Mya on Keeping Her Love Life Off Social Media

- www.vladtv.com - Mya has had a career filled with wins including chart-topping albums and awards, but when it comes to relationships and children, the beauty isn't ready to settle down just yet.
In an exclusive with VladTV, the 34-year-old says she adores children, but doesn't have baby fever.
"I don't have any plans for marriage or kids in the future," she said. "I believe that all things fall into place when it's suppose to. I have my mind on other things as far as heart set on taking care of certain things, I'm just not there. I love kids, but that's actually never been a desire of mine yet. When it's gonna kick in I'm not sure."
She also talks about how rumors affect her dating life, and how she manages to keep her personal life off social media.

They pay for everything out of pocket and make significantly less than people on major labels per album. But they keep everything they do make. No recoupment or financial obligations. I respect independent artists.

Mya is still beautiful. Inside and out. She's never engaged in ratchet behavior or put anyone else down. Very humble and intelligent young woman. Love how well spoken she is. What really gets me about her is that smile though. Good luck to her.

This woman is truly a class act. I can't believe all the ugly, sexist comments she's gotten from people - especially from the DJ's over at the Breakfast Club. It's obvious she's gotten more guarded from this kind of slander and dumb rumors about her being promiscuous. Seeing how she conducts herself in interviews, it seems obvious that she has more dignity and respect for herself than that. I'm glad she's still making music and putting herself out there.
Mya is so solid. Just hearing her speak she is so grounded and man I just love everything about her. She knows what she want and she doesn’t care about perception and she recognizes the power she has. She is one of my favorite all time artist and people.
I think she's been hurt really bad...some of those questions about dating, rumours, etc she took personally and seemed like she was speaking about something specific that happened to her...maybe rumours ruined her relationship? Also, I can't help getting Aaliyah vibes from Mya. Soft spoken, well articulated, beautiful woman, etc.

Mya would make a great therapist; she's very pretty to look at so you'll always make eye contact and converse deeper; she's also so very soothing to listen to and she has quite a bit of depth & hindsight to offer (she's obviously very intelligent & perceptive to the world around her). I could see Mya giving very sound advice to clients. 😏
