My favourite bit was when after you'd got the shorted component off the board you then proceeded to clean up the pads where the component had been connected by heating the remaining solder on the now exposed pads and flicking it over the board. Sheer genius. 😊
----good job---- but You should tell your audience, injecting power to the motherboard must be done with caution and knowledge where the power is put to, so to avoid damaging the various components
as you see in the video i start inject lower voltage, to the components that getting hot, but you right i should explain that more, next video will try to fix that, thank you

@@SOSfixElectronics Thanks . I never saw using alcohol for troubleshooting on a device . I googled on other videos on the web , and i realized . Evaporates first on the damaged component .

if the chip is getting hot check it for short and replace it
I have the same laptop at first it use to turn on and go off in 2 seconds and now it is dead no light and nothing would you help please
take the motherboard and fallow the 19v see if you can find anything shorted or open
