Cobwebs, what a quaint touch of realism, I thought, until you mentioned giant spiders!😲 Funny, I enjoy dusting my dollhouses much more than my regular dusting! Thanks for another great episode!
Spiders squatting in your dolls house!, the cheeky little so and so’s 😂, I love this kitchen Julie, I enjoyed watching this video as always, tfs x Julie
Of course we will enjoy more content Julie! Thanks for that tip about not sanding the edges of the surround (to get rid of the fluffy bits)😊. I've done that before, and ended up taking too much off like you said, then had to redo them.🤦🏾♀️🤣
Don't you just love being a miniaturist? Not many people get to talk about their dusty bottoms and fluffy bits, at least not in public 😄Another lovely episode Julie.
It's always such a pleasure watching your videos. Besides learning so much from you, I find your calm manner and soft voice, with your lovely accent, just so relaxing. Quite enjoyable! Best of luck with the Fridays, but don't let it stress you out trying to juggle it.
As to your solution to the kitchen chandelier problem: we had to do the exact same work-around on our full sized kitchen chandelier so I think it may be a common enough problem and a common enough fix. It doesn't look too bad either. So no worries.
Really loved this episode. Not watching always in order. Love the kitchen floor…I didn’t notice it in the video where you arranged the tea and cheese on their boards.
Oh dear my heart was in my mouth watching you sand the dining room doors after my escapade with my understairs cupboard door! 😮Glad to see there were no such mishaps….! My dollshouses could do with a dust too! Lovely little episode as always Julie and hopefully you can get to manage your Fridays to do some more on this beautiful house of yours. x
Suggestion: When I need to do a sample of wood stain on a scrap piece of wood, I use a Q-tip (cotton swab) to apply it rather than a paint brush. Since it doesn't need to be finish-quality and is really only for checking color, it's okay if a bit of cotton comes off the swab and on to the wood. And you can toss the swab in the garbage and have less brushes to have to clean in Turpentine/mineral spirits.
Another lovely episode, thank you Julie. I need to give my shop/house a dust, even with the door on it is surprising how dusty it gets and I was also debating whether to glue furniture into place for that reason. You are very busy, and as one of your followers I am very grateful for all the work you do to bring us your tutorials, I hope you still find time to have some down time and relax x
Thank you I really enjoy your videos. I love the kitchen it looks so nice, I made the units too and your measurements are perfect, so pleased with my units, so thank you for those videos. Your door handles are really nice, I need some on all of my doors so I will have to get some. Oh and thanks for my order, really love the wooden floor boards 👍
Thank you so much Suzie, I'm so glad you enjoyed making the kitchen units. I think kitchens are one of my favourite rooms to furnish and accessorise! xx
Hi Desire, so sorry for taking so long to get back to you on this! The measurements of my stair openings are, 105 x 72mm (4 1/8 x 2 7/8 inches). You may need to adjust the width depending on the width of the stairs you are using. :)
Love the work you do on making sure everything is right before installing.
Thank you, Joyce. xx

I'm just glad it wasn't the giant one that got into our full size living room the other day! You have seen me run off screaming! :) xx

Thank you Kath. I know, doors are so tricky to fit it’s awful when something goes wrong. I do hope you’ll sort your understates cupboard. 🤞

Hi Julie hope you're well? 🎉
Thank you, yes, hope you are too. 🙋🏻♀️😘
omg--there's no escaping housework!!
I know! :)
Don't forget to write down what stains and paints you use in each room in your diary.
That's a great tip, thanks!
Julie, is it at all possible to give me the exact measurements for cutting a hole in the floors for the staircases? I hope I am not asking too much.
