I am tackling a similar project. Thank-you for taking the time to make and post videos. It’s very helpful to me and a lot of other people. We would have no where else to turn if it weren’t for helpful people like yourself. I will leave you with some words of wisdom my brother shared with me long ago. These words will help with most projects. They are. “ Once begun, half done “ Which means half the battle is beginning a dreaded project. Begin the project to overcome the anxiety of the project. If you can begin it, you can do it. Take care.

Did you mention anything about installing gutters to catch the run-off from the roof, that will help a lot in keeping the bottom of the walls dry even with that short overhang.

No changes in 4 years. But it does need a rebuild this season. The lower firebricks closest to the flame have begun to crack into smaller pieces and the fire cement keeping the internal stack shape has all but completely fallen off.

Excellent job. The only thing I would have done slightly different was I would additionally have glued the faces of the wood extensions to the footer. You are relying on the bolts to absorb all the movement over the years. That makes me nervous, though I am sure your work will outlast your own needs.

great job Z . do you have any tar paper to put on the plywood to stop rain soaking in . or even paint to seal it.

This is off topic but I saw your video on how to make colloidal silver last night. What number video is it as I need a refresher course. Also would you be willing to sell a jar of your colloidal as I need some now until I gather the materials needed to make my own. I would surely pay you well for your efforts.
