8:50 The audio issue was caused by the save game loading since save games are a hack and the save function obviously wasn't done properly.

Hey.. in the old version of this.. you could select to save on the SD card itself. I’m referring to the games where it was Mandatory to have a memory card to save. But this cartridge allows you to select which type of save you want.. either on an actual memory card.. or SD backup. I’m not sure if the one you show in the video can do that or not

I think it’s one of those games that’s aged really poorly. I played it a few months ago and honestly it was almost unplayable.

Is this any different to the Everdrive 64 v2.5 clones like the Super 64 and ED64 Plus that have been available for years? OS and features look identical, except it's missing the 'N-P' region switch.
Protip; Swap out the included NES emulator for the latest version of Neon64. Just keep the filename the same - EMU.NES.
The one that's there is an old version of Neon.
Really wanna get one of these since they're dropping in price at a consistent rate becoming more affordable

340 in 1 are most of the time all the same.
Biggest difference is the switch on top & the LEDS in the cardridge.
I still have the old red one Super 64, but I'm hoping to get the pro version since the newer firmware has better game compatibility.

Ow no I mean depends of the file size.
Only did notices even big games load within 10 seconds.
Where with Sega / SNES everdrives from china there we do have that 1 - 3 min deleting / writing situation.
@@WickedGamerCollector Those are the old versions that write the game to flash rom then run it from there. The new ones write the game to some RAM in the cart and run the game from it so instant loading.
This feels clunky and ancient for me (you need memory packs for this?) to even bother to use but i can understand some people like the nostalgia of using legacy hardware, also can this thing even load ROM hacks? Especially the mario 64 ones 🤔
Hmm that cart looks like the ED64plus Cartridge just newer design. Even the flaschcart bios/menu file says ed64p.
Afaik it must be an Everdrive 1 clone. The need of pressing reset to save the save file tells me its the same as the ed64+.
It should also have the need that you patch some of the copyprotected games and it should miss a real time clock.
I think the best and cheapest option to go when u want a flashcard for the N64 is the open Source Summercrad64

Would love to get myself one of those.
There are most of the time much better quality and comes with many more features.
And most important instant load regardless the game size.

I've heard you don't need to press reset in order to save and it can play Animal Forest as well has having more mapper support.
The build quality is also much better compared to an ED64+.
I have this one and you can run 100% of the games, also 64dd games. And its half price

The everdrive can also play 64dd games but in n64/z64 formats.
The knock offs can only run 99.99% of the games as Animal Forest is the only game to have an RTC which the everdrive supports.
What I like compared to the knock offs is the build quality and support for more mappers.

On ED64 plus Pokémon Stadium 2 have graphical issue, on this model work well ?

Nice can play those thq/aki WWF and WcW Rom Hacks . That got to be sweet. If someone owns an N64 as their main console , they can get the emu NES/SNES/gbc on that cart
