Ok that was 2015 of course, but still, it's amazing what he does at his age. Waiting for june 12th, when they fly over from the US to perform in the Netherlands!! See you al there ;)
He should have done one more studio album then a farewell tour after the Forevermore album. With Doug Aldrich. His voice is fried now and these new songs are just cliche shit. Go out while you still have some dignity huh? Don’t be another KISS.

@@elimarsilvanikock7818 Me too. Good to be Bad is a kickass album, and it's mainly Doug's sound. A duo of Doug/Joel would've been killer, but I don't think Doug's ego would allow the other guitarist to shine.

Coverdale is obviously not as good as he was.But come on hes near 70 and is still head and shoulders above most bands.I will go to the tour and buy the album thank God these bands are still going and selling tickets the alternative is watching UA-cam videos from 30 years ago. Long may it continue rock on coverdale still putting his arse on the line and balls to the critics.
Are there more instrumental passages in order to save David's voice?
Like Ozzy, went to his show last year, 40 min of singing and 50 min of solos (keyboard, drums, guitar, guitar medley...).
Anyway, better this and to be able to still watch them live.

@@thefonzkiss Why are you calling me a noob? And if they don't play it at the first show it's not uncommon for the setlist to remain the same for the remainder of the tour. That's one of their most popular songs and one of my personal favorites which is why I found it odd they would cut it.
It's a tough one to sing. Michael Devin could probably double DCs lead vocals to make it happen.

All Hoekstra and Beech want to do is play as much widdly widdly crap and hammer ons as they can without any heart and soul. Neither one is ten percent as good a player as Doug Aldrich was, or 5% a songwriter. Same comparison to John Sykes. Or the classic Moody/Galley lineup, what a powerhouse they was. This is a parody of itself.

I liked Whitesnake and Mr.Coverdale WAS a great singer but, I know he's getting on but in my humble opinion and we all have one, he's had his day sorry to say. I also think Doug Aldrich bailed out at the right time. Joel is a technically gifted player but doesn't do it for me like DA does.

I was at the Buffalo show ..Rocked from start to finish, tight as a drum. Yes they tuned down for his voice, he's 70 so what. It was still in the pocket in the key. 100% better than The Who a few weeks earlier. Even though Daltry may have had a closer to the original night. This band blew their doors off!
