@@JonathanNVlogs The ones I have listed should be carbon fiber but if you are unsure then go to the seller's storefront and search or send them a message.
No, they don't open any farther. I have replaced the spark plugs since installing these and never hit my head once, which is saying something since the Forester is lowered and I'm 6'3".
Cool. I have been wanting these but the other kits are overpriced to me.
That is how I feel as well.
Just installed my set
Nice!
I only see the ones for a 2002 ones
The SF and SG foresters use the same ones.
If u can send me the link because the ones u have only show as a 2002
The SF and SG foresters use the same ones.

Are the SG struts the same as the SF?
They are the same
I tried to adapt some Toyota Hood Struts to my 2006 XT. No go :(
What model Subaru is that, hard to see it in the video.
It is, in fact, an 06 XT.
those struts are so short. the hood doesn't open up fully
They open to the same position the prop rod would hold the hood at.
glad to see more videos!
Thanks
Do they open up any farther than that? The grimmspeed ones I have let the hood go all the back to the "service" position

@@DIYEVERYTHING for a third of the price, they seem like pretty nice struts.
