Ohh yay I've really been wanting more space dying lately. As great as all the colour controlled experiments are that you've been doing recently, I really love just seeing the dye doing what the dye wants to do.
How timely!! I was just looking up space dying techniques this week as I want to try it out soon. :) Trying to learn how to dye variegated skeins and the different ways to do it
WOW!! I love the colors!! You always do such an amazing job!! Thank you so much for sharing everything with us!! Please take care and stay safe and healthy 💕💗💖
Those three skeins turned out amazingly balanced between them! I don't know if it was the twist (which also probably gave more of the white), but they all have similar amounts of the same kinds of colors, which I think is pretty amazing for a space dyed set. I think for colorways like this where it's semi-repeating but changing along the skein as well as there being three not-quite-the-same skeins, a good project would be a triangle shawl. The increase in stitches across the project will change how the colors pool, so a more neatly repeating colorway is going to look completely different from the top to the bottom anyway!
I LOVE it!! I'm always afraid of getting mud... I never know what to make with yarn like that. I'd like to know how many times you actually overdye!! 😂🤣😂🤣
I don't overdye that often! I always have some skeins I list in my shop that I consider overdyeing at some point, but I've found that different people have different tastes than me. :D
Stunning!!! I agree that this colorways is very bird-like - to me it feels like the colors of a hummingbird, or stained glass. Your patience paid off!
I agree! Very much like a hummingbird!
Thank you so much!
I love this technique. I really like the surprise when you don't move the yarns. Very pretty.
Thank you so much!
Absolutely beautiful ❤️ it does remind me of tropical birds too 😊
Thank you! 😊
Love how it turned out😍
Thank you so much!

YES! This is one of my favorite ways to dye. Just seeing what the colors want.

Thank you so much, Karen!
Lovely colorway :)
I also would love to see you do this same thing again, but let your kids choose the 3 colors for the yarn.
Great idea! They'd love to do that.
@@ChemKnitsTutorials So glad you love the idea :) I thought they would as well :) I know they love to help you :)
Great job!
Thanks!

Oh yes! I love feeling birds in my yarn. :D

@@ChemKnitsTutorials I think just once you should do a lesson in overdyeing.... Would be interesting..
This is beautiful... would love to see this done on a shawl..
Ooooo... that would be fun! I'd also be pretty scared. ;)
Gorgeous yarn oh btw I love your hair length looks really good on you!
Thank you! I'm enjoying it since I doubt I'll ever go this long again, but I'm itching to chop it sooooooo badly.
Yessssss 💖
THank you!!
Wow 😮 looks beautiful new sub here want to learn more ✌️☮️❤️
Welcome to the channel! I love experimenting with color and this one turned out awesome. :D
You should add this style to your next wheel for mystery colors!
Oooo yes! Although I think that having space dyeing has me think of this one as an option (I think space dyeing is on the wheel)
