Wonderful video!! I’ll always remember the dental floss reference! I haven’t been pushing ends in and getting a click. Thank you!

    What pliers are you using?

😭 I've tried so many times! I cannot get a good weld! It LOOKS like my jump ring is closed. But my jump rings don't seem to make an audible click when I go to twist them back closed. I tried a larger diameter too. I'm trying different settings on my Zapp plus. I'm getting so frustrated. 🥴

Your jump ring looks like both ends of your jump ring when they come back together are on top of each other. Since you pushed the left end in a bit before bringing together.

Potentially a shadow you are seeing. No overlap. Your goal is to get the ring back to round as close as possible so ends are flush at all angles.
