Explore the Melodic Gardens and investigate to find the origin of the threat looming over this place that was once vibrant with music. Meet the planet’s wild inhabitants, explore the musical jungle and the mysterious ruins scattered around this new biome, and sail through the vast sea and sparkling lakes on your newfound boat. But tread carefully, as new enemies await you on this dangerous path. Golems and Fieldbreakers roam the planet and will provide new tactical challenges, even to the most experienced.
Saving the Melodic Gardens will ask you to face Kanya, the Last Spark Hunter. This highly dangerous and techy villain will stop at nothing to accomplish her nefarious plans. Be aware, stopping her won’t be easy, as she has created an all-powerful never-before-seen weapon: the Mecha King Bob-Omb.

This game deserves much more recognition. The voice acting is impeccable, the gameplay is such an upgrade from the prequel, and it's the closest thing we'll get to Galaxy 3
First one's better.
The voice acting? The robot impersonating a drag queen? And strangely nobody else talks? Yeah no thanks.

It's so bizarre to me that a Mario and Rabbids crossover of all things ends up with such great characters and storytelling.
It changed my view on Rabbids, and it's been one of my favourite series since launch day of the first one.

Mario + Rabbids has some of the most awesome storytelling in all of the Mario universe. If you say it’s not canon, then your lying.
I'd say it has its OWN Canon, like most spinoffs, which is fine, as it gives it more freedom to tell it's own stories and be unique! I do agree the story telling is great btw.

@ArtsuKyuChan I have never played a Rabbid game in my life, so I wouldn't know how they act now compared to how they use to be ( Outside of a Mario game, obviously I know their personalities in that game). I've only ever seen the Rabbids when they had their own Nick show and they were so annoying.

I love this series, and I am glad it's gotten such praise. Well deserved too. The game-play, the characters, the music, the visuals, it's all good. Plus they do these fun DLCs.

You all know that the 1st DLC will be released early, the 2nd DLC will be released mid and finally the 3rd DLC will be released later this year (possibly in December the same with the 3 DLC of Sonic Frontiers)

Mario and rabbids started small, but now it’s really taken off
Man, I'm having so much fun with this game!
I loved the first Mario + Rabbids, but Sparks of Hope improved so many things!
I'm at 55% now, and I'm trying to do everything before the final boss.
If i had to guess, Kanya (the last spark huntress) is probably some sort of discarded spark hunter leader prototype, a beta version of Edge. Cursa probably got rid of her because of how... Erratic she seems to be. Physical similarities aside, remember that what makes Edge special is her free will which Cursa gave her so that she'd be able to command the hunters. If Kanya was meant to be the leader, Cursa probably gave her free will aswell, but it backfired as it turned out she was uncontrolable, and instead of killing her, Cursa just sent her to some random secluded planet.
That does leave two questions : what did Cursa use to create Kanya ? And why does she seem to focus on Mario especially ?
I had theorized that Cursa merged Rabbid DNA with Bowser's DNA to create Edge (Darkmess bowser confirms Cursa has access to Bowser's DNA, and it explains why Edge looks like some kind of Rabbid Bowser). If that theory is correct and Kanya really is a proto-Edge, she was made from Bowser's dna too. And no one wants to gut Mario more than Bowser...

I'm really enjoying the DLCs so far. I hope the game has a long tail so that the series at least gets a third game. Mario Rabbids deserves to be a trilogy.

I've been waiting for THIS!!! Rayman is great and all, but ever since the initial announcement of the DLC waves' content THIS is the one I was most intrigued by (and considering The Tower of Dooooooom was a lot more fun and interesting than I was initially expecting, I have HIGH hopes for this one). Will definitely play tomorrow (today I've got prior engagements I can't reschedule soooo...), should be a BLAST!!!
Mario + Rabbids is a series that we didnt ask for, but needed. And its awesome.
I'm loving the magical forest aesthetic here. Reminds me a lot of the Realm of the Fey world in Miitopia
