The first half of the ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx3ICSK6nSknaL_45CU2NmFSoXjarGMDiJ book is everything about wood: types, tools, finishes, setting up shop etc. The second half is all about doing projects for inside and outside of the home. The color pictures are helpful. After reading a dozen of these types of books, this is probably the best overall (layout, color photos, plans). Only detraction is that many of the projects use a table saw/router/planer, which are usually expensive and take up space, so the plans are less friendly to newcomers and the budget conscious. But I know I can use a drill, circular saw or a jigsaw to make the projects.

Why do you never use glue? Only a few finishing nails/pin nails to hold all your projects together.

The entrance hole is WAY TO BIG this will allow predators in or larger birds like the magpie and she will lay eggs in there and the little bird will die tryting to feed them KEEP THE HOLE SMALL. one and a half inch ,, jeasus a cat could live in that box lol

Whilst this is a great idea , i just feel the holes are too big .
You need to make the holes smaller 😏, otherwise bigger birds , will get in and kill the young . But i guess it all depends on the country .
My holes are generally 32mm wide ....but thats just me .

Can you have a birdhouse Like that and Turn it Into a feeder? I've Made something AS big Like this but with one Floor and as a octagon shaped. Now i dont know how to Turn This Into a feeder. The basic idea was to have a Wind and Weather protected feeder. But it turns Out i've just made a dove Hotel by the Size of that Thing and Same sized entrance holes 😆🤷🤦 Any ideas?
This time I will use woodglut plans for this.

you have a lot of faith in those pin nails I'd use some glue to make the joints stronger.
