I have been dying to renew my 1970 kitchen! It takes courage to tackle this type of job, but Leigh-ann Allaire Perault showed me the way to do it. Now the question is, "am I courageous enough?" I don't think so. I guess I will always watch her do her miracle tricks and keep admiring her talent of transforming the old to new. I don't mind spending some money that I had saved purposely to renovate my kitchen, but I need a person like Leigh-Ann! My situation is a very hopeless situation!!! All I do is taking notes and pictures of designs that's about it. HELP, HELP!!!! ON another note, thanks to Cityline and Tracy for inviting and presenting such talented designers who are exceptionally outstanding. I'm so proud to watch this program and can't wait for Thursdays to come so I could watch in Ah all the wonderful Home week episodes. Just saying thank you will be so understated for all what you provide to your audience. Way you go TRACY!
LOVE the NO SANDING LIQUID! 💜💜💜 The idea has lessen my procrastination in repainting our lower cabinets from this kiwi green (previous owners’ choice) to something more of a neutral color/shade! Thank you @cityline
Allison - Did you catch the brand? I am searching for some of the items she used in the actual project which is quite lovely but I am not having much luck.
Have Seen these Product's, By Rustoleum, as well as the Demonstration's, This Look's So Professional, and Easy To DO. The Hardware, Look's Very Nice as well. TFS !!
lovehope3753 with long delay but maybe it helps someone, most of the products used are Rustoleum (I believe you can find them at Lowes). Also, something she doesn’t say but preparing the surface involves a bit more work than shown here. Without a correct prep the paint peels off. The countertops usually involves a 2 parts epoxy treatment and 3 coats with light sanding in between, long drying time and good air flow. These were tips for a lasting makeover
I have been trying to find Rustoleum's Mica White Countertop Restoration as she shows in the actual project, its listed on their website but you can't buy it direct, Lowes in Canada lists it on their website but again not as a purchasable item and I cannot find it on any US websites. I am trying to contact Rustoleum direct with little success, Wah!!
Good to know you can paint the counters....love the 'granite' sparkle! I think the tile painted all one color was a mistake....I've done a faux white brick wall in my living room and a faux tile backsplash in my kitchen in cream, greys, tans n blacks...ppl don't believe it's only painted on...they always have to feel it to believe it!
I painted foam "bricks" bought on Aliexpress. When I asked the guy (who did renovation in our kitchen and knew what was this material) to hang a to-do list on the plywood wall covered with these "bricks" he started to look for a drill suitable for a brick wall ;) He laughed at himself ;)
When she said that summer was over in September, I had to look up where this show was located. Now it makes sense. I live in Atlanta Georgia and summer can go until Christmas. LoL 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Fabulous ideas. I've been studying ways to resurface my Formica countertops, and Rustoleum Stoneffects looks like the easiest, most risk-free treatment. However, I looked online at Amazon, Lowe's and Home Depot, and it's not listed at their websites. Where can this product be purchased or ordered?
Wonder if the counter top products would work on the tiles or is there anything in the market which will hide the tiles all together & give that smooth high gloss finish.
Ok, so I have been looking around the internet trying to find the stoneffects product, all I see are only Canadian retailers. Any suggestions on how to obtain it in U.S.?
There are some great peel and stick products out there nowadays renters can use. Backsplash, wall paper which can be put on the cupboard door fronts, even countertop ideas.
So much white reminds me of death. I had to take my fiance off of life support a year ago after a massive stroke. He was wrapped up in white blankets, and that stood out in such a bad way! I can't finish watching this either.
Get references for painting cabinets!!! My friend got ripped off big time. Nothing was done on time by months, he kept blaming some supposed employee for the paint cracking at seams and the doors don't close tight any more, The corner lazy-Susan doesn't full turn and the corner door can't close at all. This talent cost her a couple thousand dollars. She's not a pushy person so he has gotten away with it. I thought he should be taken to small claims court but she won't.
I would think that the chemicals in these products would not be very environmentally friendly. I like the idea of not sending a whole kitchen to the landfill and spending thousands of dollars to install a new one.....but I have heard that these products smell terrible...not good to be living in a home with all these chemicals floating around and outgassing.
This video is so sad!! I can't believe she painted over the beautiful natural wood trimmings! She should have painted the cabinets only white, left the wood edges, and rather than those ugly plastic binds, she should have put in some nice wood blinds. Probably spending the same; if not less, and it looking SO much better!
This starts with not one ad, but two: is there no end to UA-cam's greed? And then, we strain to hear the presenter over some demented drumming. How to make videos that nobody wants to watch. At least, not more than two minutes.
My favorite episode! Loads of useful tips! 👌🏾😁🥰
So glad you liked it!

That tile stencil is a genius idea
They have grout-able peel & stick tiles!! The grout makes them look 100% real ceramic 👌 😊 Loved the countertop!

Wow! Can you use the Stone Effects on a bathroom counter? Would love to try this product in my master bathroom. Thanks for the great ideas!
Wow...great products
Great video with great examples...xo

Tracy Moore makes that dress look like a weekend in the French Riviera.

I would love these amazing products in South Africa!
Please I would love to have the products detailed (links) thanks!!
This is a great update.
The backsplash "before" looked much nicer that "after"
Wonder if the counter top products would work on the tiles or is there anything in the market which will hide the tiles all together & give that smooth high gloss finish.
What kit did she use for the cabinets?
Jill Touchstone she used the Rustoleum Cabinet Transformations kit. You can find it at Home Depot in two sizes.
Very, very good.
That is "AMAAAAAZING"! oh brother.....
In another video she said to use gloss off. What’s the difference between this Rustoleum deglosser & the gloss off?
I like the stone effects idea but can it stand a hot pot from time to time....?
Can any other non stone counter for that matter. Likely, No, but most can't afford real stone.
I think they should've stuck with the original backsplash. It looked better and could've saved them money
I agree. With the color scheme she chose, the original tiles would have looked good as well. I still like the overall look though.
I wrote this before reading comments. Fully agree. Now it looks boring and flat.
Where can we find the stoneffects epoxy clear coat?
Diamond Home Improvement, Lowes and Home Depot.
Amazing
Preferred the original opalescent backsplash tile.
Beautiful transformation..... however I Don't have an extra 1000.00 to do such a project unfortunately....
Would like a vendor for Stoneffect in US please.
Rustoleum Stone effect is sold at Diamond, Lowes and Home Depot.
Can y’all tell me what the no sanding solution is called? Thank you!
It's part of the Cabinet Transformations Kit.
Honey Bunny
Thank you!
It's called stone effects clear coat.
I want my 1000 bucks back! Maybe $300 at the most for this apartment basic look
AbundantLiving for the 150 tile paint I could’ve gotten new subway tile.
A lot of counter top and tile paint are so expensive.
Under $1000.00 dollars?! That's not cheap to me, that's very expensive.
Hi! Can I higher you to do my kitchen!!?? Plssssssssss help!!!!!
Ok, so I have been looking around the internet trying to find the stoneffects product, all I see are only Canadian retailers. Any suggestions on how to obtain it in U.S.?
I can't find it either
Its at Home Depot! I'm cant seem to find the clearcoat she used tho!
Great ideas if you aren't renting.
There are some great peel and stick products out there nowadays renters can use. Backsplash, wall paper which can be put on the cupboard door fronts, even countertop ideas.
way too much white for my taste.
It's mostly good for a dark house like mine but I can understand it being too much if your house is nice and bright.
That ONE counter (to the right of the stove) left unpainted?
I think that's supposed to be an accent or maybe a "cutting board" counter. That's my guess 😅
Butchers block
So much white reminds me of death. I had to take my fiance off of life support a year ago after a massive stroke. He was wrapped up in white blankets, and that stood out in such a bad way! I can't finish watching this either.
Show products longer....
Peel & Stick tile will shift over time
I hope my lady dont watch this video. Cheese is gona made me do the kitchen cover again!🤗

Sorry I accidentally hit dislike button..... I watch your videos all the time and learn a lot!

$1,000 for that? Any you have to do the labor yourself? no way, yecchh
