You know the lore for EDF 6 actually makes more sense now then in previous iterations. Like with how we can replay older missions but bring better (inferno drops) equipment, it all makes sense due to how we can time travel and interfere with the past. That's why even if we were to bring an assault Barga here, it wouldn't look out of place considering we can chalk it up to time travel.
When you lost or empty ammo the first blue EMC(for only player), additional blue EMC will coming up to 2 times. so EDF spend totally 300 million dollars for only player. EMC will takes 100 million dollar per unit

What the Professor said was interesting This battle proved that history can be changed drastically by having Pandora survive and slaying Glaucus. Think about it, in the previous timelines, key events didn't really change all that much Only minor details have changed in the previous timelines (different numbers, unimportant characters dying) The only detail that could be major is the player knowing the weakeness of the enemy and using that to destroy them (1st time shooting down the teleportation ship for the 3rd time) Other than that, not much has changed despite the Professor trying his hardest to convince the Chief Commander of the EDF and failing. That's why the Professor said what he said at the start of the battle, will Fate find a way to resist their attempts to change it? After this battle, things will change drastically since the Professor and Storm 1 know that they can change Fate Nothing shows this better than the very start of the best timeline
"Its hundred millions of dollars, if only that kind of money could be put into improving soldiers work condition" That's something you can technically do in Global Defense Force Tactic, in that game as the Commander of the GDF/EDF, you can arm your soldiers with the best weapon you can give them, the best tank, the best helicopter. You can almost make every mission not loosing a single one of your soldier. It's something I had wondered as well if the Commander of that game is here instead. Imagine that though, you play as the Commander of the new EDF, non of these soldier that still wears cheap armor, basic guns and normal vehicle would happen. Just far better chances than what the NPC commander had in mind in general even without the time travelling bits lol
Mmm I think it will be interesting if the developers come up with 5 players mode where 1 is commander who command NPCs and other four are front line units style gameplay in future games. Although it will be overwhelmingly complicated for developers to make that kind of mechanic 😆

Now that sounds interesting It's like XCOM where you have to play the long game and decide on which part of the army that you are spending on. I had an idea for an EDF tactical game where you are the Commander for battles and you command your squads of EDF soldiers. If you do well in the battle (complete objectives and suffer very little losses), your soldiers gain experience and their stats improve Eventually, you can field lots of Elite EDF troops that are very much like the Grim Reapers and the Spriggans. And to represent the player characters in the EDF games, you can have a special customisable team much like the Storm team This is the only team that you get to mix and match classes and customise their loadout And this is the only team that can be used to replay previous missions to make them stronger
I changed that one numerous times from "getting killed" to "get killed" and back because I wasn't sure either. So in the end I just left it at "getting killed" 😅 But yea, "get killed" sounds fine to me!
I really like how they got it right to tell a story, but keep loyal to the design of EDF, as a shooter. Have to admit, that i thought the story of glaucus would go a bit different. Like Glaucus becoming a universal threat to aliens and mankind alike, unstopable and the only way is to go back in time again. :)
i thought the part of the carrier we saw in mission 104 was only the bridge part, but it seems like its the entire sub. Kinda doesn't look like 1km long in my opinion
I don't understand why the depth charges sparkle. I don't like the effect. Makes me think of a healing effect in a JRPG. On the other hand, I _love_ the blue EMC. Siren getting yeeted due to physics was the icing on the cake.

It's not region-locked. You can buy the Japanese version and play it on your non-japanese system. Be aware though that the game will still be in Japanese!

Not quite. It's slow, unwieldy against things like Glaucus which can move faster than it can turn, takes forever to call in more than once, and has frankly terrible HP for how big of a target it is, but the dps of specifically mission EMC's are unmatched. EMC's that you call in are sadly just as terrible as they were in EDF 5, with how they have half the dps to the more portable Blazer, much worse range, and limited ammo. However, similarly to how in some missions, any vehicles you find are significantly stronger than ones you can call in (such as the Epsilon Railgun in EDF 5's Imperial Drone mission possibly having over 100k hp when the best one you can call in only has 30k, with massively increased damage to match) the EMC's you're given to fight Glaucus with are better than any weapon, even the Blazer. Also, Mission EMC's also have 12000 ammo compared to the regular 7000, and fire in 500 bursts rather than 1000.
Does anyone else feel the Scylla should have actually been called Siren's instead of the literal Wyvern? They always appear with a theme that sounds like a haunting siren's song

Can the Ranger call for EMC or any other Vehicles in your Vehicle Slot?
@@mystyle_jm8997 The Ranger can call in Tanks, Helicopters and Bikes but I never use it because you lose your armor bonus.

If you played Hard Online, the armor cap is significantly over 2000 (for Ranger). Much higher than in EDF5.

This is my favorite mission in EDF6. It's not particularly hard, but I love the NPCs and the pacing.
