Bruce Dickison se produit pour la première fois en solo au Hellfest, un véritable événement ! L'incroyable chanteur d’Iron Maiden y porte haut les couleurs de l’album The Mandrake Project.
Bruce Dickinson est l’une des figures incontournables du heavy metal mondial, un statut d’exception conféré par plusieurs décennies de bons et loyaux services au sein d’Iron Maiden. Une véritable légende !
Comme si être la voix de l’un des groupes les plus influents du 20ème siècle ne suffisait pas, l’organe reconnaissable entre mille de Bruce Dickinson s’exprime également depuis 1990 en solo. En 2024, c’est The Mandrake Project que Bruce Dickison offre à ses fans. Une sortie particulièrement attendue, le dernier album solo du chanteur remontant à 2005 avec l’album Tyranny of Souls.
Bruce Dickinson est VRAIMENT un touche-à-tout : il est musicien bien sûr mais aussi écrivain, entrepreneur, escrimeur et plus étonnante encore… pilote de ligne et instructeur de vol. C’est donc sans surprise que le Britannique transporte les festivaliers au firmament du heavy metal. Un vol que nous ne garantissons pas sans turbulence, car avec Dickinson en général, ça secoue !

You must be joking man. I loved early Maiden and Bruce's vocals but since Seventh Son his vocals went drastically down hill. When he tries to hit the higher notes it sounds like he's been sucking on a helium balloon 😢. Dreadful.

I saw an interview with Tanya and she had nothing but good things to say about Bruce. She said he was great to work with and he had more energy than people way younger. She seemed like a really cool chick from the interview. Really down to earth

To think 10 years ago I saw this amazing man flying a spitfire above me in a dog fight amongst other planes above sonisphere Knebworth festival followed by a 2 hour show with maiden, then he fought cancer the end of 2014, and he is on stage here is remarkable. What a powerhouse of a human. Bruce is a true legend!!
'Magick' if done correctly seems to help man and I do believe Bruce partakes of it but regardless he is an amazing person with seemingly nonstop energy and curiously to learn about things and is still a wicked singer no doubt.

saw this amazing band yesterday live in cologne. What an Entertainer, what great voice Bruce still has. Enjoyed the complete evening with this powerful and authentic band. soooooo great! Great performance still!

@@Urizen777 that's in many levels untrue. There are great musical performances along with the whole package you are describing. Come on, you can't dislike lights or fire. And dancers, it depends if they add to the show. I'll give you autotune, though. That sucks. And I'm not sure that you are describing a typical metal show, to be honest. But pop has its values from time to time.
@@Prometheus_666 I'm not saying that any of those things (except for the autotune) are inherently bad. For some bands they are actually a huge part of the whole package you'd expect to get.
However, many bands that implement them nowadays (in many, genres, rock, metal, pop, etc.) rely too much on them using them as a lifebelt to distract from some pretty mediocre to downright bad performances music-wise.
How does he still sound so good!??
Doesn't smoke cigarettes. Doesn't take drugs. Very rarely drinks alcohol. Is physically fit enough to pass a commercial pilots medical exam at his age. He knows how to look after his voice. The question should be how can a man who had throat cancer still sound half as good. Bruce is a fucking legend

Bruce Dickinson sings a lot!!! He is 65 years old and still sings a lot, of course not like he did 20 years ago, but for an old man at his age he sings a lot. You can cry that it's 'playback' all you want, I don't care, because a concert with him is an excellent musical experience, and on 12/6 I'll be there seeing him live. Greetings from Brazil!

I Agree nothing matches Bruce’s energy on stage. Halford had it the 80’s/90’s, Anselmo in the 90’s/2000’s but Bruce has always had it and to have this energy and emotion at his age is nothing but a miracle.

This is real music. No fucking click, no backing tracks, no bullshit. A band of great musicians all listening to each other and grooving together, fronted by possibly the greatest frontman in all of metal.
No click? How can you be sure? Metronome has been (real) musician's tool for ages anyway so there shouldn't be a problem with using one.
@@saalasruokangas4206 Bruce and Iron Maiden have been very vocal about never recording or playing live to a click. I'd be extremely surprised if they had one here. I haven't checked with a metronome, but as a drummer it feels to me that they're not playing to a click here.
By the way, I'm not saying that a click is always bad. Of course I practice and often record with a metronome, but for live music I much prefer it when the band is free to speed up or slow down in the moment. Slight variations in tempo are a natural part of music that has been lost in recent times. I also like it when the drummer gets excited and plays a little faster live. That's what makes the live experience unique for me. I don't see the point in going to a show to hear something that sounds exactly like the recording. But that's just me.

@@veldringr On May 26th Bruce played in Paris, but he had kind of a flu and didn't have his best voice. Seeing him live again with a great voice was even better for me :) He hit those notes very well !

So Bruce Dickinson starts off the show with accident at birth and he goes on and on after song after song putting every emphasis of metal into what he sings and what he feels. As you can tell by the expressions on his face or the power that he still has. I say if you have to use backing tracks to accomplish your music and I'm not going to talk about the other bands that people know about that use backing tracks. They should hang it up because as far as Bruce Dickinson as far as his new band that he put together really, you're going to tour your second band in between maiden and your new band now. If that doesn't sound like one of the best metal singers of all time, I don't know what then but I'll tell you one thing. It was a long time since I sat through a whole concert on UA-cam and I wanted more freaking awesome. Talk about kicking ass
