I'm sorry I didn't know how spunkeii got people to join Tree's Dead Hearts. It's hard to watch it now seeing all the artists that didn't want to be there. I'm glad this map is finished so that the document with evidence is reaching as big of an audience as it can. Hopefully spunkeii is long gone though

@@cinderheart8545 dead hearts was spunkeii and me, spunkeii managed choosing participants and hosted the map on their channel. It's been reuploaded by someone else now. Lots of people worked hard on their parts though, just like in this map
It's really sad tho, because trees dead hearts was one of my favourite maps until I found out about the stuff that happened to the animators

Trees Dead Hearts was one of my favourite maps, but now that I know what it really was I’m not sure how I feel about it.
Damn, I remember seeing the original MAP call and thinking "Man, Spunkeii must be a great person/host because a lot of people wanna join this!"
I remember being so innocent back then. You and all the other people, especially the young children around my age and older and younger people alike, deserved better. It wasn't fair to you, nor anyone else to be manipulated into joining their MAPS. I'm very proud of you for staying strong through it all though. Nevertheless, wonderful job to all the people who put effort into their parts.
It's incredible HOW many people they were able to manipulate- everyone from thirteen year olds to me, at 25- im an ADULT and they had me at the point i was afraid to come online on discord because i knew the second i did they would message me, over and over, lock me into a conversation, ask me for favours, and i wouldnt know how to say no. they're very, very good getting you to let your guard down.
Animal Gaming yeah..I was subscribed to her. I loved her videos and honestly thought she was amazing.. then I found out what happened and I was upset beacuse "hey, I really liked her videos.." it's very sad and I'm glad she left UA-cam completely..

Oh my god...i didn't know they were that bad. I knew this had happend but i didn't know they hurt people that way. I wish everyone including Nate,a happy,safe life without them. They were one of my favourite animators. I'm really dissapointed.

Just seeing this makes me feel so amazing. Not because of the map (even tho everyone did great!) but because it's incredible to see the community slowly recovering after a toxic person left a huge tear in the fandom. Everyone who was hurt by Spunkeii, please know you have the support of the entore WC community. We can move past these bad events!
In the wake of this awful situation, a lot of people have come together, and it feels like theres been a big release. people are finally able to recover, and heal, and the amount of people who i had some ind of beef or argument with ive made up with after this- the perspective of seeing what truly horrible things people are able to do... its good to see people receive closure, and begin to move forward, together
I had no idea about Spunkeii. I hope everyone mentally, and physically damaged by Spunkeii are okay now.

Nate I feel bad for you and all the people who were manipulated to join spunkeii's maps, but also inspired by the way all of you were able to get out of that situation. I never like spunkeii and now I hate them for doing this to all these people. Dr3am3at3r I think everyone thanks you for that amazing watermark.

Wow this map is beautiful each part is stunning and shows show much emotion in these fictional cats and shows the struggles they go through, and I love the song . Couldn’t have chosen a better map. Though watching this leaves a bittersweet taste in my mouth. All the parts are fantastic, definetly. But how most (if not all) were made by people who truly didn’t want to make these makes me have mixed feelings. Regardless, I’m glad you brought this map to light, and the horrible things that happened with it.

And what you did was beautiful Nate, rehosting a map to show the art of many pressured and guilt-tripped artists so that they can be happy with the finished results.
It's sad to watch Maps like for example Tree's Dead Hearts because it's such a beautiful map (one of my personal favourites) and now knowing that not everyone wanted to be there makes me feel sick and almost guilty for liking the map so much.
I'm very lucky to only have started UA-cam when this Spunkeii drama started, and then ended as quick as it started. Honestly I'm grateful and relieved because I would have been interested in the maps they hosted. And if I joined them and found out about what they've been doing I'd be disgusted.
*I am disgusted* that somebody could do that to people, to CHILDREN.
I also think it is very helpful that you added that evidence doc. Personally, I don't want to look at it but it's a very good way for people to be able to spot the red flags quicker and be able to avoid situations and people like this.
But in all honesty, I hope Spunkeii gets mental help.
Thank you for rehosting this map and bringing out the good in it. We're so lucky to have creators like you who are willing to pick up projects with bad histories just to make the participants and victims feel just a bit better and less shocked.
I hope you and all the other animators get to forget about it and leave it in the past and keep creating wonderful art and making so many people happy and inspired, knowing there are some idiotic and toxic people on the Internet but together as a community, we can get through the toxic grip this person has on some people.
This is a beautiful community that doesn't deserve to have people like this but thanks to other people, we can get rid of them.

This is so beautiful! I really don't think this MAP would've had such a powerful message or such a positive reaction if that other user had finished it.
They manipulated people into joining it and pulled whole number of insurmountable things that would've darkened this MAP.
For me, I think this message was intended to simply be a sad MAP filled with ships that didn't work out or a cat died. Now it actually has a good one: No matter what happens you can keep going. It's not the end. And, like you said, it is closure, but I find it interesting that this closure, this beautiful thing, blends with yet another beautiful thing.

It makes me sad because I loved Spunkeii’s art and I loved their maps, but hearing this makes my heart hurt. I looked up to Spunkeii as an artist/animator. I’m glad they were found out because that is absolutely horrible. I feel sad that people didn’t want to join their maps because they all turned out awesome! But when they don’t want to be there, it’s a different story. I’m glad you reuploaded this because it still turned out amazing! Sorry to all of the minors who were sexually harassed and/or abused by Spunkeii.
In a way this feels like an almost fitting form of closure to the trouble with Spunkeii, and man I had no idea that was going on. To everyone affected by the deceitful manipulative actions of Spunkeii, I’m truly sorry you had to deal with that kind of person. To the people they let down and hurt, “you can be king again”. First to the map, it turned out awesome! I love the song and everyone's part BUT it has it's deep feeling inside of me to know who was the main host of this map. It shakens me to know what happened, even if I haven't noticed anything. Even while being in discord groups with Spunkeii. I'm shocked and disgusted to know how things went out.

God, I wasn't aware that Spunkeii was doing this, and it pains me so much to see this happening. It gives me some certain flashbacks to a period of time where something similar happened to me, tbh, and that just makes it hurt even more to see it happening to others. It makes me feel sick to the stomach reading the statements and screenshots from these victims. Thanks for keeping the map going, and thank you for talking about this subject and calling Spunkeii out. We'll have to stay on a lookout in case she comes back with a new username, I suppose.

I was subbed to spunki but when he was exposed I was shocked. I was like how the...They seemed so nice and cool but no they aren't any of that...I was very pleased that he is gone now no person should be pushed to do anything.

It’s terrible what people do sometime, trying to manipulate people into making map parts, etc. I myself was never effected but I hate to know that I could have and it’s terrible to think many of the artists I enjoy watching were forced into a place they didn’t want to be in. I hope everyone effected is ok and that Spunkii is gone

I just gotta say Im very shocked of what happened. Honestly, ive been more focused on things and havent been engaging in fandom matters because of my family's situation. But I gotta say its a big shocker that someone would do that. And honestly, I have to say that Ive watched MAPs and seen Spunkeii name in the animation, and I would have never of guessed they do this. Now I dont know them personally, but still, its pretty awful knowing they did this. Anyway the MAP was really nice and Im glad u continued it. I guess u could say we're all fooled by them. I feel so bad for all the people that were affected by them, and I hope things go better for all of them. Honestly it disgusts me to see someone do that, and I hope they shape up in the future.
Wow. I used to look up to spunkeii but after reading through almost all of the evidence you provided in the google docs, I can say that I no longer want to affiliate with them. It’s terrifying and sickening to see that monster pushing sex, contact, and other frankly inappropriate things in children. CHILDREN! That’s not even mentioning their clear want to guilt trip and manipulate people into relationships and doing things that are so terrible. Thank you Nate for putting all this together to expose the world of this animator I once aspired to.
I’m sorry that this sick person has done those horrible things to you and those other people. You all didn’t deserve that kind of treatment and I hope that Spunkeii will be remorseful and sincerely apologize to you and his/her other victims. But seriously-- This was an effort on your part, and everyone else's, Draik. I honestly had no clue about the Spunkeii situation, and I'm sorry to hear that not only yourself, but several others both close to you and not got wrapped up in such a shitty situation. It's a tight thing to deal with, on your own or with friends, when you have people who cling emotionally like that, and then ghost you the next second, and I wouldn't want anyone to have to deal with that. I really hope things get better for you, and frankly, for Spunkeii too. I hope they can finally learn from their mistakes, and get the help they deserve. And honestly, putting the map together like this, good job! I can only imagine the time and effort that went into putting this together, when Spunkeii abandoned it. You, and all the animators, should be incredibly proud of what you've done. Great job on this map, and I hope things are better for you and everyone else who got involved for the future!

This is absolutely beautiful! I praise the way you helped salvage the parts together to make this beautiful map! A horrible person might have started it but it was ended in the light of a good person and many amazing animators
It was mostly done- only six parts were left when spunkeii abandoned it, and everyone in the map was okay with their part being used in my rehost, so I only needed to assign out those six parts. I did two parts for this and I spent... so much time on it, so many hours, I was so, so proud of it when i made it, and even now I like it. Seeing it go unused after spunkeii BEGGED me to join in the first place, to see someone who called themselves my friend just continue to open new projects and refuse to even rehost this one, to just.. unlist it, pretend it didnt exist,... i did so many parts for them because they begged me too. they begged me to give THEM parts in my maps and i did, and they gave me just... the laziest work they could, never followed my rules, constantly went against my scripts and designs... they just. didnt care. i would spend hours, days on art for them and they would just... give me nothing back.
Goodness! Again I hope your okay! I can truly see the passion in your part and I can see the time and effort you put in all of your parts! ((I’m kinda shaking right now because you respond to me so sorry if I sound wired)) but I hope your well and I know it will be hard to get over this but I know you will power through it sending my love and support

I understand the pain this person has caused, but I can see why the song was disliked(the cover that is.)- also while watching this I saw a watermark that made me quite amused; I'm not going to quote it, but I believe it was highly reasonable response to this bad person, who worked their way in and out of people's lives. I hope that there will be no next time and hope that there will be no clones of Spunkeii or people who are like this.
For the animations forced into this or joined willingly, your art is wonderful and beautiful. You should never let someone block your art and tallent. I hope that many of you have gone on and made more works to be cherished by the loving community we have here.

Woah. I've loved some of Spunkeii's maps and Viioletshine's map parts, but this is shocking. Your not the only ones who feel fooled. Even people like myself, who thought this person was great and hardworking, have been fooled as well. I'm glad that this person now gets the karma they deserve. I know karma better than anyone, so it is clear that justice has, or will be served. I'm proud of everyone's work, and especially you, Nate. Picking up the project as a closure for Spunkeii's actions, it is truly inspiring. You now earn mine, and probably a lot of other people's high respect (Not that I didn't have any already). I'm excited for any new maps you make, and I hope that never again, will you animators or us viewers, will be fooled by Spunkeii, Viioletshine, whatever you call them, ever again.

I really can relate to how Nate feels. I was co hosting a map with spunkeii that I worked really hard on and was really proud of but half way through spunkeii just quit and left me to deal with everything. It. Was fine at first but then spunkeii awful deeds came to light and almost half of my map participants left because they didn’t know spunkeii had left co hosting. I truly feel bad if spunkeii pressured any on of them into joining but it is very frustrating when you love a project. Anyways, the map is doing better now and some really great people are helping me get it back on its feet. Thank you for coming to my ted talk

Wow can we take a second and say how much this map means to me. All everyone has been through to make this map. Pain, tears, anger, sadness do I need to go on? You are an amazing person draikinator don't let anyone tell you wrong. This person deserves to be locked up in jail. As a young child I know I saw a lot of things, My parents wouldn't have wanted me to see. But they weren't there for me. I remember seeing bad things. This is illegal what this person has been and is doing. Everyone is so strong putting up with this bull crap. This is an amazing map and the scars may be seeable. But, there beautiful.
This behavior from spunkeii is horrible. I as a viewer watching believed that spunkeii simply climbed their way up to popularity like most artists have but little did we know of their real intentions
I hate that so may amazing artists were forced into this map. But the effort is absolutely incredible. Im glad this map was made as somewhat closure tor the artists who had worked so hard. Everyone did incredible on this map and my sympathy goes to those unjustly forced into making map parts

It's hard to know a sexual predator wriggled their way into such a wonderful fandom; it just goes to show that community is completely free of horrible people. It's best that this be a warning to all of us; as well as a reminder that we still need to honor both the victims and the artists. Yes, this project was probably not very fun for most and for others it will serve as a painful reminder of a relationship they desperately hope to forget. Nonetheless, this MAP is VERY fitting, given the situation.

What I read in the Google Drive gave me the creeps. I've been harassed by multiple people now and reading what _one person_ could do to dozens of people really freaked me out. It horrifies me that a human being would allow themselves to manipulate and abuse so many people, or anyone at all. I hope this person is long gone. I hope people have the courage to tell them no. I hope this ends and I am so sorry to everybody who was manipulated or abused by them.
