It really is, it's totally different.
The first houses are really nice. I wouldn’t want to buy a house in Nicaragua, I think the best option is to rent, in case something happens, you just pick up and go, instead of being tied down by owning a place.
I like it more when you walk around while you talk than the stationary ones videos you make sometimes tbh.
I prefer walking, too. It's just a lot harder to do :)
There are so many great rentals. Really no need to buy, although buying offers great opportunity these days with the market value.
Do you know if it floods when it rains? In nicaragua, when it rains- it rains for days non stop and places can baddly flood! How far is this location from cathedral de leon? I love your videos, please post some more on this homes!

Hello Alan, I have been watching your videos. Does the city of Leon offer public swimming pools for avid swimmers?
The country has some public pools, but they are few and far between. Swimming is not a cultural thing here. For people who like to swim, which are rare, they tend to have private pools. There are water parks available. The city to the north, Chinandega, has a public pool downtown. But that's the exception. Leon has the ocean, though.
But "swimming" isn't a thing here, at all. Pools are for lounging, not swimming in Nicaragua.
I only like pools for lap swimming, not... hanging around in while wet. I've always found that weird. So I never use pools here because I don't enjoy them.
No walls or bars on windows or doors
There are, look closely. It's just not where you expect. I need to do a video on this, too. Houses with bars on teh doors and windows is because there is no glass! They are wide open. Without bars anyone can just wander in silently. These houses have glass windows, so you don't need bars.
Do you have to pay yearly taxes on property , like in the US?
Yes, but the rates are very low.
You stated installing water in new section . What about sewage. Don't see amount of land for septic system. What comes in must go out?.
Municipal water treatment, I would assume.
