Die erste Vinylplatte , die ich von meinen Eltern vor 50 Jahren geschenkt bekam, war Tschaikowski Nr. 1 mit Claudio Arrau. Es ist mir ein außergewöhnliches Vergnügen, eine so zeitgemäße transparente Interpretation zu hören, befreit von allem romantischen Nebel. Die Essenz der Musik kommt so klar zum Ausdruck wie nie zuvor. Ich bin selbst Amateurpianist und weiß, welche Arbeit dahintersteht. Diese großen Werke werden alle Zeiten überdauern, müssen aber immer neu reflektiert und interpretiert werden.Vielen Dank für Ihr Engagement und diese überzeugende Aufführung.

Потрясающе, с какой одухотворённостью и величайшим мастерством Ольга Шепс при поддержке замечательного оркестра под управлением блистательного дирижёра раскрывает восхитительные грани музыкального текста, околдовывая слушателя то торжественно величавым, то завораживающе таинственным, то чарующим душу и пленяющим сердце божественным звуковым морем, погружая публику в волшебный мир музыкальных фантазий Петра Ильича Чайковского. The violinist sat on the end, directly behind the leader of the orchestra, really hates this piece of music 😂😂😂

You looked stunning! More, but not overly confident. Less pretentious than before. Now I can see even better how you express the meaning of the piece and not just underline the notes with a few exaggerated movements. Even though I think you've always done that, but now it comes through even better - Wonderful!

If you listen from 23:55 you get rid of the first movement, a movement that for some reason has become almost impossible to listen to for me. Dont ask me why. But from the second movement all is peace and understanding.
Что-то тревожило композитора, что он такие остервененные басы роялю поручил... Музыка в целом красивая и даже местами нежная, но на басах рояля что-то жуткое передаётся... Может война или даже будущие войны в родных пейзажах??..
