Catching a cramp in a 400 is crazy especially a relay

Sumner is capable of more in the 4x4.
The other 46 guy I’m hoping outdoors he will run faster.

I agree which is why I was way disappointed in his 46.8 on the third leg.I was almost sure Sumner could run a high 45(I think he's very fast 400m wise as quite a few 800m guys can be). Maybe it's because with both Arkansas and Florida dropping out Georgia was running against light opposition and it was up to them to press themselves.I know Boling ran a 45.12 split but if Patterson and Lang had remained in the race I'm certain he would've rocketed under 45.

Boling's 45.2 split was excellent along with Godwin's sub 45 but their middle runners while fast just aren't stocked enough against Bama. Two forty six guys in the middle sandwich isn't enough.

If they ran with him Boling may have very well got a sub 45.0 split on the open leg... He has been a great "team" guy after leaving HS with all those accolades. It's wild that two dudes pulled up and after the open lap Jacory Patterson and Arkansas lead leg were completely blown out... Maybe they acted. Matt wanted to do for his team and I have to give him his props, realizing he is probably over utilized and used in the wrong way to get his best. Yet he does his job. If they used him as a 400m dude from the beginning he might be under 44.0 indoors even.

@@dennisrobinson8008 Patterson had won the 200 meter with Bolin second.

@@vernonfrance2974 Jacory runs alot of races and his 20.29 was an accomplishment. I never said Boling was the best. I said on this 4x400 he had blown every one else out by almost four strides then Jacory and the Alabama fellow appeared to pull up.

@@vernonfrance2974 Too bad,I know Boling's got a sub 45 in him(because of the anchor 44.7~ he ran in his last high school relay) and the matchup with Patterson would've brought it out.

@@paultoy9611 Patterson is 45.04 indoor which translate to low 44 outdoor. Like 44.2 or better.
