Im so excited. The Fiesta ST will be my next car. Living in Germany with a lot of Forrest around and narrow roads with tight turns this seems to be the perfect little fun machine.

I had the entry level fiesta... A 2010 model and I had so much fun in it... The fiesta has been the best looking and the most fun car to drive for a very long time now and it just gets better and better... My fiesta got written off in an accident but I want another one, no other car can fill my fun factor like this car... Amazing.

Got the exact same model, with LSD, got it 2 weeks ago after waiting 3 months. I can tell you, it's a blast! I am so happy driving it and it always makes me smile. And those pops and bangs are better then morning sex, or almost as good as it.
The EcoBoost engine is simply brilliant and the reason i fell in love with the concept. Its got plenty power for a small nimble car yet runs genuinely surprisingly economic while youre not trying to.
Too bad we won't get it here in the U.S. 😞

Man I love this car, really puts a smile on my face, cruising on the motorway or down the country roads, took it to REVO for a stage 1 remap and is now running 258bhp and it's quite nippy especially the power to weight ratio. Definitely one of the best performance cars Ford have made

@@harrycrinnion5351 time will tell, considering a stage 1 on the Mk8 ST is more than a stage 2 on the Mk7, it's clear that it's much more capable, pumaspeed, Revo, Peron have all have very consistent power gains they're all pretty much very similar power outputs but Revo have the most torque output, but so far so good
Just got my 2019 Fiesta ST this week! Same specks than the car on this video with that amazing performance blue colour! I love it! ❤

Steven Juris did a quick bit of reading.. seems Ford has finally fixed the Powershift transmission. I wasn’t aware of that
Akkbar just in time to stop making them. Apparently that’s their fix.
The transmission issue was not applicable to the Fiesta ST since that car is only manual. The bad transmission is the DPS6, which is an automatic.
Was waiting for Harris to review this car. Convinced me to put down a deposit, cheers 👍

This should have been the ONE car FORD kept making in the US, even if it's just the ST trim. As a 18' Fiesta ST 5 door owner, I can say even that version has a lot more punch around town than expected. Lotta fun in the city / Amazing on stop sign free back roads...

‘The Jinx’ loads of people around were I live (Solihull) have done the same. Seems to be a lot cheaper. The wife’s got a 2019 fiesta st and loves it. She’s had a 16 ST a 17 ST and now this one. They are brilliant little things. She averages 42mpg on a 32 mile round trip every day. Which is much better than my 17mpg....
Jaguar 1991 - The main reason I went with the ST Line is the fuel economy. I do 18k a year mostly on motorways. I have a heavy right foot but with 14k now on the car while on the motorway I pop on the eco button and I am getting over 50 MPG. Take the boring button of and fun on the A/B roads. I wonder on a decent 50 mile motorway journey how economical it would be and still have the power/fun... 🤔
‘The Jinx’ ive done a few 400 mile trips in my st and managed 49 mpg on the motorway on cruise at 70
I recently bought a mk8 st3 with the performance pack as standard power goes it goes quite well,I had mine remapped by revo & what a difference it made its now 250bhp and 385nm of torque proven on a hub dyno 😀

I just bought a 2019 Fiesta ST US spec.(We can't get new ones here anymore) I've put 120 miles on it in the first 4hrs of ownership, and I'm keeping this one forever! ;)

Tempted to chop my mk7 Gti in for one had the prev mk7.5 st was great fun
If you haven't done it -- do it. Went from a Mk 7.5 GTI Performance to a Mk 8 Fiesta ST. Only thing I occasionally miss is the radar cruise. Everything else? Fiesta is *much* more entertaining -- while still perfectly viable as a daily driver.

About 10 years ago I had the opportunity to be a professional driver In Sicily for a month and a half Driving my boss and people of his ilk. I did allot of the roads that were used in various Targa Florio races through the years. I drove a Renault R5 and I officially got to check something off my bucket list. Now I have a Fiesta ST and I can't stop thinking about the "B" roads around Messina, Syracuse, Catania and Palermo. The Fiesta ST would be sublime.

If the Fiesta uses Porsche Recaro designed inspired seats: racing bucket seats with thin reinforced padding as cushion whereas the frames on the insides of the seats use premium-quality grade lightweight aluminium frame and mesh-work, the Fiesta would have an even lighter in weight interior aspect. No thick seat padding for cushion, use thin reinforced padding instead for the seats. You end up with more interior space as well. More plus-plus, so to speak. The lighter in weight the Fiesta is, the faster the Fiesta gets. A matter of optimizing the weight-to-forward traction distribution ratio (drag coefficient, too?) in order to achieve optimum down force with little air turbulence resistance as possible from way up front.
My wife needs a new car, she has Zetec, sure she won’t mind the ST.....

I have a 17 model ST3 and I've just ordered the new one.
Ordered one yesterday for the last production line...... Now I also have a GT86.....these two cars will follow me to the death...I think not to buy any new "fun enjoying" car in future. I don't like electric for fun so I'll stay with GT86 and fiesta ST, both in white:)

Totally agreed. This and the previous M2 are the only cars I would(did buy an M2) consider buying new, the fiesta is even more fun than the M2, more of the time.

Got the long wait till November to get my ST3 with performance pack and B&O system......
Impossible. Ive had my ST almost a year now. And the delivery time was 7 months last year.! But after 1.5 months my car was delivered.
It will be worth the wait. I ordered mine (a ST3) July 2018 and only got it 2 weeks before Christmas. Most of the delay was getting onto the production line. Once they started building, it was built and shipped to the dealer in the Uk in a couple of weeks so they can sometimes surprise you.
I'll get mine in 1 week! Hope it will keep the promises

My 208 GTI pulls hard already from 1300 rpm.
If your driving the car everyday around town and such you want some low end grunt.
Its power is delivery evenly throughout the entire rev range, so its low RPM might is as powerful as ever.

Torque is unbelievable on these. About 1500rpm is the minimum, anything below that and you feel the lag, but the torque on this little engine is great. Very similar to the 208 GTI
The fact that they didn't bring the new focus and fiesta to America after fixing virtually every problem that kept them from being sold in the past is a crime against humanity.

As good as the Fiesta ST is, its got too much of a boy racer/hooligan image now in the UK. Nearly everytime I see one, its got some crap decals on it with after-market exhausts that are too loud. They just rev at red lights and sometimes drive up and down the same street a few times for some reason.

Ford seems to be building the best hot hatches at the moment..! I like them!
Reinforced lightweight carbon-fibre wheel rims (frames or "velg roda mobil" as we say here in Indonesia) and road-grippy tyres would make the new Fiesta even faster, under 6 seconds from 0 miles per hour to 60 miles per hour... possibly 5.5 seconds, even, I guess...
