Totally agree that Tres Nuit is very close to GIT. However, I get loads of violet and lavender from Tres Nuit... but can’t complain with the cost.
I just bought 2nd bottle of tres nuit, very cheap throw on go to, and get lots of compliment, prefer green irish tweed more of course but just walking the dog or out hiking, tres nuit is perfect throw on lol

I just picked up a vintage Davidoff Cool Water by Lancaster in France, it smells very close to GIT. I also have Tres Nuit which is one of my favorite fragrances. Great content and video. Cheers!
I've been using Tres Nuit as my GIT alternative. It's really awesome to see someone with your knowledge, expertise and insight on some of the fragrances I own. I don't know, if you get what I'm saying but it kinda validates it in a way. Thanks again Steven♥️

I have Aspen and LHaramian. I agree that LHaramain smells real close. I like using Aspen as a quick after shower home frag. Its longevity is about 3 hours, but I'm okay with that because it's just for bedtime and it isn't overwhelming. LHaramian pushes and has 6-8 hours longevity for me. Thanks for putting Aspen in there. I think its a sleeper.
I find Tres Nuit more oceanic, however it is very Green and fresh. It lässt 6 hours on my skin.
Yes indeed...you know your stuff..your sharp and spot on..I have Aspen, tres nuit, knight, emerald isle and verbena fields..emerald isle smells just like green irish tweed..its the closest to G.I.T and it last longer than the new watered-down creed...Im trying to save my older 4oz and 2.5 oz bottles of creed G.I.T so instead I use parfums vintage E.I... great video
My no.1 (exactitude + very low price) is Rasasi Egra.
Somehow Rasasi's Egra always seems to be left out. 🤣 And yet side-by-side with GIT I find it to be far closer than Tres Nuit. Still yet to try the Al Haramain version.
It's the same, The S a m e, at least to my last sampler of GIT in 2020.

It is not so high quality, but for the price I am happy I have it. I was wearing it one day in the gym, than a guy came to me and asked what I wear I told him and he said, that if he was a girl, he would have asked for my phone number. I use it as a daily cologne and it last on average 6 h. on my skin.

I only have Armaf Tres Nuit from the entire list. The scent reminds me of cheap cleaning products, and when I use them, many people think the scent comes from these cleaning products.

GIT will always be a winner! From my experience so far, Verbena Fields from Parfums Vintage is the closest to my 2016 batch of GIT.
GIF is my favourite fragrance of all time ,just love the DNA coolwater seems to be the closest to me along with tres nuit loved the presentation of this video thanks 🙏

Some people say that Green Irisch Tweed was actually created by Pierre Bourdon as well. But i think it was never officially revealed.
Green Irish Tobacco by the house of Happyland Fragrances is G.I.T. with a Tobacco note.
It kicks it! Has the G.I.T. freshness in the opening with the nice blended tobacco note that comes through as it dries down.
Very masculine and classy.
I bought Tres Nuit a year ago and loved it, still do. So I thought I should put my nose in GIT. I was severely disappointed. Off my skin it smelled like wet dirt in a heavy way. Really unpleasant. I’ll stick with Tres Nuit.

I'm using Le parfait and I agree I feel like James Bond every time I'm wearing it.
The opening of Le Parfait is very similar to GIT. In the mid it takes more fruity direction.

Aspen is the cologne that got me interested in colognes. I got it as a gift and always loved it and one day looked up similar smelling colognes and discovered it was based on green irish tweed so I bought that and I've loved green colognes ever since. They do smell very similar but there's too main differences. First off Aspen has a very light slight peppery note and also it has a fir/pine/conifer note that isn't present in green irish tweed. That and green irish tweed has a more pronounced ambergris scent on the dry down.

Steven, shame on you! Where is the Rasasi "Egra"? I have both the L'Aventure Knight and Egra. Knight is very similar to GIT I agree and it is perhaps the most rounded clone. Egra however is a bigger scent. Again, very similar to Knight but has better sillage and lasts longer on my skin. Egra is the clone I would buy again as the best GIT clone.

My first time wearing GIT today … I really don’t get the Aspen or Cool Water comparisons ?? My wife has never ask me “ what is that you are wearing ?” With either of those ..
People, myself included we're wearing that in the late nineties, and the mid-2000s. I still wear it to this day. I just can't bring myself to spend the money on green Irish Tweed. I just think it's too much money. Even though I've never smelled green Irish Tweed and I would love to have it. I just think all creeds are too expensive.

@@tanz5389 Art and taste, preference, is all subjective, of course. But yes, I can't get past it enough to wear it ever, though I've tried over and over. (To be fair, I can't wear the Aspen either, though it's slightly better in this regard.) Also, TN has a stamped metal clad cap that has a sharp raw edge on it which is entirely consistent with the terribly low quality of the juice. A $5 buy, maybe, but not more, imo.
Aspen smells nothing like GIT to me. Aspen smells like Polo Green to me
