I don't see how anyone could ever be dumb enough or crazy enough to cheat on Mýa. And I definitely get where she's coming from when it comes to hypocrisy in relationships. One time I dated a guy who I never should have let out of the friend zone. There were very early signs of hypocrisy on his end. He was very sexist. He thought it was ok for men to do certain things but felt like women shouldn't do those same things. We had a lot of fun but overall it was a toxic situation. So we broke up and decided to be friends. His idea of friendship was completely different from mine though. I was thinking friends like, we don't have any problems with each other and maybe we can occasionally keep in touch from a distance. He wanted to still be hooking up and I wasn't going there with him. He seemed to understand and let it go. He was on social media posting photos of him with other women not long after we split and I was happy for him. I was thinking, finally he is happy doing his own thing and won't be trying to talk to me anymore. Then one day he called me on the phone saying he wanted to hang out. By then, I was in a new relationship with someone who treated me much better. So when I told my ex I couldn't hang out with him because I had a boyfriend, he went apeshit. He started calling me every name in the book and falsely accused me of cheating on him because he didn't think it was possible for me to have moved on to another relationship as quickly as I did unless I was already talking to the other guy when we were still together. But that didn't make any sense because clearly, my ex had seemed to have moved on even faster than I did. So I didn't understand what his problem was. His attitude seemed to be that even though we were broken up, he felt like he could just treat me any kind of way and get back with me whenever he felt like it and that I'd just be sitting around waiting for him, which is crazy. He felt like it was ok for him to be in the streets doing whatever he wanted but clearly felt some type of way about me doing the exact same thing. Now I'm married. I don't speak to the ex anymore but I am still cool with his family. I get along much better with them than I get along with my in-laws.
