Have a hexblade warlock that is tied to mace, have flail mastery and sentinel feat, if they run, they get knocked prone and it uses all there moment and there action as well because fuck you, then booming blade them to death with the mace, they can't get up or take 2d8 thunder damage, and this was how we cheesed the BBEG

Not really, haste allows you to take the 2nd action immediately. So you just fireball after haste and you still have the extra ac, advantage to saving throws and movement.
Interesting. Seems kind of needless though since haste at most doubles time for you. Realistically, you should age double as fast while under the haste spell but you rarely have haste up for more than maybe 30-42 seconds at a time. Lets imagine you cast it an average of 5 times per day for its full duration (that's a LOT by the way). That's a little more than 6 days off your life span. Keep it up for 10 years and it's two months. I might honestly add that to my games since it will rarely matter, but the mere knowledge that it IS making you older is fun nonetheless.

As a sorcerer I discovered that I could twin spell Haste, I had levels in fighter, and cast it on myself and our fighter, so we were basically two blurs cutting apart a crowd of enemies while the cleric was concentrating on healing the very wounded monk, and the monk was focusing on not dying.
TH3 MIN3R 3000 also haste can theoretically be used to lock down enemies by casting it on them and then ending concentration as a free action, if u want more knowledge of haste
Haste is probably one of my favorite spells, I used it a ton on my sorcerer. Twinned Haste on the monk and two-hander paladin was amazing early on in the campaign. Also, a monk with haste and greater invisibility cast on him was some of the funniest D&D moments I've had lol
Haste in 3rd edition (not 3.5). Coupled with the really broken Timestop at 9th level. Basically broke the game. Because haste allowed you to caste extra spells from the extra action. And timestop gave you 2-5 rounds to do what you wanted. With the right combo, you can suddenly loop together several spells in one round. With some real cheep cheese, you can unload all of your spells in one round. So whenever I see haste, I see the face of my DM when I unloaded all of the fireballs to destroy an army in six seconds.

Was in a campaign once where we had to fight a horde of orcs in a ruined fortress on the outskirts of the city. We managed to disguise our firbolg pitfighter as an orc who asked to join their ranks. The chieftain came out and told the fighter he’d have to pay tribute to join. The fighter proceeded to issue a challenge to the chieftain in a battle to the death, just before which, the fighter drank a potion of haste. Fighter goes first, attacks with his main and then his offhand as a bonus, uses his extra attack and swings again, uses the action from haste to attack again and uses his extra attack again. action surge, attacks again and then extra attacks again. We are now at 7 attacks on one turn, 3 of which were crits. Chieftain falls in one turn and our fighter becomes king of the orcs.

Yanno, once upon a time, haste used to age the character it was used on with every use.
In 3.5 you could cast it on your whole party and it was basically one of the best buffs in the game

Well there the nemesis, who is the main enemy. And then there’s the arch nemesis, who is like the normal nemesis but arch.
