL It's great to hear your positive perspective. In the midst of challenges, looking forward and giving each day your best can be truly empowering. Remembering that Jesus is with you and your loved ones adds strength and comfort to your journey. Keep embracing each day with resilience and faith.
I’m so glad you opened up you don’t realize how much people you help that have depression and anxiety we love you and we want to help you I’m praying for you Al
We all have periods of time for one reason or another we experience anxiety, depression, etc. So happy I found you and your channel, I found you when you did that yard with Spencer and been following ever since. So gald you're doing better. With God all things are possible and he will get you through this this time. Praying you continue to improve and that this year will be awesome!
You sharing in such a candid way, helps me so much. It's good to know so many of us deal with hard times and some times it seems like there's no real rhyme or reason to it. But it's true it's just the world we live in is just unreal. I tend to just take a deep breath and put trust in the creator, who has promised to always be with us. If we only knew who it was beside us all of the time, we wouldn't have any fear. I always try to remember that and it helps me cope a lot better. You have my prayers!!
Al I have a few family members who suffer from anxiety. It's awesome that you can share this info with people. Sorry for all you've been going through, thank God you have a strong family and friends support system. It makes all the difference. God bless you all.
We, as viewers, don't know what you go through. All we mostly see is the good, happy go lucky AL. Not how it really is. It's horrible dealing with it, and no one knowing. So it humanized you in my eyes to being just like us. Most will see you as something as bigger than us, but you are just like us, with talents and a huge heart. It makes you special and knowing that you struggle. I pray for you and hope you get more straightened out everyday. Much love to you and your family
Hi Al I've heard that breathing exercises are really good for anxiety, as is physical activity. Trauma is such a hard thing to overcome, but like everything else, it takes time. You are a good person Al. Love both channels & supporting you.
You’re doing great! Love watching your videos while doing my tasks. One day at a time is doing me great as well. Every baby step towards where I want to go is better than no steps at all. Looking forward to the next 🎉
You found a great yard to start with. It has all of your favorites to do. Be proud . We are here with you and praying for you. You are so lucky to have such an amazing family too.😊
So happy to see you pulling yourself out of that funk and getting back to doing what you love. Hang in there Al, you're stronger than you think. Sending prayers your way. ❤
one day at a time, Good job Al. What is it like to be so loved? and know that because of you so many people have come together and shared there story. Life is not easy, but when we come together it makes it a little easier. Thank you Al, Peace
I love watching this channel. You're a pretty awesome fella! You help so many people with mowing their yards. It seems like there's not many people who want to help others anymore. I know all about anxiety. It can be paralyzing. I'm so glad you're feeling better. You're such an inspiration to me. Be proud of yourself for all you have accomplished these last few months, working your way through this. ☺️💚
Hi Al. Just to share with you, I've had panic disorder most of my adult life. The one thing I have learned in therapy over the years is to control my breathing. If you start to panic, you tend to breath high in your lungs. Like when you are scared by something and take a quick high breath. That releases adrenaline and then it starts the cycle of panic. I learned to sit down, put my hand on my stomach about waist high and slow my breathing down. I concentrate on making my hand move up and down when I breath. Breath low and slow in your lungs. Then I start my 1 thru 5 distractions. Find one thing close to you and name it. Then find two thing that are alike and touch them. Then find three things outside that are identical (like signals at an intersection). Then find four things the same color. Then find five things that start with the letter "S". You pick the letter. This distraction pulls you out of your panic. I usually get to number 3 and I'm OK. Breath low.
I too learned that was the key to stopping an ensuing panic attack -- it's the first to concentrate on & _key_ to eventually stopping them. I couldn't believe I actually overcame that part of things. It also helps in moments of intense anxiety not full on panic & even depression when I mix it with Tai Chi, sessions my biggest tool(!).
Al, I am glad you are feeling better. I have been down the pike with depression and OCD. Just take one day at a time and follow your doctor’s care. Remember, you can’t be all things to all people. Take care of your family and yourself first.
hang in there Al. this has happenned to me multiple times in the past 50 years of my working life. I always got great satifaction out of hard work and then the sense of pride and accomplishment. you are on the right path and will work through this. thankyou for sharing it.back in the day, we never really talked about this stuff we just sank or swam...you are for sure helping a lot of viewers as well as the people who's yard you cleanup!
Glad to have you back Al. God speed on your healing. I went through something similar when my mom passed. It's awful. Leaning on the love of my wife and kids really helped pull me through.
Al- you are great and im happy that you have shared your struggles with us. You may not realize this but many people struggled because of the pandemic lockdowns. Its been hard on the young people. Also i don't know if you are anemic or not - i know you try to eat healthy- incorporate more protein into your diet and if you like raisins or nuts- keep them in your vehicle when you feel like you are getting weak. It has always helped me.
Glad to see another video Al, and that you’re progressing well. You and Shiloh truly are young couple goals, and the artwork on cardboard is precious! One more day, one day at a time truly is the best mind set. Be blessed.❤️
So happy you're back. As you said, take one day at a time. That's all anyone can do. Don't pressure yourself out. That's easy to do these days. Stay strong. Just know you're not alone. Stay sweet and genuine. God bless you and your family.
Yes, rest, take a brake, do finish it the next day, !!!! REMEMBER your health is more important !!!! DON'T Do Anything when YOUR tired, that when you make mistakes, double the work !!!! Plus the S ---- is not going anywhere !! ! THERE'S always the next day, REMEMBER tomorrow will always be a BETTER Day !!! That's what my Momma said to me and its true Love Ya TERESA Hayward California hugs and kisses
You bless us with who you are straight up. God doesn’t give us more than we can handle brother just keep strong on your path and know your videos help me out when I watch them
So glad to see you're getting back on your feet. We are what we eat so quitting fast foods and sugar (salt should go as well) is a major step towards looking after ourselves so we can live a long and healthy life. Take care 🥰
Congratulations on your progress. I’m so happy for you. It’s lovely seeing your whole family. No wonder you can be so kind to people; you have great family support. By the way, you are looking really well-groomed. I had no idea what a handsome person you are. This Nana is impressed. 😉

I think you did a remarkable job today. Everything takes time and yes, we all need to stop and breathe sometimes. You got this Al and definitely...one day at a time. Blessings onto you Al. ❤
One of Kevin’s videos has a voiceover on it that I’ll never forgot:
“Don’t just go through it, grow through it.”
Profound.
If God brings you to it, he'll bring you through it. You're an amazing soul, Al. glad you're starting to feel better ❤️ prayers & blessings

You are looking better and better- and I loved the artwork!!!! You are so blessed with that beautiful family! Take care and stay healthy.
God bless you and all that you do 🙏💝

I’m so glad you opened up you don’t realize how much people you help that have depression and anxiety we love you and we want to help you I’m praying for you Al
So glad you’re back out there and doing better! And your wife is an awesome support system for you…love your precious kids too❣️
I understand what you are going through! You are helping me through your story! 😊 Thank you Al!
We’ve all been down into the pit of anxiety, Al. And we’ve all climbed out, and you will as well. Take care of yourself!
Great video and loved the wife bringing your lunch!!! We love you all ❤️❣️❤️❤️❣️
Hi Al I've heard that breathing exercises are really good for anxiety, as is physical activity.
You are so lucky to have such an amazing family too.😊
Hi Al, It's great to see you pushing through the 1st day back. Yeah one day at a time that's how we do it. GOD bless you.❣
So happy you are feeling better. It's a tough condition to pull yourself out of. Much love to you and your beautiful family!
So happy to see you pulling yourself out of that funk and getting back to doing what you love. Hang in there Al, you're stronger than you think. Sending prayers your way. ❤
Love You Al , Alot of us dealing with the same issues , Keep fighting the Good Fight ! Praying for you and yours . Take your time and be safe !
one day at a time, Good job Al. What is it like to be so loved? and know that because of you so many people have come together and shared there story. Life is not easy, but when we come together it makes it a little easier. Thank you Al, Peace
So proud of you Bladez, and your family is so precious 🥰
Breath low.
Thanks.
Welcome back Al Bladez and family great see everyone again , the family art work is fantastic . Hope to see more . Thanks .🙂
Glad to have you back Al. God speed on your healing. I went through something similar when my mom passed. It's awful. Leaning on the love of my wife and kids really helped pull me through.
You pick the perfect beats to play it's soothing to the mind 👍🏽😎
I’m glad you had a good day, Al. Praying for healing and health for you and your family.🙏 God is our healer.
Happy to see you back at it and so glad you have a great family to help you through. Prayers for you. Love your openness.
We are all with you Al…count on it. Love and light to you and your beautiful family.
Love you Al! 🙂
So glad to see you feeling better about life and back to work. Love what you’re doing to make lives better.
So happy you're back. As you said, take one day at a time. That's all anyone can do. Don't pressure yourself out. That's easy to do these days. Stay strong. Just know you're not alone. Stay sweet and genuine. God bless you and your family.
Yes...focusing on a task or the scenery around me helped me learn how to avert panic attacks. So happy you are learning and mending. ❤
