Great tutorial....thanks for taking the time to show step by step that's easy to follow, especially for the non-mechanicals, like me. ❤️
Glad it was helpful!
We've been waiting for so long for a new Animatronic Halloween tutorial and I have to say I'm not dissapointed ! This is such a great project and so scary. The display you have created at the end is just AWESOME !!!! Congratulations !!!
Thank you so much!🪦☺️🧟♂️
Great prop and awesome directions on how to put him together! Thanks Isaac! Toby is cute!
Any time!
After the witch and the cauldron, i have been waiting for another animatronic creation of yours! This is absolutely awesome!! Watch your step kids cause its coming!! Great work!!! ☠️ 🎃
Thanks a bunch!
I love all your work especially all your monuments now I like this one too
very good tutorial for beginners with animatronics! ❤
Thank you! Cheers!
Like your presentation. The organization is stellar.
Thank you so much ! 🎉
The plastic wrap and spray paint really brought it to life
Yes it did!!
I love this !! It came out amazing!
Yay! Thank you!
Great job, Isaac!
Thanks!
Great video. Very clearly explained. Make sure you put a cover over the motor controller for outdoors.
Good tip!
Thank you for showing people how to build an animatronic! I have built 3 so far this year and save some $'s and its one of one! People dont know how easy it can be.
@@synshadows25 exactly, it can be very easy with the right guidance,😊
I began watching your channel a few years ago when i began the never ending project of home haunting 😅. I must say that your videos have come a long way since the beginning. So congrats and kudos to you!
@@frightonfloyd Thank you so much! Glad you’ve been here for the long ride!
You've inspired me.
The rotating arm doesn't need to control just one movement. I think three might be fun.
Glad I could inspire 😊
I have an elaborate pirate skeleton setup that I add to year over year and I think I'm going to use this concept to make a drunk pirate crawling out of the bush
I think it would look amazing!
That is something you don't already have. Someone said Frankenstein meets.... You should make classic horror props like Frankenstein, Wolfman, mummy, Dracula, witch. I know you do have an animatronic witch with a cauldron. But you could make another one. Anyway love the video as always. 🧡🤎💛🍁🍂🎃👻
Love that !
You could dip Toby in Monster Mud and make a cool statue from him. Just make sure he’s growling first.😁
Omg lmao 🤣 he wouldn’t like that
Wow! This was an excellent tutorial! You made it Clear and Easy to understand!! I don't feel intimidated to try it! Thank you! 😊 Your props are Awesome!
Glad it was helpful!
Toby is awesome! More videos of Toby please! lol
I’m on it!
I’ve wanted to do this animatronic ever since I saw it 6 years ago. So cool! Thanks Isaac and looking forward to this year’s Halloween video from your beautiful home! 🎃👻
Well it’s TIME you make one! I hope you’re able to do it this year
Great idea and good video but just a couple of suggestions. Since the bolt is such a tight fit on the wiper motor arm hole, a washer is simply not needed there, especially an oversized one. As for the other nuts on that bolt, you should either double nut them to lock them in place or use a drop of Lock-tite blue to hold them in position. Just leaving them loose like that will allow them to move and move they will, possibly causing the prop to either jam up or fall apart, neither of which is desired. I planned on building a witch and cauldron this year although that may be delayed, I will be using your witch design for a foundation for mine so thanks so much for posting that one.
Thanks for these tips! I’ll make sure to use them on my next props
Great video, this will be a great addition to my cemetery scene, thanks 👍🏻
Glad you liked it!
This is the best video I've seen on making an animated skeleton, thanks, I'll be doing this this year
@@DaciaandtheDude Thank you for the kind words!
Spooky is right!!! Definitely gave me chills so job WELL done!!!💙🎃
Yay! Thank you!
Oh wow! That is exactly what I needed for my graveyard! Easy peasy😊😊😊I think you have inspiration for your next book.....Cletus and Toby's Halloween adventures!😁😁😁
Haha I’m sure it will be a great book! 😊😊
Very cool! I love homemade animatronics. Always so interesting to see others creativity. I would have loved if the eyes glowed. Have you ever tried the led eye sets that they sell? They make the eyes come to life and I think I have even seen led on the inner cavity to give it more creepiness.
Cool idea! I need to try that
Another great video!
Thanks again!
I’m building this. I’m not even one minute in and it already looks amazing❤🎉
Yay! Thank you! If you need any extra help let me know
@@IsaacAlexanderDIY thank you
Great instructional video. I also ran a line to the bottom jaw so it opened and closed.
Ooooo love that! I need to do that
Very nicely done!
Thanks 😊
The corpsing you did on your skeleton really looks good. Thanks for letting us know about the monster motor kit! That's so helpful. Also the tip about great stuff on the joints is good too.
You bet! Glad you enjoyed
That's fun
Indeed!
Its really hard to not look at your arms 😅 💪@IsaacAlexanderDIY
@@IsaacAlexanderDIY😍
I would also put a headstone behind your skeleton so it looks like he is crawling out of his own grave making it extra creepy!
Love that idea !
Toby or not Toby, that's the question 😁
You did a Nice job as always 😊
Haha thanks
I really love your work on your videos every time they come out if you want to and I take pictures step-by-step, which are doing so I can do the same thing thank you so much for your. I don’t have no small children to support you in your books, so sorry about that.
So happy you like my tutorials! Thanks for being here
I LOVE TOBY!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Me too!
awesome! love the new animatronic! about time!
I know!!😆
okayyyy Mad Scientist Isaac, its giving technique!! I think this might be the creepiest creation yet!
Creepy P🅰️sta is my middle name
Frankenstein meets Living Dead.. in the making.. Kreeeeeepy!😈😈. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👑
Is Toby going to be in the next children’s book? Him is sooo cute❤ Toby and Cletus 😂😂
Haha love that idea
@@IsaacAlexanderDIY most welcome Sir 🙏🏼🙏🏼👑
Great tutorial! Thank you for sharing!
You are so welcome!
I’ve still been experimenting with the spooky cacti, now I want some crawlers too 😂
Yessss
Awesome!!!! Love it
Thank you! Cheers!
omg!!! i want Toby lol
He’s the best
Wow very creepy and cool. Another great idea and prop for your fantastic Halloween display. Awesome job and again thank you for such great detail and walking us through the step by step process. I love your little garage visitor and the end. Much better than the last one and not as cranky. At least this one didn't bite you, and Toby was very cute not like Cletus he was not my type at all too slimy. Have a great day and happy Falloween 🧡🤎💛🍁🍂🎃👻
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the creepy vibes and the step-by-step breakdown. That little garage visitor definitely has a better attitude, haha! Toby's a sweetheart, unlike Cletus-but I get why he's not everyone’s favorite. Thanks again for your support, and have an awesome Falloween too! 🎃👻
Tony the red fox 😍
He’s the best
😮😮😮😮 Wow! Amazing project😍
🎃☺️❤️🧟♂️
Exelente
Gracias!
Fox on the run.....
Yes lol
❤ HALLOWEEN 🎃
☺️
Thanks for sharing again! This is great! I’ve ordered 5 of both of your books. Got friends with kids who will enjoy
You rock! Thank you so much for the support. I really appreciate it. If you do get a moment, would you mind leaving an Amazon review? Reviews help an author so much! Thank you again for getting so many books !
@@IsaacAlexanderDIY woot! Got them!!
That is so cool!!
Thank you so much !
Thank you so much !
Going to try this with a glow in the dark skeleton and corpse it a bit and put a black light on it..
Great idea!
Scary Cool!
Thanks
Excellent tutorial! My only modification would be @12:38 would be to use Nylock nuts to ensure that the nuts would not slide up or down on the bolt. I would also get a small cover of some sort to cover the motor controller, it keep it weatherproof.
@@nohandle227 Thank you so much for that tip!
How would you cover the motor controller as to not restrict movement?
Sweeeeeeetttttt.....!!@@
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
☺️
❣️So cool!!!!!💀👍🏻🦊🥰
Thanks! ☺️☺️
You're welcome.
Hello, is the motor rainproof? thanks in advance
from France
GOOD JOB !😊
Yes, it is! But I normally cover it with a cup of something so the rain doesn’t directly fall on it
😱😱😱😱
☺️☺️
And now a book about TOBY
Hahah yessss
Don't be mad, but... Why do it look like Scotty McRotty getting the good good from the back? I mean... Even the eyes...😂😂😂
Also hey Toby! 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
Love it! It the power mechanism setup weatherproof?
It is but I cover it anyways with a something to prevent direct rain contact
Any tips on what to do if the motor doesn’t work after connecting all the wires? I’ve double checked all my connections. I’m hoping the issue isn’t a faulty motor
@@JoeCarlson-y5i if it’s from monster guts, they replace the motor if it’s within a certain time period
Great build! Did you sacrifice an ultra poseable skelly head for your prop?
No no this head is from Big Lots skeleton ☺️
Just a heads up. for some reason, the 1/4in carriage bolt you suggested isn't fitting through the small hole of the piece attached to the motor that came from Monster Guts
@@checkyourhopper oh no! Really?
Do you mind showing me via pictures or videos by sending it to my email so I can see the problem?

The monster guts is $70 🤦🏼♀️
@@lisamichaels5493 lol yes, yes it is
Does the cable connected to the skull get screwed into the base, or is it attached to the motor? I’m wondering if it’s possible to use two cables so the skull could move in multiple directions?
What kind of wire is that
I’m looking for a similar Skelly skull with white eyes. Can you point me in the right direction please?!
It’s from BigLots
www.biglots.com/product/5-led-poseable-skeleton/p810523295?srsltid=AfmBOoqlNTW1wl8GoOIap7CDSiQkIgRbAhXtVMj7TFe5CY00ZigkgvjY
awesome job. I love easy step by step your videos are. please keep them coming.
Thank you! Will do!
That's so creative :)
Thank you! Cheers!☺️☺️
Add some glow n the dark paint to the eyes that would be sick
Great tip
Great Chanel!
Awesome. This may be this year's project for me!
Do it!!
@@IsaacAlexanderDIY Did it! Except mine is a mini skeleton breaking out of a coffin. Had to start small, but it came out great. Thanks for the inspiration!
That is so cool!
@@Ren4U2 Thank you so much !
Absolutely creepy, fantastic and ghoulish!!! Great job Isaac!! 👍😉👏👏❤️💀
Thanks so much!!
Do you think the family would notice if I made one and set it up inside? You did say it was rated for indoors and outdoors. He really turned out great! And there were a lot of great tips I can use in other props.
Yes they would notice ☺️
Outstanding!!👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
