I feel like I still have questions. If Jesus lived life single, and that's our argument to gay couples, shouldn't we all be single by that logic? If we all want to live like Jesus, wouldn't that be asking all of us to leave our spouses, regardless of orientation? And if a gay couple got married and then went through divorce, doesn't God hate divorce?
My thoughts exactly. I have questions as well. What if someone is already married/comitted in a lgbt relationship? What if someone's journey isn't a celebate one? What makes a same sex relationship different from a hetero relationship in the eyes of God?
Jesus DIDN'T actually live life as a single person. He is betrothed to US, the church.(John 14:3-10) His WEDDING wedding supper of the lamb" will be taking place as the Earth is going through the Tribulation. (Revelation 19:6-9) If Jesu had been in a romantic relationship while he was on Earth, that then would have been Adultry, therefore do qualifying Jesus being perfect and the savior of mankind. This teaching of "Jesus wasn't married," or "Jesus was single" is a misunderstood is a false narrative.
Honestly. Yes. I'm a transgender Christian and I felt like I wasn't welcome in my religion. The thing is versus against lgbt are almost all in the old covenant. The old testimant has so many conferging views. What matters un Christ's message. Love others and welcome them. Jesus did away with the old covenant. That's why it doesn't make sense to say gay people can't be Christian
Jesus did away with PARTS of the old covenant. Please read 1 Corinthians 6:9-12. What eve is repeated in the NEW Testament that the Old Testament says, it still applies.
Jesus didn't do away with the Old Covenant, He fulfilled it.
Nobody in the world loves gay people more than Jesus Christ. He is willing to accept you just the way you are. All you have to do is believe Jesus died on the cross for all your sins (past present and future) and you will go to heaven; no matter what sin u do it is still forgiven

You know, since the church "is a haven for sinners," then the church NEED TO put rules in place that even no two people of the same gender should ever be left alone. A third person needs to be in the room for accountability as "a haven for sinners" should tell you that even gays go to church! I personally have seen it time and time again and I was even threatened with a restraining order from a pastor when I said it...EVEN THOUGH his own church flier to offer to be volunteer asks, "Are you a practicing homosexual?" Not very sinner in this area of life is going to church to seek help to get out of that lifestyle. You can even be persecuted from someone who CLAIMS to know the Lord! I have been, MANY TIMES!
I'm not sure anyone can answer that question the religion has been so twisted distorted it would probably be unrecognizable from its original intent.
Can you...(As in, is it possible?) Biblical answer is yes. Can you...(As in, is it permitted by God?) HELL no.
Here’s my understanding on this, when you are born again the Bible says
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
II Corinthians 5:17 NKJV
“it is He who has also put His seal on us [that is, He has appropriated us and certified us as His] and has given us the [Holy] Spirit in our hearts as a pledge [like a security deposit to guarantee the fulfillment of His promise of eternal life].”

We are given God’s spirit as a guarantee. Before we are born again, we are spiritually dead and we just follow our fleshly desires. Now a born-again Christian with God spirit living in them can now choose to follow either to walk in the spirit or walk in the flesh, to follow the desires of the flesh or of the spirit. Now as far as being born gay or becoming gay. Some are from parents sins. In John 9:3 AMP “His disciples asked Him, “Rabbi (Teacher), who sinned, this man or his parents, that he would be born blind?””“Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but it was so that the works of God might be displayed and illustrated in him.”
And some because of the sin of rebellion towards God. "For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men
with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.”

Question: can you have a female pastor??

Can you be conservative and gay?
What a lovely person and im sure God will uphold and honor him. At the same time, this seems like such a shame. A self-proclaimed path of suffering and so much energy used to deny himself a loving marriage. Where instead that same energy could be used to actively love and help others; do tangibly peoductive things. Christ says what you do to the least of these you do to me, did you feed me, did you clothe me? Surely there are better ways to 'suffer' that actually help others and doesn't destroy oneself?
Also is this an attractive gospel to lgbt people? Sounds like this person grew up in a place where internalized homophobia and shame would affect his view on a healthy way to express and affirm his sexuality. So it is no wonder that in the midst of that, and a fruitless pursuit of promiscuity, that he would find salvation with Christ most compatible with celibacy.
Just spoke thoughts. Ultimately the grass is greener where you water it, so i pray he has peace and joy in his pursuit of Christ regardless of how he views his sexual orientation.
A phobia is a fear. Justice os not afraid to speak the truth. Please read 1 Corinthas 6:9-12. The bible is VERY CLEAR open the homosexual issue.
There’s no place in the Bible that says being gay is a sin. If you’re interested in this, and you should be, do the hard work. Read the many books that discuss both sides of this question. There is more theology for slavery being ok in the Bible than homosexuality being a sin.

Islam mean "submission" to God
( The above verse saying is that God will not accept a religion from the >MUSLIM< and the Non-Muslims but total "submission" to God )
