My early years were wonderful! My life was on a trajectory to express the many creative gifts I had been given, and I did live out that expression for a long time and was joyous and grateful!!
But family tragedies, health problems and deaths of loved ones and persecutions against me as a woman of God endlessly came at me, I did hold on to my faith to keep me level, but my creative dreams came to a halt. it has been many years. I am now over 60, and I find the experience you speak of, Fanchon, in the first 10 minutes of her conversation with Dominique where things in life seemed to overcome you on the path of expressing the beautiful life within, well I relate to you! Thank you!

Wow! Fanchon's faith and testimony is so so amazing and such a reflection of God's glory! I am a social worker in California, and although I do not agree with the politics here I have also found myself in this position to bring Glory to God! Praying with people and encouraging and loving the world..and that makes me thankful for what I do. Its not easy..but to God be the glory! I am so excited for this duo news team to come!! I agree. The news doesn't report just the facts anymore. I'm on the side that realizes we are destroying ourselves and we need to let people think for themselves instead of being told what to think.

I consider myself Hindu - not monotheistic - and I am in a very happy, loving, fulfilling open relationship. I respect your faith and your experiences so much, but part of me is always scared to be judged by people who do believe in one god and one partner. I hope you feel your community also has room for people like me.

Fanchon is a beautiful woman of devout faith. She does talk a lot (she mentions God in almost every sentence), and I would advise her to keep some things private, like Dominique does. For example, the reason Fanchon divorced her husband should be kept private. Dominique doesn't tell the public the particulars of her divorce, and rightfully so. Airing dirty laundry can go both ways. If you asked Fanchon's husband why the marriage ended, he'd have a whole laundry list of things he didn't get out of the marriage that he feels he desperately needed. Men struggle with different demons than women do. That doesn't make them worse, just different. Anyway, I'm looking forward to their new show! I think it will be good!

I don’t feel like she was being pushy about her faith nor was she attempting to get anyone to believe the way she does. This was the “get to know Dominique’s co-host Fanchon Stinger” episode and Fanchon mainly spoke to her journey and what motivates HER. I feel like if her motivation was anything besides God, even if you aren’t motivated by the same things, you wouldn’t have been turned off but simply because she’s motivated by God you were. You can’t deny that Fanchon is a lovely woman and I would think that people who are non-believers would still be able to enjoy hearing about who she is. I’m a Christian, however with as lovely of a person as Fanchon is, she could have been attributing her wonderful personality and positive outlook on life to Islam or Buddhism and I still would have been here hearing her story. Simply because you do not believe in God and do not practice religion at all doesn’t mean you cannot listen to and be enlightened by things believers have to say.
I’m sorry, but that’s your opinion. I feel, that if we wanted to subscribe to a religious based podcast, we would have done that! This channel has changed so much and I personally don’t think it’s for the better with the content that has been shown over the past few months!
@@beautifulsurprise9424 - It's not just this interview, Dominique has been talking about God more and more in her interviews and podcasts and it is really noticeable which can be a turn off for those not interested in religion as it is like being preached to if there is too much of it. There are plenty of Christian channels for those who like that. All I was saying was Dominique may lose viewers if she doesn't at least give a warning at the beginning of the videos.
I got teary eyed watching this something I have never ever done watching anything on tv, internet or any other platform! So happy she is co-hosting with Dominique!
I think it's wonderful that you two are so open and unashamed to share your faith. I wasn't going to watch this video. I had no idea what the topics would be. But I can relate to Fanchon's story. Thank you for sharing. I've been in limbo and I second guess myself every day. The pain is deep. I'm a Christian also. The path I have walked has been so lonely.

I have always greatly enjoyed your podcasts and responded and commented positively. I appreciate the fundamental and central role that "God" plays in your life. Of course, as you have stated yourself, "God" comes in different forms for all of us and as such, I found this podcast to be more like a church sermon in its evangelical fervor. While the pivotal and essential role that God plays in your cohost's life is huge and authentic, for me, the exhausting and incessant repetition of it became overbearing and actually drowned out certain facets of her story. It seemed like every other sentence started with or ended with proclaiming glory to the Lord as the sole and ultimate guide and creator of everything, and how once one accepts Him as The Voice to listen to, all will be well. While I have no problem with this message even if I do not fully embrace it myself, it quickly became a "flogging of a dead horse". We got it loud and clear after a few minutes but listening to her continually pronounce her religious stance from the podcast pulpit diluted the story for me. Sure, talk about God and the essential role He plays as you often do, but, did she really have to reiterate it over and over and over so this genuinely seemed like a fundamentalist Christian podcast to the point of a brainwashing session! I say this as a woman raised Catholic in Ireland and who holds spirituality very dear. I wish you well and hope if Fanchon is a guest again, that there might be more balance in the conversation.
