The D.C.-born singer admits that in addition to recording in the studio, she will spend three hours a day in the gym to prep for a tour.
Speaking more about her fitness, Mya says that she really started to rethink her fitness goals after injuring her ankle on "Dancing With the Stars," leading her to gain 25 pounds. The singer says she did a lot of research of nutrition and fitness, and believes that she understands what her body needs now.
the sad part scrolling down the comments in 2018 is how much hate is spewed out. People grow and over time change. We are all works in progress. Like stop all the hating. Bad technique and training when your already exhausted to death is overtraining, if you think 3 hrs is overtraining then i hate to see what you think about summer and spring workouts for football, track, baseball, and basketball
Lol I've played football all of Highschool and summer 2 a days were terrible. And are now illegal because of kids getting dehydrated and over exhausted. I consider myself in good shape and I work out for 30-45 min maybe and hour. You don't need to work out that long it's unnecessary.
